XXihuanzhuzhu_2008Although I had a minor issue before checking in, I was so glad I chose this hotel after staying there. First and foremost, the location is excellent, which is incredibly important. It was a national holiday (May Day), so the crowds were insane. We wanted to go rafting but saw a two-hour-plus queue. The next day, we ate breakfast at the hotel and then went straight to the raft, skipping the entire line because we were early. It was fantastic! All the hotel services were great, very satisfying, and the Guilin rice noodles at breakfast were delicious. The bedding was superb; I slept very comfortably, and the room was spacious. There's also a great spot on the hotel rooftop for photos. Plus, the hotel offers a shuttle service, which was amazing – it saved us so much effort and made our trip so much more convenient. So, definitely a full score!

RRenxiujingCrystalThe B&B's location is fantastic, making it super convenient to get around. Our room faced the mountains directly, offering immersive views whether it was the lush green scenery on a sunny day or the misty, ethereal landscape when it rained. The bathtub was clean and spacious, and having the toilet and shower separate was a great convenience. Breakfast was plentiful, featuring homemade rice noodles that were truly delicious 😋. The B&B itself was in a quiet spot, very close to the bamboo raft boarding point, with plenty of restaurants nearby and easy access to taxis. It was clean and tidy, and the service was incredibly thoughtful; they answered all our questions enthusiastically. It was an incredibly healing and wonderful stay!

GGuest UserThis was the best hotel experience we've had in Yangshuo! We're a family of three, and they kindly upgraded us to a suite upon arrival. The room was spacious, and while we couldn't see the Yulong River, the view was still lovely. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety too. A special shout-out to the front desk receptionist, a slender sister, who was smiling throughout our stay, making us feel incredibly welcome. The travel photography service was also great, and they even gave a gift to our child when we checked out. We'll definitely be back!

JJessica812Hidden amidst the stunning scenery of the Ten-Mile Gallery, Yue Shu is an enchanting hotel that truly lets you live within the landscape! We stayed in a private villa with its own hot spring tub, and the butler service was incredibly attentive. The afternoon tea and late-night snacks were plentiful and delicious. With picturesque views right outside our window, we honestly didn't want to check out! The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, which turned out great, and the photographer's service was excellent.

SSportsfreundchenWe loved our stay here. The communication beforehand was a bit tricky via email - so the easiest way is to use WeChat instead. But when we arrived, we had a wonderful few days. We got picked up at the train station in Guilin. Shoutout to the friendly staff at the lodge, especially Cherry and Sally who were always kind and attentive. We can recommend to get a scooter or a bike and explore the village. Especially around public holidays there is lots of traffic, so travelling by car can take a long time. Try out the massage or the cooking class offered by the hotel. Communication in English was always very easy compared to other places in China. Payment with Visa Card is also possible at the lodge.

CcessiegurlwunderI specifically picked this hotel as I was attracted by the view from the room. The hotel room turns out to be at another building within 2-3 minutes walk from the main hotel. The staff took initiative to inform me in advance on where to navigate to prior to my arrival. Also as I had some Taobao deliveries sent in advance, they also made sure my delivery items were placed in my room for my convenience.
The room has an excellent view of the Shi Li Hua Lang and on my last night of stay (Friday), i even saw fireworks from a distance.
The complimentary breakfast of either western or Chinese style; also came with a small buffet selection. I personally preferred the Chinese style. They also provided one complimentary welcome fruits (with canned drinks in the fridge) as well as one complimentary afternoon tea (two beverage and two dessert) during my stay. The staff kindly sent the afternoon tea over to our room for us to enjoy. There were also other complimentary activities which we did not join as we primarily wanted to just enjoy time seeing the view from our room.
I love the room for its design and it was kept very clean and well maintained. The staff on premise were very friendly and my favorite part was the cats on the premise who enjoyed getting pets and treats from me. There was also a grand piano at my hotel lobby, and i got to play on it.
The hotel also tied up with Ethan Photography for a complimentary photoshoot with costumes and 3 free photos. We booked a session and decided to top up for make up services plus extra photos. I have to compliment the make up artist who was very efficient and has great make up skills. All my friends who saw my photos said I look good in them. All in all, it was a great photography experience as they went the extra mile to bring us to nice scenic spots around the hotel vicinity. The service staff was not pushy at all and took time to share what packages were available. My mum and I settled on a package that we felt was reasonable and we received all the beautifully edited digital photos on the next day morning.

GGuest UserFirstly the location is spectacular, which is the main reason we booked. The view from the room was really beautiful and it was easy enough to get to the old town by boat. Secondly the owner was so lovely and helpful and helped us organise many activities, and even accompanied us on a few. The staff are very responsive and helpful on wechat and helped us organise activities and meals. The dog was also a big highlight for our kids, especially my daughter who even cried about leaving him. The terrace is lovely too and has an amazing view. The meals cooked for us were very nice, and breakfast was adequate. The room is ok, a bit basic but met our needs. The only complaint I have is that the rooms are not sound proof, and therefore you hear every sound in the corridor and stairs. We travelled with young children who go to bed early and they struggled to fall asleep with the noise of kids running, playing and screaming in the hallway. It may not be an issue for those going to sleep later, but for us it was tough. The staff however did respond to our feedback and asked the kids to be quiet, but you do still hear people moving around outside. Overall I would recommend.

There are some complimentary activities, like practicing Baduanjin (Eight-Duan Brocade) with a teacher in the morning, and a 20-minute couple's Five-Element tea therapy session. The facilities, cleanliness, and environment are all excellent. In the evening, the Yao ethnic medicinal liquid packets (for herbal baths) are great for both foot soaks and full baths. The scenery here is beautiful, and the lotus pond is particularly lovely. Staying at this guesthouse truly relaxes both body and mind.

AAnonymous UserGreat location. It's located at the start of West street. We arrived during the Qingming festival and street was really busy. The lady at reception tried her best to find us a transport however either there was really a shortage on cars or all occupied. Our room was just right size for the family of 4, it has little balcony. It started to show it's wear but still acceptable.

XXianglachenpiI was pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a garden room. The room was clean and tidy. The village retains both traditional elements and modern design. I loved the pool and restaurant. The pool is shaded, so I'm not afraid of the sun. The surrounding banana leaves create a particularly elegant backdrop. Just taking a dip felt like a relaxing vacation. The restaurant's food was above and beyond what you'd find at a typical B&B. The outdoor movie was also very enjoyable. The service was excellent. Every staff member greeted me warmly and offered their services proactively. I'd definitely stay there again.
