MM428749****Revisiting Chuxin Homestay was just as delightful as the first time! This time, I chose the Early Summer King Room, which was absolutely fantastic. It's spacious and even comes with a mahjong table, offering distant views of the mountains. Every photo I took was stunning, no filter needed! The service and cleanliness were, once again, impeccable. Staying for three nights, the room was cleaned spotless every single day. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and I slept incredibly sound and deep each night. It felt just like the comfort of home, instantly curing all my travel fatigue. The location is simply unbeatable. It's super convenient for dining and shopping nearby; you can walk to authentic Yangshuo-style farmhouse restaurants. Getting to tourist spots is also quick and hassle-free. The biggest surprise, though, was Fa Cai, the adorable and well-behaved pet at the homestay. He's so affectionate, and I'd spend ages petting him every time I passed by – he instantly brightened my mood. I've already added this place to my top must-stay list for Yangshuo. I'll definitely choose Chuxin again next time. It's a perfect score for both value for money and the overall experience. You can book with confidence; you won't be disappointed! ✨

GGuest UserThis guest house left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the good things. The location is super convenient: right in the old town and yet in a relatively quiet area. It's close to the river so you can take a refreshing night stroll, and close to a delicious bakery/café you'll never forget. The atmosphere of the guest house is rustic and cozy, with a laundry room that, despite its very limited space, serves the purpose. There are also cats and a dog you can freely play with. The bed was comfortable for us (a bit on the harder side). The owners speak English so you can easily communicate with them. They are very kind and helpful. However, a few things about this stay got me extremely disappointed, particularly taking into consideration the positive reviews I had read (which honestly I don't understand where they came from). The room was far from clean. There was a very visible layer of dust. The cushion seats had huge stains and looked dirty overall. The shower room did not get cleaned very regularly, as you can see from the picture. In general everything in the property looked outdated and cheap (wobbly sink taps, doors with huge gaps, that give way to all sorts of bugs and giant spiders..). The fact that the toilet is next to the shower room leaves no room for privacy and makes the toilet floor wet most of the time (this could be solved with a proper shower door instead of a curtain). In conclusion, I was more than happy to leave the property because it did not meet my standards for comfort and hygiene. However, if you don't particularly care about a certain degree of dirt and dust here and there, and are cool with bugs, then you should definitely go for it as you might really like the retro atmosphere of the place.

LLinlinhepengpengThis guesthouse is nestled in the innermost part of Jiwo Du Village, east of Gongnong Bridge. Unlike many of the 'influencer' guesthouses along the way, which often feature concrete frames, floor-to-ceiling glass, and rooftop pools, this one truly stands out. It consists of two old houses thoughtfully renovated from their original rammed earth structures, complemented by a newly built restaurant in the backyard. Both the architectural design and interior decor exude a wonderfully warm ambiance. The renovation of this guesthouse masterfully blends the old and the new. There's a brilliant interplay between old and new spaces, a harmonious combination of old and new materials, and a complementary arrangement of old and new objects. It feels very cohesive and well-designed. The two houses were even renovated using different methods and approaches, which was fascinating to learn about after the owner's detailed explanation. It really showed how different user perspectives and methods can lead to such varied outcomes. While the rooms may not offer the 'influencer guesthouse' thrill of gazing at mountains through glass, they provide a richer sense of history and comfort. The incredibly generous and thoughtful breakfast prepared by the hostess was the icing on the cake. A truly wonderful experience.

The B&B is located between the scenic area and the ancient town. A 20-yuan walk to the scenic area takes 4 minutes, and a 4-minute walk to the ancient town takes 5-star 5. Guilin's landscapes are the best in the world. Yangshuo's landscapes are the best in Guilin. The most beautiful scenery is in Xingping [Qiang] [Qiang] 5-star 6. Traveling here is like walking through a painting. 5-star

CCWaiIt's a great place to stay as every morning will be like god's descended down to earth and blessed the lands surrounding you. Waking up every morning, accending up the roof to take in this prestine beauty and be surrounded these beautiful mountain pillars is a blessing. This you can do every single morning at this hostel and much more. Also the staff are friendly and so very much helpful, they make the community so accessible to us forgeiners. They help you with all of the information you might need, such as food, bikes, drinks. You'll definitely know how to get around at the end of your stay. The lobby is like a living room where you meet other like minded people and where you can feel like you have a big extended family, that don't speak the same language, but share the same passions for traveling. There is also a extensive amount of books you can use that is about a whole range of topics. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The size for the price was the first thing that suprised me. That alone would make it worth it, but also the bed is large, the bathrooms are also sizable, WiFi is fast and easy to access, the TV screen is enormous. All in all I would highly recommend this place for people who would like to be surrounded by prestine nature, have easy access to city center, easy access to great food. This place is great for people who love connecting to a community but also good for people who just want enjoy their own company.

