"This is my 2nd time staying at this wonderful hotel. The hotel cleanliness is top notch. Especially their toilet and bathtub. It is very clean and there is no unpleasant toilet smell unlike other hotels. Your room will be clean up everyday with new towels replaced. The hotel is just walking distance to the train station which will link you directly to all the tourist hotspots. The hotel staff at the counter was also very friendly and they can speak good english without having to do google translate.
I just hope the next time i come, the TV channel can be up and working as mine did not work previously. Other than that, it is worth every cents to stay at this hotel. Keep it up. 👍👍"

"We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the location, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, yet the hotel was quiet at night. The place itself was comfy and cozy. However, the housekeeping service was disappointing. They only took out the trash and did not provide any other cleaning throughout our stay, even though we specifically requested a full cleaning, especially for the bathroom. Also, the stool in the room broke while my husband was sitting on it, which was unexpected. Overall, great location but the cleaning service and the proper maintenance need improvement."

Amazing
MM1182****The hotel is luxurious and comfortable. There's a shuttle service for transportation, and Didi (ride-hailing) can accurately reach it. You can also walk up and down if you prefer, consider it a workout. Housekeeping cleans daily and provides turndown service. The hairdryer in the room has two voltage sockets, be careful not to plug it into the wrong one; for the first two days, I plugged it into the wrong one, and the airflow was so weak it took almost an hour to dry my hair. The lobby's shaved ice is delicious; I had it two days in a row. The in-room dining steak is incredibly tasty, truly unforgettable. It's worth staying here.
EEguanmanyingwangxiaoqiangLotte Hotel Seoul: The perfect choice for accommodation on your Seoul trip!
Staying at Lotte Hotel during my Seoul trip far exceeded my expectations! The location is superb, right next to the Myeongdong shopping district, making shopping and strolling easily accessible on foot. It's also close to the subway station, offering incredibly convenient transportation to attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Hongdae.
The room was clean and spacious, with exquisite and elegant decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the night view was spectacular. The facilities were complete and smart, and the toiletries were of high quality, with attention to detail reflecting its refined style. The service was professional and thoughtful; the staff spoke fluent English, responded promptly, and check-in was efficient. They even proactively offered travel tips and suggestions.
The breakfast was rich and varied, with Korean, Western, and Japanese cuisines available, all made with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, satisfying every palate. The hotel's amenities are excellent, with a well-equipped gym, spa, and other facilities perfect for relaxation during leisure time. It's ideal for both business trips and sightseeing, offering great value for money. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Seoul, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

__WeChat518709****The best part of my trip to Korea was surprisingly the hotel! The service was genuinely excellent. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there are tons of great food options nearby, and an entire Lotte World Department Store building to explore. Every staff member was incredibly polite and helpful, which is quite rare to find in Korea. Considering the prevalent issue of discrimination in Korea, it was especially refreshing to experience such consistent courtesy from everyone at this hotel.
YyucongseuThis hotel is right in Myeongdong, making shopping incredibly convenient – just step downstairs and you're there. Getting around is also easy, with taxis readily available and Myeongdong subway station very close by. It's also next to the Chinese Embassy, and the room I booked happened to be an 'embassy view' room, which made me feel extra secure. All the facilities and amenities are pretty complete, the cleanliness is quite good, and the service is also okay. It's a great place to stay if you're in Myeongdong for shopping. As for the downsides: breakfast on the top floor offers nice views, but the food selection is limited. Also, disposable items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and combs in the room come with a charge (which I believe is a standard regulation in Korea).

GGuest UserGreat breakfast! There is a huge selection, there are fruits, sliced fish, cheeses. The lovely suite rooms are large and have a kitchenette and washing machine. There is a shopping center nearby, and there are many cafes in it. There is a place to walk. The construction site in front of the hotel is a bit confusing.
The overall impression is of quality and reliability.
CCHW0101Hotel is very new a with modern decoration and close to the trendy Hyundai Shopping Mall. I especially like the perfumes in the lift lobby. Room is normal and clean. The gym is huge and with very good equipment, almost similar scale versus Conrad hotel next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

QQiaonanxiesangniThe room was a bit small, but we, two women, were able to open both our suitcases inside. We visited Korea in the middle of winter, and the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, whether by airport shuttle or subway. Taxis were also readily available. This was super important for us Southerners who really can't handle the cold! We didn't book breakfast at the hotel, but the lobby has an A Twosome Place cafe and a GS25 convenience store, which were perfectly fine for breakfast. There are also many restaurants near the hotel, so plenty of choices. Shinsegae, Namdaemun Market, and Myeongdong are all within walking distance. If we hadn't visited Seoul in winter, we probably would have explored even more.

AA trotterOverall, a nice experience and offered good value for money. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing with a nice design throughout, and everything felt clean and well-maintained.
The main drawback for me was the location. While technically in the city center, the hotel is situated uphill, which made the walk to and from the nearest subway station, Dongguk University Station, a bit tiring. It's not a severe issue, but if you plan on relying on the subway and walking a lot, be prepared for a minor climb. Additionally, there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants, so you'll need to venture out for meals and entertainment.
The hotel boasts two swimming pools, which is great, but it's important to note that a standard hotel guest only receive free access to the indoor swimming pool. Access to the other pool and the sauna facilities is an additional charge, which was a little disappointing. On a very positive note, the gym facility is excellent.
I can't comment on the quality of the breakfast as it was not included with my room reservation. I inquired at the reception, and the price was quite high—around KRW 64,000 (USD 45) per guest—which I felt was rather expensive for a single meal.
The most significant issue affecting my comfort was the poor soundproofing. I could clearly hear guests talking next door, and conversations from people walking in the hallway were also distinctly audible. This definitely detracted from the peace and quiet one hopes for in a hotel room, especially at night.
GGuest UserHotel was fully booked, then there is not enough service capacity to deal/react. For example on Sunday morning we needed to wait for 20min to get breakfast table.
