This review is my own personal opinion of this hotel. In my view, this hotel has to be THE WORST Hampton Inn in the U.S. Two big problems right off the bat. First, the room front door would not close shut; hence, we could not leave the room for dinner after checking into it. Secondly, it turns out that the room was the last one down the hall right next to what turned out to be the Mechanical Room. As tired as I was from driving all day, I had a hard time falling asleep. The noise from the mechanical was a constant, droning, humming noise; it sounded like a faint fog horn warning ships on the ocean, unrelenting, all night long, yet loud enough to keep you awake. It woke me up in the middle of the night and I just could not go back to sleep. When I called the front desk to complain before bedtime, the hotel manager, Heather, could only offer this simple "solution": "I can give you earplugs!!!" Unbelievable. How unfortunate and disappointing to have such an apparent lack of care for your customers. Two of the basic items that I expect and indeed demand when checking into a hotel are peace and quiet, and a front door that works perfectly well as intended. This Hampton Inn failed miserable at both and seemed to show an unfortunate disregard for our wellbeing. Asked to speak to somebody in charge when I checked out early AM, there was nobody in charge at the time. Front desk staff could do nothing to address my issues. Once back home. I called Hilton Corporate office to file a complaint. Was given a case number. Sent an e-mail to the hotel manager with my complaints asking form my money back. Four days have gone by since doing that. No response from either, yet. Nothing but crickets. Never again, Hampton Inn, Pendleton, OR. Never again, indeed.

Busy making last-minute (second?) changes to travel plans on the phone and Cassandra at the front desk could not have been more helpful and amazingly cheerful because it was pre-dawn. We got just what we needed for a quick overnight and we were so thankful to her. The hotel is excellent, with everything you need — including complimentary coffee out at 5 a.m. We had a 2-Queen studio with an accessible tub and it was perfect, very roomy. The windows open slightly. Another wonderful asset to the hotel was Jason from Maintenance who was immediately on the spot when we had trouble with the electric window shades. Breakfast included the most delicious scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits, breads/bagels, yogurts and fresh apples/bananas. Laundry and fitness off the lobby, both open at 6 am (as does breakfast). A very good show indeed, GM Heather. See you next time, which incidentally will be our 4th visit here.

Pool was closed and that’s the whole reason we booked it. Tried to cancel online, but was past the cancellation time. Will be calling management monday. We did not stay there, had to find a different hotel.

if you use Hilton because of the quality of hotel and service, please read this review. Do yourself a favor. DO NOT spend a night at this hotel. My party found the room to be dirty. There was hair on the tub as well as a plastic wrapper which meant the room had not been cleaned. One of the pillowcases smelled of cologne. My party abandoned the bed with smelly pillow, due to it not being clean. In the morning, they went to get coffee and there was none. They went to the front desk to complain about the room and the coffee. The staff openly admitted the owner would not allow them to purchase coffee. My party asked for a refund for the stay. The staff didn't want to give a refund because "They had been giving too many refunds." the staff openly complained about the Management. They finally gave a refund and my party left with a zero balance. As they were leaving the room, there was a group of cleaning staff waiting to get into the room. Within a hour, the hotel recharged my credit card. When I called I was told that the cleaning staff had gone into the room and found that it was clean and my party was lying about the hair and plastic wrapper. What they didn't know was that pictures were taken by my wife, so I had proof. They sent me the pictures they took after my wife left the room and sure enough, the tub was cleaned by them, then they took photos. To resolve this, the hotel promised that I would be compensated with points equal to the nights stay. I asked several times for the name of the manager who authorized the points. It has been six months since the stay and the hotel has ghosted me. I held off writing the review to see if they would have any integrity. They have none. This hotel does not rise to the quality of a motel six. I use Hilton for a specific reason and this makes me wonder of the Hilton brand is going downhill. It's unfortunate that Hilton has no way to file a complaint. They just tell you to talk to the manager of the property. Yeah, really effective when you can't even find out who that is. Once again, PLEASE do not stay here if you value the Hilton brand.

We stayed for one night and had a very positive experience overall. The room was in excellent condition and exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate a severe feather allergy by placing brand new, feather-free pillows in the room, which was greatly appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was great, with staff regularly checking in to see if we needed anything. The only downside was that the pool temperature was quite cold. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Staff was friendly and nice hotel but the pool was very green, we booked for the kids to enjoy but had to pass on it. Breakfast was good.
