📍Yangshuo – So 'city' staying inside the 20 RMB banknote with the kids! Ever since I became a mom, traveling has been all about avoiding hassle. This time, I brought my one-year-old to Yangshuo and discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Xingping Ancient Town – Li Hua Chen's Garden. It was so worry-free, I nearly cried tears of joy! @Yangshuo Chen's Garden Resort Hotel 📍Perfect Location, No Stress with Kids The guesthouse is right in the core scenic area where the 20 RMB banknote backdrop is, built alongside the river, directly facing the Li River. A few steps downstairs take you to the bamboo raft boarding point, and exploring Xingping Ancient Town is super convenient. Open the window, and you're greeted by the picturesque Li River landscape. We could enjoy the mountains and rivers from our room with the baby, avoiding the crowds. 🏠Comfortable Room, Perfect Details The room came equipped with a Dyson hairdryer and a smart toilet. The mattress was a King Koil, and the pillows were white goose down – incredibly comfortable. There was also a clean, dreamy bathtub with milk bath salts. After the baby was asleep, I could soak in the tub and enjoy the mountain view, letting all the fatigue melt away! 📸Sky Mirror, Instant Blockbuster Shots The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor is a must-visit spot! The reflections of the mountains and rivers are as beautiful as a fairyland, making every shot a masterpiece. There's also a pool and garden on the first floor, and the baby had a blast playing in the yard. 💁♀️Attentive Service, Like Coming Home The service was absolutely impeccable! Not only did they offer free breakfast and afternoon tea, but also thoughtful late-night snacks. The staff were incredibly patient with my baby. They even brought me a pot of tea when they saw me organizing photos, and sent us off warmly when we checked out. Choosing the right accommodation is so crucial when traveling with kids, and this place is definitely the ultimate family-friendly spot in Yangshuo! While the baby is still young, let's show him more of this world 🌿

The best decision I made on this trip to Yangshuo was staying at Su She. From the moment I got out of the car and they helped with my luggage, I could feel the attentive, butler-style service. The front desk lady was incredibly sweet; she not only helped me plan my itinerary but also recommended some amazing local restaurants – absolutely no duds! The welcome fruit upon check-in and the sweet soup at night were really a nice touch, making me feel right at home. The guesthouse's location is perfect – quiet yet convenient for getting around, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Next time I bring my family, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The guesthouse boasts a prime location, overlooking the Ten-Mile Gallery and with the Yulong River nearby. Renting an electric scooter allows for a leisurely stroll through the scenic landscape. The rooftop view rivals that of the scenic area, featuring a ”sky mirror” effect perfect for photos, and a swimming pool in the courtyard on hot days. My room was charmingly antique, offering breathtaking views of the Ten-Mile Gallery. A unique wooden bathtub stood by the window, perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the panoramic vistas – a truly idyllic experience in Yangshuo. The owner personally wrote a guide to exploring the Yulong River, a helpful tip for those who don't enjoy planning. The owner's wife's cooking was superb; the hot noodle soup in the morning was incredibly comforting, and the handmade wild vegetable dumplings at lunchtime were exceptionally delicious. The auntie, a local, warmly shared local cultural experiences with me during our chat. She even insisted on seeing me off to my car. Highly recommended! Staying here wasn't just about the guesthouse; it was about creating a warm and memorable experience.

Since it was the off-season, there were fewer tourists, and some guesthouses nearby had closed down. However, Xianyunju was still doing good business, and the staff's enthusiasm for service didn't wane. They proactively contacted us early to discuss transportation to the hotel and activity arrangements. Upon arrival, they even thoughtfully upgraded our room. The bay window in this room was absolutely amazing, though I regret forgetting to take a picture... Even though fishing and other activities couldn't be arranged during the dry season, the cobblestones in the riverbed were exposed, and we had a great time skipping stones for a whole morning. I highly recommend this for tourists from areas where fireworks are restricted – you can really let loose here, as local fireworks are affordable and come in many varieties, likely because it's a production area. A special thank you to the hotel owner for personally arranging the ancient temple hiking and exploration activity. The kids absolutely loved it!

This guesthouse was so healing! Right outside the door were vast fields of rapeseed flowers, which the host told me they planted themselves, one by one. The room balcony offered views of both the mountains and the river, and the whole place was stylishly decorated with solid wood. In winter, they light the fireplace morning and evening, creating a wonderful ambiance. The breakfast was incredibly delicious too. I'll definitely come back again!

The hotel is wonderful, with the best service from all staff members. In particular, Ms Zhang, the General Manager, Ms Sunny and Ms Seven, and others but I did not manage to get their names. They were incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived in Yangshuo, helping us book shows and visits, amongst many other things. The room itself is spacious, with a stunning view of the mountains and the lake. Well equipped as well, even with a Dyson hairdryer! We also loved the cats in the hotel lobby.

This is one of the best-located hotels I've stayed in during my seven or eight visits to Yangshuo. It's directly facing the Yulong River and the karst peaks, and every room has a view. The rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning for sunset. During the day, no motorized vehicles are allowed into the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, so it's incredibly quiet. Renting an e-scooter makes it really convenient to visit attractions like the Big Banyan Tree and Moon Hill. The amenities are top-notch; the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, and the bedding is very comfortable. I had a very satisfying stay.

The hotel is right at the entrance of West Street, making its location super convenient. It's a very new hotel, with parking available downstairs. From the balcony, you can look down directly onto West Street. It's the perfect choice for a few days of relaxing, eating, shopping, and family fun.

Before booking, I was a bit worried because the weather forecast predicted rain, but after checking in, I realized that traveling during the off-season was an amazing experience! Having the place practically to ourselves was an indescribable feeling! Even though there weren't many guests, all the facilities were fully operational: the courtyard, pool, lounge chairs, open-air cinema and bonfire, the slide roof, and even the stargazing room... absolutely everything was open! The hotel didn't cut any corners or skip any experiences just because of the rain or the low occupancy. From picking us up at Yangshuo High-Speed Rail Station to packing us breakfast when we had to rush off the next morning, the service was absolutely top-notch. It's a shame that the weather wasn't on our side this trip, as it rained constantly, so I didn't get to see Guilin in its sunny glory. I'll definitely come back next time, on a clear day, and bring my parents to stay at Yunlu – I'm sure they'll love it too.

This hotel is located right in the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area, only a 5-minute drive from the highway, which is incredibly convenient. We stayed in a family room, which was a two-story loft. Upstairs, there were two large beds separated by a partition, and the ceiling featured a clear glass window with a curtain. On clear days, you could open the curtain and stargaze. The room also came with an outdoor hot tub. While not true hot spring water, soaking in it and admiring the distant, picturesque mountains was quite delightful. The hotel's service was excellent. On our first night, it was almost midnight, and we wanted to use the hot tub. A staff member promptly came to clean it and fill it for us. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was clean and delicious. Both the dry-tossed noodles and soup noodles were unique and worth trying. The plain congee was so soft and sticky, I even wanted to buy some rice to take home. The afternoon tea offered persimmons, peanuts, and luo han guo tea. Initially, I didn't notice the persimmons were available here, and I bought them from a nearby persimmon orchard for 10 yuan a pound, only to find them for 2.5 yuan a pound in town another day! Supper ended at 11 PM, with different options daily like dumplings, rice noodles, and mung bean porridge. On our last day, we checked out late due to traffic jams in the scenic area, and the staff were very understanding. Next door was a restaurant with delicious kiln-roasted chicken. Overall, the hotel offers convenient dining, accommodation, and transportation, a first-class environment, and thoughtful service.