YYILThe staff took such good care of us, with tea always available and delicious meals planned around our schedules. The owner offered to pick us up locally or take us on hikes if they were free. The room was itself warm and clean. And the location, high up in the hills, was breathtaking. It is a bit remote though, so it’s a good idea to discuss transportation with the owner ahead of time. If you’re adventurous, there’s a trail up to DaMian Mountain directly next to the place. There’s also an easier hike through citrus orchards that follows the river. Bonus was the cute and friendly dog that loved getting pets and would guide you along trails!

GGuest UserYangshuo in the off-season is less crowded and more quiet. I took the cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, and I saw the small Chiang Mai house when I got off the boat, which is very close to Longtoushan Pier. It is very recommended that you live here, and you have to drag your luggage to walk to West Street. It is not far from West Street, and it is quieter. It is especially convenient after renting a battery car. The homestay is clean and tidy, the decoration is elegant, the boss is a hospitable and clean and tidy person, enthusiastically helping us ride the Amway route. The store provides a battery car rental service, the price is reasonable, and it is more cost-effective than renting near the bus station outside. The comfort of living is really a plus for the journey. The photo has been not exported in the camera, so I postponed the comment. I really appreciate the boss ～ Shun wish life smooth, business is booming ～

Jjuney22The hotel is sandwiched between a restaurant and a retail shop. Its very noisy as there are many shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. Every day there's loud music till late at night. The room is spacious and overall clean. However, there's no elevator and you have to either drag your luggage up the stairs or get the hotel staff to help you. Plus you need to drag your luggage for 10mins to catch your didi from the main road. The restaurant next to the hotel has 10% discount and their beer battered fish was very yummy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

JJ NoI had a pretty comfortable stay here. The front desk was very friendly, could speak English, and helpful to me in recommending restaurants to find food and giving me some information on how to do local activities. I really appreciate it. The hotel room was very basic, no TV or special lighting or anything like that. I think it could definitely use a lamp or something in the room to make it more cozy because that ceiling lighting is so harsh on my eyes. My room didn't have a bathroom attached so I used the shared bathroom. I think I missed the information where the front desk person might have said I could use the downstairs showers as well as 4th floor showers. But I only used the fourth floor shower and toilet and it was rough, hair on the ground, and the shower flooded because the drain was clogged and curtain was moldy. But when I went downstairs when I checked out and I saw the other showers and toilet was quite clean! Personally I think they should all be clean and well taken care of. But, next time I would use first floor showers. Otherwise, The view on the roof is incredible!! And the restaurant food is really good too. Vegan options available as well. Unfortunately some guests who came to check in quite late were really thoughtless and were banging on a door for 2 hrs at 3am and 4am. IDK why!! But I couldn't sleep well because of this because the walls are paper thin. Not really the hotel's fault, but the walls have no sound proofing because the building is very old, but the staff also didn't try to make up for it, even though I told them what happened and asked for help with the matter at the time it was also happening. Minus a point for that. But otherwise, it was a pretty good stay. I think the rooftop view, the restaurant and the affordable price is reason enough to come back but if I were you I would bring ear plugs.

The location was absolutely perfect – really close to West Street, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. It was super convenient for exploring and dining, and yet wonderfully peaceful when we returned. The owner was incredibly gentle and patient, providing amazing service and being very nice👍, with prompt replies to everything. The guesthouse itself was decorated in a warm, simple, and tidy style. It even had a large balcony where we could enjoy the stunning Li River scenery while having breakfast in the morning – truly atmospheric. It felt less like staying at a guesthouse and more like visiting a friend's home. Next time I'm in Yangshuo, I'll definitely choose this place again. Highly recommend! 😘
