The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to shopping malls, popular attractions, and many food options. It’s very convenient for both leisure and short stays. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a nice city view. The bed was comfortable, and the basic amenities were well provided. Housekeeping did a good job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay.

This is a newly established Airbnb hotel in Malacca. The property is clean, modern, and well maintained. The overall stay was comfortable and satisfactory, with well-prepared facilities and a pleasant environment. The location is convenient, making it a good choice for visitors. I would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Malacca.

The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door.But the hotel a bit run down.The big point is very nearby to jonker street below 1km working distance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Pines Melaka Hotel and was incredibly satisfied with my experience. The room space was wonderfully generous, providing ample room to relax and move around comfortably. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the bathtub. It was exceptionally clean, and the ability to enjoy a good view while soaking was a fantastic touch that truly enhanced the relaxation. This is a crucial factor for a comfortable trip, and the hotel certainly delivered. Beyond the comfort, I was very impressed with the hotel's aesthetic. The design is modern and cozy, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a genuinely satisfying stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel for family or business😊

APPLE shares a building with a larger hotel, tucked away in a corner of the building's parking garage. The front desk is just a small table, where two polite Malaysian ladies check guests in. Although they don't speak Chinese, communication is possible through smartphone apps. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM. Luggage storage is free, but items are simply placed behind the front desk in a small concrete partition, without any receipts given, only an assurance of CCTV surveillance. Despite some inner apprehension, our luggage was safe and sound when we returned in the evening. The room is split-level: a double bed downstairs, and upstairs, another double bed and a single bed, making it perfect for families of 4-5 or groups of friends traveling together. Malacca isn't very large, and the hotel is about a twenty-minute walk from the Dutch Square, which is quite convenient. The apartment complex has a mini-supermarket, a swimming pool, and a ping-pong table, so the facilities are quite comprehensive. Crucially, the price is incredibly attractive, at only 200+ RMB per night, making it the best value for money hotel of our entire trip. Highly recommended.

The bed and towels had stains. The towels had blood or some other red marks on them, and the vanity chair was incredibly dirty with red and black stains. However, we mostly used our own stuff, so it was okay. The bathroom and street had a vomit smell that wouldn't go away, even with air freshener. The water heater was broken at first but was fixed later, which was great – the hot water lasted a long time without turning cold quickly. But the water pressure from the faucet was very low. We requested room cleaning, and after being out for over 10 hours, the room still hadn't been serviced. The location is good if you have a car, but difficult to get around on foot. Parking is very limited though.

They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to Melaka’s main attractions such as Jonker Street and the river area. It’s suitable for guests looking for a fuss-free hotel that’s reasonably priced and comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Overall, Bayview Hotel Melaka is an average but reliable option—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a good base for exploring the city.

Location-wise, the hotel is quite strategic. It’s only about 5–10 minutes to Menara Taming Sari, the Melaka River Cruise, and Jonker Walk, so getting around is very convenient. Breakfast was okay—nothing fancy but acceptable for the price. The spread includes classic items like nasi lemak, congee, eggs, toast, fruits, cereal, sausage, and baked beans. The room was affordable and even came with a bathtub. The size was decent as well. However, the air-cond was very slow; even at 16°C, the room stayed warm and I had to use a handheld fan at night (Room 208). There was also no fridge, and the view was just an alley facing the opposite block. Facilities include an indoor pool located next to the café, which is nice since it’s not too sunny. Parking is public outdoor parking, and you’ll need to use the Majlis Perbandaran or TNG app to pay. Overall, the staff were friendly and helpful.
