At the Daniel restaurant, you can't eat if you don't make a reservation. A major drawback is the €200 security deposit 😒."

"I came here to watch the Tour de France. The receptionist speaks English. It's convenient because most tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room was clean and had a small kitchen. There was also tableware and a kettle. There was no air conditioning, but there was a refrigerator and a fan, so it was not uncomfortable to sleep even in the summer. There were towels, body soap, and welcome water. The lock was a little hard to open, and it was not an auto-lock, so you had to lock it yourself. The only thing I was disappointed about was that there was no hair dryer. I was disappointed when I realized there was no hair dryer after taking a bath..."

"When I checked in to the room quite late I found unfortunately that the room was not very clean, some little stains on the chairs and tables, especially the bathroom floor was full of footprints... Fortunately when I mentioned this to the front desk the next morning they agreed to either redo the cleaning or change my room. Then I let them redo the bathroom (I'd like to remain away from the trams) which I said the mainroom is fine (though it's not the cleanest either). The service staff were overall quite helpful and friendly. Nice stay overall. One must prepare some coins in order to use the laundry machine."

"The location was excellent, very close to the cathedral and located close the tram, in a very safe and beautiful area. The hotel design was very welcoming and made a comfortable atmosphere. Some things I would have liked better was the cleaning (the daily cleaning was not very thorough), some furniture (there were no wardrobes, or drawers to keep the clothes and they lacked towel racks, and bins to throw stuff). In addition, the check-in process was very troublesome; as there were no staff members, they were supposed to send us a code to enter the building and the bedroom, however, we didn't get one and the instructions were not very clear, we also encountered other tourists with the same problem. Finally, I would praise the breakfast they provided, although simple, it was delicious and well-prepared."

"If you’re looking for cold food and rowdy kids with no air con - this is for you! I rarely leave bad reviews but it upset me so much I felt I had to. Firstly the rooms are not air con as described, we have an 8 month old baby and the room is hot. It is 35 degrees outside. No air con units in room. Ordered food to the room as restaurant was full until 7:45 and it took 45 minutes to arrive - stone cold. By which time our baby was asleep. Then twice disturbed by children running up and down the corridor knocking on our door and shouting. Staff said they’d place a colleague in our floor (there is only one above GL) but no one appeared. Very unhappy with our experience. Won’t stay again."
