"The location of Pegasus is excellent. Key shopping precincts, Victoria Market and the lovely spacious Flagstaff park are within 10 mins walk, and major arts and sports venues are just a little bit further.
The room was excellent value. Very spacious, quite modern, and very clean. And it was kept that way with the very diligent maid service. If you want to cook, all the cooking utensils are provided. And there are lots of choices nearby to buy your ingredients. Alternatively, there's an incredible array of cafes, restaurants and bars all very handy. Or if you just wanted to chill in your room, Pegasus provides all the streaming services you can think of. And finally, the service.... very helpful and friendly whether it be the front desk or the cleaning staff. A damn good experience."

"My stay was very relaxing, the complex was very busy with the restaurant and event room filled my room was very quiet.
Bathroom very clean and adequate, heating and cooling easy to adjust to your liking..
Only 1 thing , the coffee and tea supply is very limited in the room, but otherwise service and admission was friendly ,professional and pleasant."

AAnonymous UserThe two 1.5-meter beds were decent. We stayed for 5 nights. They made the beds and mopped the floor daily, but the sheets and duvet covers were never changed. On two days, the trash wasn't emptied. One night, the tissue box was empty when we returned, and it took a very long time for them to bring the extra two duvets we requested by phone. The refrigerator in the room was very noisy, which would be a big problem for light sleepers. We asked the hotel staff to turn it off, and they responded fairly quickly, with two different people coming over, but it still took two days to get it turned off. After checking out, our luggage was too large for the Uber we booked (forgot to select a larger vehicle), so the hotel offered to call a car for us, which I appreciated. However, after waiting over ten minutes, a vehicle that looked like a large van or even a cargo truck arrived... We were rushing for our flight, so we just had to tolerate it. Trying to fit a 30-inch and a 28-inch suitcase in that car was an indescribable experience. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're used to staying in brand-name hotels.

AAngelThe hotel was easy to find and offered 24-hour free parking, though it cost $80 a day. However, street parking in front and behind the hotel was free from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM. After 7:30 AM, you had to pay, with rates of $4 per hour on weekdays and $2 on weekends. You might need to search a bit for a spot.
The room was spacious and came with slippers. They provided four bottles of mineral water daily, and if that wasn't enough, they'd send more upon request – room service was super fast! The room was also very clean.
The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but it was very refined. The buffet restaurant had a unique tiered design. Since I had a stroller, they set me up on a separate level with plenty of space, so it didn't bother anyone. The only minor inconvenience was needing help carrying the stroller up and down the stairs, but the staff were always willing to assist.
I loved the convenient yet quiet location. It was a 12-15 minute walk to Chinatown and just a 2-minute walk to the tram stop. There's also a large park right outside for a relaxing stroll.

The room was beautifully styled, clean, and very comfortable perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and of high quality.
The absolute highlight of our stay was the swimming pool. It was stunning, with incredible views and a calm, luxurious atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some quiet time.
The hotel’s location was also ideal, right next to Chadstone Shopping Centre, which made everything so convenient.
Overall, a truly 5-star experience. We will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melbourne!

GGuest UserThe 69th floor apartment was absolutely amazing . The views are breathtaking. The apartment was just the right size and the little outside / closed in deck was good on a chilly Melbourne night.
The only downfall was the indoor swimming pool it was FREEZING 🥶 !!! So not good after a long day walking around Melbourne city and ready to relax and have a swim !!! The Spa was nice and hot.

AACA place for rejuvenate and value for money.
Location: we did not rent a car, but can go there from CBD by train (30 mins) and bus (10 mins). If you catch the 496 bus from Laventon, it takes a 8 mins walk to the hotel off the bus stop, If you take 497 from Williamslanding, it takes 18 minutes, but you can shop at the centre (Coles, Aldi, K-Mart and Chinese supermarket), eat at different restaurants, and have manicure or massage.
Facilities: the unit is well equipped with cooking utensils, we cooked our breakfast. There is no buffet breakfast but a la carte menu at the country club. The country club has gym and swimming pool too.
Nearby attraction: we went to Werribee zoom, Weribee Park, Werribee Mansion, Joseph's resturant. The zoo has a safari bus which is a great attraction.
Staff: the staff is helpful. We requested a lake view room one day before. They helped us by calling the cleaner as our check in day is a public holiday. Much appreciated.

YYew Siong TanNovotel Melbourne on Collins was a fantastic base for our family trip! The location truly is perfect – having multiple free city tram stops within 100 meters made exploring effortless. We easily walked to major spots like Flinders Street Station and the stunning State Library Victoria. Food options were plentiful nearby, making ”food hunting” a breeze.
A major plus for us was the onsite parking. Renting a car was stress-free knowing we had a guaranteed, convenient spot each night (parking fee applicable, refer to hotel front desk).
The room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of two adults and a kid. Having two queen-size beds was ideal – everyone had plenty of room to sleep well.
**Things that could elevate the experience further:**
1. Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast was good, a wider selection of hot and cold options would be appreciated, especially for a longer stay.
2. TV Upgrade: The current TV channel is very limited. Upgrading to Smart TVs with access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube would be a huge improvement for in-room entertainment, especially for families with young kids / toddler.
3. Shaving Kit Quality:The provided shaving kit's ”cream” (which was a soap) and blade weren't great. Offering a slightly higher quality kit with proper shaving cream would be a noticeable touch.
**Overall:** We had a very comfortable and convenient stay thanks to the unbeatable location, easy parking, and spacious family room. Addressing the breakfast variety, TV upgrade, and shaving kit quality would easily push this towards a perfect 5-star experience. Highly recommended, especially for families needing space and city access.

SSze ManThe breakfast was probably the worst I had in a 5-star hotel. The variety was limited and the quality was bad, e.g. only 3 kinds of fresh fruits and the water melon looked pale. The bathroom was big but the shower place was so tiny. I tried to use the top shelf of the wardrobe. Luckily I used my hand to test if there was any dust. The dust flied right into my eyes when I used my hand to feel the cleaniness! The heat was so insufficient. Their house keeping staff was poor trained. I asked not to clean my room by hanging a sign on the room and turning on the Do the Disturb light. To my surprise, I went back to the room in the afternoon. The staff came in the room. Drew open the curtain. Turned off the Do not disturb. Did not do any cleaning but left me a note that they already cleaned my room according to the instructions! The hotel was also poor in maintenance. I finished breakfast (in the basement) and tried to go back to the room by the lift. The lift came but could not close the door. There was also a staff there and she advised me to take the steps to ground floor. I went to ground floor and only found another lift was out of service. They only had 3 lifts going to the rooms. Beisdes the location which is very central, I cannot thnk of anything to appreciate the experience.

GGuest UserThree bedrooms and two bathrooms, with balcony, kitchen (with oven, microwave, large refrigerator) and washer and dryer; it has a lot of space. We stayed for a total of 6 nights. There was no room cleaning. We had to take out the trash ourselves. Room cleaning service will only be provided if we stay for more than 7 nights.
The overall feeling is very good. This area is very quiet, but it is also in the cable car free zone in the city, so you don’t have to worry about transportation when going to the city for dining.

However, instead of proper duvets, there was only a dark, grubby blanket that looked absolutely filthy. What's more, there was no room cleaning service. For all 5 days of my stay, I had to clean the room and take out the trash myself daily.

The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable.
Cleanliness:
This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible.
Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief.
Service:
The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously.
Facilities:
Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family.
Room:
The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep.
Overall:
While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
