This hotel is perfectly functional and the price was reasonable, so I can’t complain too much. However, the rooms are incredibly small and tight, and the entire property feels like it could use a significant renewal to feel fresh again. That said, the most remarkable thing about this place is its location—it’s crammed together with the metro, the Maglev, and a massive shopping mall, all squeezed into one multifunctional super-building. I’ve never seen anything like this in any other city; the sheer convenience of having everything stacked together is an experience in itself.

It's OK. It's very close to the hospital. The room environment is OK. The service is also good. Entertainment and shopping downstairs are very convenient. The key is that the bed is very big and very soft. It's suitable for home travel. A good place to see a doctor in the hospital

This hotel is the ultimate value-for-money solution if you have an early morning flight from Pudong Airport the next day and live far away! A taxi from Jing'an to Pudong would cost over a hundred yuan, so it's much better to stay at a hotel near the airport the night before, especially since it includes airport transfers in the morning. 🥰 Our 7:45 AM international flight meant we left the hotel at 4:35 AM for the airport, and the whole process was so relaxed. The hotel shuttle dropped us directly at the airport, so there was no need to rush or worry about our travel plans. The guest rooms are also great – very clean, all with private bathrooms, and the beds are super comfortable 😌. The front desk lady was not only very attractive but also provided excellent and warm service. She even helped us figure out the best shuttle time to take. Five-star review! I'll definitely be back!

We were looking for a cheap hotel to rest & shower as our flight is at 2AM the next day so this hotel serves that purpose. Expectation: it's a BUDGET hotel (at least the cheapest with decent quality we could find that's near to metro station). Might not be suitable if you're actually looking for a truly comfortable rest because it's quite small & there is a smell every time we enter the room, but the smell disappeared after a few minutes so it's bearable for us. Cleanliness was decent, could be improved (The main floor area where you walk is clean, just the corner beside the bed is dusty). Very good water pressure, hot water inconsistent but not a huge problem for us, toilet is clean enough, no bad smell. Very close to Dapuqiao metro which is convenient.

I was a little worried when I first arrived at the hotel, because the surrounding roadside environment was a bit broken, but after I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel facilities and equipment were quite new and clean. For me to live alone, it was very good, and considering the price, This price can buy this kind of room, very good, I will consider it in the future

Hotel staffs are really friendly and helpful. They were able to check me in early (you have to ask them and only if there is a room available). It’s a 15-17 minutes walk to Zhongsan Park Station, and it connects you to the cities and airports. Neighbourhood is very safe, as a solo female traveler I feel very safe walking here. There are shopping malls, restaurants, Lawson and Family Marts, all are within walking distances. Would definitely stay here again if I am going to visit Shanghai again.

A budget hotel that meets basic accommodation needs and is clean and hygienic. I'm satisfied with the pillows and family room bed and room area, hair dryer, and TV. The only drawback is that the shower head is broken and it is recommended to fix it. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries, including toilet paper. The front desk recommended Jinshan City Beach and Fishing Village, both worth visiting, and the Jinshan Museum is also good.

It's really cheap and quite clean, mainly it's a great value for money. The front desk service is also very good. For longer stays, you can even do laundry. There's a balcony, which is a big plus. It's very convenient for business trips. It's just over a kilometer by bike from the high-speed rail station, so it's very close and convenient to get anywhere. Metro Line 1 is also about a kilometer away. Downstairs there are plenty of restaurants and a cheap, tasty fast food place.

The transportation is truly convenient, making my travels very easy. There are several large shopping malls nearby, offering plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel staff were very patient, telling us about good places to shop and eat. The room was very nice, and the facilities were complete. Considering the price in Shanghai, it's very reasonable. This trip to Shanghai was very enjoyable, and I would definitely choose Pudding Hotel again if I had the chance; it offers great value for money.
