--- **First Impressions & Room** Upon arrival, the hotel makes a great first impression—bright, airy, and impeccably clean. Our room on the 4th floor offered a stunning view of the bay from the balcony, which was a highlight of our stay. **Bar & Staff** The staff in the bar area were consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well looked after. **Restaurant** The dining experience, however, was mixed. The system for evening meals is confusing, with unclear guidance on choosing between the buffet and à la carte options. Unfortunately, the maitre d’ was unhelpful and quite surly, a sentiment echoed by others. While the bar staff were fantastic, the restaurant staff lacked the same warmth and hospitality. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of variety. However, the evening meals were disappointing. Despite being labeled as Italian cuisine, the quality didn’t live up to expectations. At 35 Euros per meal, I would have expected something far better. It simply didn’t feel like good value. Additionally, it was frustrating that tap water wasn’t available, and guests were required to purchase bottled water for 3 Euros each time. **Pool & Facilities** The swimming pool and surrounding area were fantastic, offering breathtaking views and a good number of sun beds to accommodate guests. The pool size was more than adequate for a relaxing swim. **Shuttle Service** The shuttle service to Sorrento town was incredibly convenient, and we made good use of it. The only downside was the lengthy gap between services from after 1pm to 4:30pm (first pm pick up from Sorrento) which could be inconvenient for some. **Overall** Overall, this is a lovely hotel with beautiful views and friendly bar staff, but it falls short in the dining experience. If the restaurant quality improved, this would be an exceptional place to stay.
