I also had a room with a window that offered direct views of Shanghai's landmark buildings, which I highly recommend. Helpful staff ready to answer your questions and assist with misc little things, although a translator app is still essentially a must if you're going for elaborate inquiries. All in all a perfectly adequate option unless fairy lengthy subway rides to main attractions are absolutely not your thing.
