"Great place so nicely decorated and lovely area. Comfy beds and nice setting. Must have a car as quite out of the way and minimal restaurants out of season but they were good restaurants. Very good value"

📍 Grgurići 100, Slano

"A lovely modern hotel set in a beautiful idyllic location and within a 30 minute walk to Slano. There is a lovely walk along a coastal path leading from the hotel to the village. There are ample of bikes available at the hotel. The free use of pedaloes, kayaks, paddleboards was an added bonus. The pool area attendant worked very hard and patrolled the waterfront, doing his best to keep guests safe. The sunbeds have no cushions but the shop at the hotel sell them costing €18 and a must. The rooms were modern, spotless and aircon was perfect ( v quiet). The restaurant was never overcrowded and the food was fresh with ample of choice. All the staff are friendly and work very hard. Overall, we had a relaxing holiday. Will definitely return to Hotel Osmine."

📍 Trg Ruđera Boškovića, Slano

"Just returned from an 8 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Hotel is spotlessly clean and atmosphere is very relaxed. It is spread over 3 floors and in a quiet location in Slano. The staff at the front desk and main restaurant were all really friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Maria on the front desk who was especially helpful. If your looking for a quiet, peaceful location to stay with the luxury that this hotel offers, then I highly recommend it. The beachfront location is amazing and I really loved the fact that you can eat outside in the main restaurant overlooking the sea. The adriatic sea was warm to swim in and I used the outdoor pool (its huge!) and indoor pool and spa. Also special mention to Daniel who runs the spa wellness centre - we had amazing massage treatments from his team. The food in main restaurant was buffet style but there was always something you could eat. Here are my top tips: Location - The hotel is in Slano - a small town. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance so bear this in mind if your booking bed and breakfast only. We stayed half board. We hired a car and were able to park on the outskirts of Dubrovnik and walk into Old Town. Excursions - we did an excursion around the Elaphiti islands from Slano harbour, 5 mins walk from the hotel. The hotel also runs excursions. You can also visit the town of 'Ston' which is a 20 minute drive from the hotel. It is a nice secluded area with walls you can walk up to and around. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the hotel admiral grand hotel and would highly recommend it."

Apartments Villa Riva ★★★★
"We had a fantastic stay here, it was perfect!! Very spacious apartments and beautifully clean. Helpful and welcoming staff and in a lovely location. The pool was beautiful we had it to ourselves on many occasions, a very relaxing and calm atmosphere. I slept on a pull out bed as we went as a family and it was so comfortable!! The air con was so nice to have too and made us comfortable in the hot weather. We loved it here and I hope to come back In the future. The only thing that may be useful is a toaster in the room. "

Hotel Osmine ★★★★
"Wow, we've just finished a 7 day family break at Hotel Osimine. This is going to be a hard one to beat! Location: Absolutely stunning. You literally can't get better than this beautiful little lagoon. Crystal clear water, rolling hills, very tranquil. A private beach?! What could be better. Free pedalos, kayaks and paddle boards mean you can explore the water. Grab a snorkel and have a swim with the fish! Hotel: Immaculately clean, I saw cleaning colleagues out all day making sure the place was clean and tidy. The rooms are okay, I wish we had got a family suite or adjoining room as is it was but cramped for the four of us. But the balcony even with the 'partial sea view' was lovely. The sea is just blocked a little by the tree line. The staff were so lovely. Always on hand to help, the chap who does the pool and beach area always very helpful as were the bar staff. The gentleman in the main bar remembered us and our drinks order by the end of the holiday. If you try a bit of Croatian they are always happy to teach you. You never have to race for a sunbed, no morning queues. We always found a nice place to sit by the pool or beach. Food: Freshly cooked meat and veg dishes. We traveled with a vegetarian who found the vegi options a bit hit and miss. Some evenings they were delicious (roasted aubergine with mozzarella, garlicky corgette!) and a few evenings just plain gnocchi or pasta. If your kids or even the adults like familiar foods I think you would struggle here. Not a chicken nugget, burger or pizza in sight. Instead it's fresh fish, meat and veg with a varied salad bar and deserts. The beer is a bit like Carling and the wine is... just about drinkable! Things to consider: The whole place is cash only. Even the boat trips which is a lot of cash we aren't used to carrying. The pool is quite small and salt water. This wasn't an issue for us but if you want a big pool this place isn't for you. The nearest town is tiny and a 40 minute walk/ 15 minute bike ride away. Bikes are free but if you want to wander places, there isn't anywhere nearby. Overall a fantastic holiday with a very chilled out vibe. Would recommend"

"We had a brilliant week at the Admiral Grand, food excellent, spotlessly clean, comfortable and good sized bedrooms, very relaxing, no evening entertainment apart from a live singer one evening at dinner time which was excellent, and a pianist one evening which was perfect as we don’t enjoy noisy rubbish entertainment, if you like a noisy hotel with kids running around and kids clubs this isn’t for you, this was the most relaxing holiday I’ve had, Croatia is a stunning country, if I had to have a moan I’d say that just 2 sachets of coffee per room per stay and no table water at dinner is a bit mean, so hopefully the hotel can correct this, would definitely return to the Admiral Grand💙"
