Our stay in Shanghai was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s location on central Nanjing Road was perfect, surrounded by the energy of the city while still feeling luxurious and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The doorman warmly welcomed us, and the guest service agent immediately assisted with our luggage as we entered. Check-in was fast, smooth, and incredibly efficient, which made a wonderful first impression especially after traveling a 12 hour flight from Canada. The lobby itself was breathtaking with soaring high ceilings, elegant decor, and even a pool table that added a unique and sophisticated touch to the atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed and was very cozy. One of the standout moments of our stay was the incredible hospitality from Lewis. He personally escorted us all the way to our room, introduced all the amenities in detail, and made sure we felt completely comfortable. He even let us know we could contact him anytime if we needed assistance, which truly made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary gifts included with our stay, along with a lovely fruit platter waiting for us upon arrival, it was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, the service throughout the hotel was top notch. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Shanghai.
