Manxin Hotel Hotels in Shanghai

The front desk service was excellent. We bought a lot of things online and had them delivered, and the staff were very patient and responsible in helping us find all our packages. The location is quite close to both the train station and the subway station. The only downside is that, probably because of its proximity to the train station, it can be a bit difficult to get a taxi and there might be some traffic jams. Ordering takeout was also very convenient.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering a quiet retreat despite being in a bustling area. It's incredibly convenient for both transportation and shopping. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff (both the ladies and gentlemen) provided exceptional service. Highly recommended; I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! On the night of my arrival, we encountered a severe thunderstorm. The hotel is very close to Hongqiao Xintiandi. After dinner, I was walking back from Xintiandi, about 600 meters from the hotel, when the storm hit suddenly with strong winds and heavy rain. I saw tree branches broken on both sides of the road and ducked under cover to escape the downpour. The heavy rain continued for 40 minutes without letting up. I decided to call the hotel's customer service just to try, and the staff member readily agreed to come pick me up in the rain. He was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. This was truly a satisfying business trip. Definitely five stars!

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The staff were incredibly polite and gentle, always greeting me warmly. They even offered water during check-in and provided slippers and toiletries for my child, which was a lovely touch. They also informed me about afternoon tea and the breakfast location. What's more, they proactively helped me swipe my card when my hands were full – very impressive! The room was spotless, and the bedding was clean and odorless. The bathroom was also exceptionally clean. The breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Highly recommend!

The room was tiny, even after supposedly being upgraded. There was only one chair, so the second person had to stand or sit on the edge of the bed to eat. There was also no space for luggage or bags. The most bizarre thing was that despite the room already being small, they put a bathtub *inside* the room. If they had put a small sofa or something similar where the bathtub was, all these problems could have been solved. I really don't understand this design or what they were going for. I won't be staying here again.

This hotel was a last-minute change. I had originally booked a guesthouse I really liked, but the night before my trip, I was informed that the AC was broken and they were issuing a refund, which totally caught me off guard! I frantically searched for an alternative, and although the reviews looked good, I was short on time and booked it in a rush, feeling quite anxious. The hotel is nearly an hour's drive from Hongqiao Railway Station, which was further than I expected. My child got carsick and threw up right after we got out of the car, thankfully outside. The front desk staff came out to check on us, helped with our luggage, and thoughtfully brought out some water. The lobby was very clean, and although the hotel was newly renovated, there was no noticeable smell. Check-in was quick. When they heard my child was carsick, they immediately brought out a plate of fresh fruit – very quick to respond. Then, they personally escorted us to our room. The room was spacious, and the design and decor were clearly well thought out. The shower and toilet were separated by a wall, and the door opened in a unique way. Both the sofa and the large bed were comfortable. Although the view outside was of residential white walls rather than the rice fields I had hoped for, it still had a charming, local vibe. My child immediately exclaimed how much he liked it when we entered, excitedly exploring everything in the room. Outside the room, there was a small patch of paddy fields, lush and green – a rare sight to encounter so up close. This was truly idyllic. There weren't many dining options around the hotel, but ordering takeout was very convenient. The next morning, we took the shuttle bus to Disneyland, which picked us up and dropped us off. We returned to the hotel at 10:30 PM, after a very long but enjoyable day. The hotel was so comfortable that it was a great relief after such a tiring day. The next morning, I slowly enjoyed breakfast and discovered that the mini wontons were absolutely delicious! I hadn't had a chance to try them the first day. My child, who is incredibly picky, ate two bowls. He loved all the food at the hotel. Before we left, he even packed a box of small cakes. What mom wouldn't be happy when her child is happy? Despite a minor unexpected hiccup, the hotel's quick follow-up and perfect resolution left us satisfied. Even on our high-speed train ride home, we were still eating the cake from Manxinfu and discussing our feedback and opinions with the hotel. This level of experience is truly exceptional. All in all, our two-day stay felt like a deep immersion, mainly because the hotel's culture deeply resonated with us, and they spared no effort in making it happen. My child even kept the water from Manxinfu until the very end, unable to bring himself to open it, and brought a bottle home!

This is our second stay at the Manxin Mansion in Yunjian Liangcang, and it's just as good as the first time! The most commendable aspect of this hotel is the team's genuine hospitality towards guests, which creates an excellent experience where you feel right at home and part of the family. The resident manager is incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially caring for elderly guests with great attention to detail – a huge thumbs up! I also want to mention that the hotel offers various meal packages with a rich and delicious selection of dishes!
