YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic.
The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient.
Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese.
The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

MM14809****It's actually a new brand from Capella. The hotel enjoys a tranquil location with beautiful surroundings, offering excellent views from both sides. It's conveniently situated right next to Osaka Castle and a lush green park. The design is modern and elegant, with exquisite details. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the entire hotel embodies a sustainable and eco-friendly philosophy. It's within walking distance of the Chuo Line station, making it very convenient for visiting the Expo. The breakfast spread was diverse and delicious. We were extremely satisfied with our stay, and should I return to Osaka, I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

__cangyueI've always loved the style of W Hotels, and choosing the W Osaka this time was definitely the right decision.
**Facilities:** The facilities are comprehensive, truly befitting a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also delicious, and the gym, swimming pool, and other amenities were all fully equipped.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless, no complaints there.
**Environment:** The 'nightclub' vibe of the environment is fantastic! There are also many great places to eat nearby. I highly recommend the Blue Bottle Coffee downstairs. It's also very close to Shinsaibashi and Namba, basically within walking distance. The subway is convenient too, and Daimaru is just across the street diagonally, making shopping very easy.
**Service:** Everyone was very enthusiastic, and most staff offered Chinese language service. English communication was also not an issue. I will definitely choose W Hotels in other locations in the future.

GGuest UserExtremely bad service especially for a luxury hotel.
Air-condition in room was hardly working, very suffocating for summer. Explained it to the night receptionist. Who immediately replied why could we bear with it on the first night. Sent a fellow service staff who stuck a temperature rod deep into the vent to show the air con was working fine. Couldn’t understand that there was no wind.
On the check out day, asked the concierge on the ground floor to help book a bigger taxi in the morning as there were more people and bags. The person replied “yes, yes, yes”. Came back in late afternoon to confused looks.

GGuest UserThis hotel is incredibly convenient! There's a convenience store right across the street. Plus, the hotel provides a shuttle bus service to the Umeda shopping district. It's such a lifesaver to have a bus pick you up and take you back to the hotel when you're exhausted from all the walking and shopping. The rooms are also very spacious. And if you have any special pillow requests, you can arrange them in advance – super thoughtful!

LLizzie_8181Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room.
The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds).
Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid.
There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games.
As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well.

今今天风会停The hotel made a great first impression; both the common areas and the rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. The room itself was very spacious with a well-thought-out furniture arrangement, providing ample space to move around, making for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom was particularly large, with a clear separation between the shower and the vanity, which was very convenient for showering and getting dressed. The staff were professional and warm; from the front desk to housekeeping, their responses were quick and their service was meticulous and thoughtful. Overall, the stay exceeded expectations and offered great value for money. It's perfect for business trips or family vacations, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the city.

AAnonymous UserThe location is excellent, right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. In a bustling city like Osaka, especially in a prime area where space is at a premium, choosing a central location often means compromising on room size. We had booked an airport transfer service via Ctrip, and it took approximately 35 minutes to get there from the airport. The hotel is located next to a temple; you'll know you've reached the ground floor entrance when you see a Buddha statue. You'll need to go through an automatic door to enter the building and take the elevator up to the 4th-floor lobby. We stayed in a room on the 12th floor. While the room wasn't large, it featured a sofa, a small table, and a double bed. We were two adults and one child. For August during the peak summer season, the room rate was close to 1700 RMB. A large suitcase couldn't be fully opened inside, so I simply left it near the entrance. There's a complimentary rooftop hot spring bath, but swimwear and mobile phones are not allowed inside. We didn't get to try it this time, and I feel it's not particularly suitable for families.

GGuest UserYou can’t beat this kind of place. Cheap and cheerful. One cheerful guy at front desk for sure is Ryo Sakamoto. Every time I went to the front desk, he would smile more. It seems like all guests make him smile.
