"Sugar House was one of the highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen somewhere special. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending contemporary luxury with its historic surroundings in a way that feels both unique and peaceful. Our room was spacious, stylish and extremely comfortable, with stunning views over the karst landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Yangshuo. The food was outstanding throughout our stay. Breakfast offered a great selection of both Chinese and Western options, and every meal we had at the hotel restaurant was beautifully prepared using excellent local ingredients. Everything was consistently excellent and a real highlight of our stay. What really elevated our experience, however, was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely eager to help. They assisted us in arranging transport and offered excellent recommendations for exploring the surrounding area, making everything effortless. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and secluded, yet within easy reach of Yangshuo’s incredible scenery. We spent the day rafting on the Yulong River, visiting Fuli Bridge, Moon Hill and Xingping, before returning to relax by the beautiful riverside pool each evening. It was the ideal balance of adventure and tranquillity. Sugar House is much more than a luxury hotel; it is a destination in its own right. We left wishing we had booked an extra night and would not hesitate to return. It is a truly exceptional place that we will remember for a very long time."

"This time, I stayed in a suite villa with four kids, and the overall experience was perfect! The room was spacious and comfortable, and all the facilities were well-equipped and easy to use, making for a very pleasant stay. The local weather was hot, but the hotel breakfast had a rich variety of options, satisfying the different tastes of our whole family. I must give a special shout-out to our butler, Teresa. Her service was thoughtful and attentive; she was available 24/7 and always put the guests' needs first. During our stay, she proactively greeted us every day, took great care of the children, and even came to see us off at checkout. Her meticulous care throughout made us feel incredibly warm. The hotel's overall atmosphere was comfortable, and it's an excellent choice for families traveling with children. We had no complaints whatsoever throughout our entire stay. Next time we have the chance, I will definitely bring my parents back for a vacation. I sincerely recommend it to anyone planning to visit Yangshuo!"

"Hidden deep within the Ten-Mile Gallery, this hotel completely isolates itself from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The sense of escapism, in my opinion, is almost comparable to the Lux* Chongzuo, making for a truly satisfying vacation. As a well-established luxury brand originating from Indonesia, it's impressive how it has rooted itself amidst the natural beauty of Yangshuo while still deeply preserving its Indonesian heritage. For instance, the breakfast features an Indonesian-style set menu, all freshly prepared à la carte. The guest room walls are adorned with traditional Balinese Ubud Batik wax paintings. During turndown service at night, candles are lit to warm aromatic essential oils, replicating the local Balinese pre-sleep ritual. The pool is paved with unique Indonesian stone, appearing grey when dry but revealing a beautiful blue-green hue when submerged in water. The hotel's service and quality are exceptional: the butler's WhatsApp replies were prompt, and despite the high greenery coverage, I wasn't bitten by a single mosquito during my two-day stay, indicating excellent pest control. The 450 sqm single-bedroom standalone villa is spacious, and the private pool is ample in both size and depth. Amenities include Cha Ling toiletries, a brand under LV, and the rooms are equipped with Bose speakers and Laifen hair dryers, ensuring top-notch hardware. It's rare for a hotel to maintain its original quality and standards after many years of operation, unlike many domestic hotels that gradually cut costs and downgrade after just a year or two. If you're looking for an immersive escape into nature in Yangshuo, I truly believe this place is worth a special trip. At the very least, if I get another chance to visit Yangshuo, this will still be my go-to resort for a second stay."

"I randomly picked the Seasons Cloud Hotel for my vacation in Guilin Yangshuo, and it exceeded all my expectations! It's such a peaceful retreat in the heart of the bustling town. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows in the room offer direct views of the karst peaks; you can enjoy the mountain scenery and misty clouds right from your bed. The soaking tub with a mountain view creates an incredibly atmospheric bathing experience. The entire room is spotless and has a light luxury feel, with thoughtful details and amenities. The infinity pool, a popular photo spot, is nestled among the mountains, making every picture look like it's from a luxury resort advertisement. The amenities are fantastic: check-in includes a complimentary afternoon tea, and the breakfast features freshly made, authentic Guilin rice noodles. They also have a huge kids' play area and a self-service laundry room, which is perfect for families traveling with children, allowing everyone to truly relax. The butler service is meticulous and attentive. Plus, you can rent electric bikes to explore the Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions."

"The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel's location is excellent, which is why we chose it. It's right next to Yangshuo West Street, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient, yet it manages to be quiet despite the lively surroundings. From our room, the window opened up to beautiful mountain views, which was a real treat for the eyes. It also has its own kids' playground, which made entertaining the little ones much easier. Overall, we had a very satisfying stay."

They even offer complimentary travel photography, making it perfect for a girls' trip 👭 to effortlessly capture an entire set of beautiful travel photos 🌸."

"The hotel facilities are brand new, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is all tasty and filling. There are even late-night noodles! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views. On the ground floor, there's a pool and kids' play area, so you can easily spend the whole day here just relaxing without needing to go out. When it's not too sunny, you can snap amazing photos effortlessly. There's a small gate near the pet park; turn right when you exit, and you'll find a path lined with lotus flowers. But don't look around too much right after you step out; walk about twenty or thirty meters first. There's something you shouldn't see, so remember that, remember that, remember that, remember that!"
