Hussar Inn
"Stayed at The Hussar for 3 nights. Room was large although a bit noisy due to the proximity of the main road. Bathroom again large with a powerful over bath shower. Plenty of hot water. Food at The Hussar is recommended my partner had the Chilli and was very impressed. Hosts very welcoming."

Shenandoah House
Fort Road Hotel
"We stayed here for two nights to go to an exhibition at the Turner and a gig at Dreamland. It is very handy for both. We loved our stay here. The hotel is beautifully curated even down to the pot pouring in the rooms and this adds to the feeling of luxury and style. The bed was very large and very comfortable. The bathroom well appointed and had very nice products to use. The art in the walls is so interesting and the room booklet carefully describes what the here contains in terms of art. The hotel is very well positioned and the views from the roof terrace which we used on both days were extraordinary. We have booked our next stay so suffice to say, we enjoyed our stay so much. Thank you to the staff who attended to us throughout."
Margate
"Stayed many times iin Premier Inn's so you know what you are in for. Excellent location next to the train station and just a couple of minutes to the beach and town centre. Good sized rooms which look to have been fairly recently updated? First Premier Inn I've been to with no reception so self check in which I imagine could get busy at peak times but staff around to help. Restaurant not the biggest so finding table could be an issue in the main part of the summer but no problem for me this time. Onsite parking £3 per day."
Old Town House Hotel
"Totally decent place to stay. We came for a gig in town and room 5 was clean and considered, but we have a couple of notes for the management: we’d researched the parking and tried to park at Morrison’s, but the day we arrived the parking conditions had changed (both lower and higher levels), meaning we had to abandon that plan and leave the car up in Cliftonville. I took a photo of the new parking sign and shared it on the WhatsApp, and the immediate response was to tell me I was mistaken, then send over all the parking info I’d already read- which just felt rude. The second issue was when we came to go to bed. The under sheet was too small, and whoever made the bed had tucked the majority of the sheet on one side, which meant we had to re-make the bed late at night before we could get into it. The ben linens were excellent quality and mattress topped made it feel so comfy. We also liked the hot drink set-up and the bathroom was spacious and very nicely done with eco-friendly offerings which made my heart happy."
