"🏔️😱 Don’t know how it was possible, but this hotel was even more beautiful in real life than the photos. Built inside a renovated historic sugar factory, Yangshuo Sugar House combines the refined aesthetics of the mountain landscape with historical architectural elegance. ✨ 🚙🌾 The hotel offers various free and at-cost activities you can book through their concierge. We wanted to go see the Longji Rice Steps during our stay, which is about an 2.5 hour drive away from Yangshuo by car. I messaged the hotel the day before we arrived and they were able to arrange a private driver to take us there and back over an 8 hour trip. Mr. Qin was amazing and very kind! He took us directly to buy the tickets and then drove us to the entrance point of the cable car. There was pretty extreme rain on the way back and he got us down the mountain very efficiently. It was an extremely memorable day which was only made possible by the hotel’s extraordinary attentive drivers and diligent concierge staff. ⭐️ 🍴The room comes with a daily buffet breakfast, free soft drinks, and fruit. The hotel restaurant is good, but breakfast is really where the food shines. So many delicious options to choose from, and there was adorable panda shaped buns 🐼 📸 The hotel also offers free travel photography on the premises, which takes about 30~ minutes and you receive 5 free photos, with additional available to purchase at 50 yuan. It was fun and very efficient! 🌸 Overall, a major highlight of our China trip & we wish we had stayed longer. Thank you again!"

"This is the best hotel in Yangshuo. Compared to The Sugarcane, VOCO, Hwa Peng, and Banyan Tree, it offers the best value for money. The staff are well-trained and provide genuine assistance. Even after checking out, they continued to answer all our questions about our itinerary. We stayed in the Jingxuan Villa, which was comfortably sized with excellent facilities. The nightly turndown gifts were a lovely touch. The travel photography service was also good, and the photographer had a great attitude. The entire garden landscape is beautifully maintained, and the various small animals like peacocks, geese, ducks, goldfish, and alpacas provided a wonderful and relaxing experience for guests. If you're driving, the hotel's location isn't remote at all. It's about a 20-minute drive to the Ten-Mile Gallery, and also 20 minutes to take a bamboo raft on the Yulong River. Xingping Ancient Town Pier is only half an hour away. Personally, I think it's far superior to the guesthouses near the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River – there's simply no comparison. We had a wonderful two-night, three-day stay. It left a deep impression on our trip to Yangshuo."

"Hidden deep within the Ten-Mile Gallery, this hotel completely isolates itself from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The sense of escapism, in my opinion, is almost comparable to the Lux* Chongzuo, making for a truly satisfying vacation. As a well-established luxury brand originating from Indonesia, it's impressive how it has rooted itself amidst the natural beauty of Yangshuo while still deeply preserving its Indonesian heritage. For instance, the breakfast features an Indonesian-style set menu, all freshly prepared à la carte. The guest room walls are adorned with traditional Balinese Ubud Batik wax paintings. During turndown service at night, candles are lit to warm aromatic essential oils, replicating the local Balinese pre-sleep ritual. The pool is paved with unique Indonesian stone, appearing grey when dry but revealing a beautiful blue-green hue when submerged in water. The hotel's service and quality are exceptional: the butler's WhatsApp replies were prompt, and despite the high greenery coverage, I wasn't bitten by a single mosquito during my two-day stay, indicating excellent pest control. The 450 sqm single-bedroom standalone villa is spacious, and the private pool is ample in both size and depth. Amenities include Cha Ling toiletries, a brand under LV, and the rooms are equipped with Bose speakers and Laifen hair dryers, ensuring top-notch hardware. It's rare for a hotel to maintain its original quality and standards after many years of operation, unlike many domestic hotels that gradually cut costs and downgrade after just a year or two. If you're looking for an immersive escape into nature in Yangshuo, I truly believe this place is worth a special trip. At the very least, if I get another chance to visit Yangshuo, this will still be my go-to resort for a second stay."

"The hotel's location is excellent, with great views and perfect for photos. We booked a room with a pool, which was ideal for kids to swim and play. The butler service was very attentive, and the hotel also offers free laundry and drying services, which was really convenient."

"This hotel is absolutely stunning and perfect for a family vacation with kids. With mountains as a backdrop and the pool reflecting like a mirror, every photo you take is picture-perfect, no filter needed. The scenery is equally beautiful during the day and night. The two pools kept the kids entertained for hours. The rice noodles at breakfast were especially delicious, and the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes that cater to everyone's taste, making it very friendly for those who don't eat spicy food. The butler was always online and responded incredibly fast. For families traveling with both young children and seniors, this kind of responsive service is truly invaluable."

"The hotel's location is super convenient; tour buses can pull right up, and Chunjishao'e (a famous roast goose restaurant) is just outside the door. Lively West Street is right across the road, bustling but not noisy. The bed was really comfortable, and the well-equipped laundry room was a huge plus for a long trip. The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch, and it was so relaxing to watch the rain and mountains from the hotel during a heavy downpour."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again."

"The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee."

"The hotel facilities are brand new, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning. The staff are friendly, and while the breakfast selection isn't huge, the food is all tasty and filling. There are even late-night noodles! The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views. On the ground floor, there's a pool and kids' play area, so you can easily spend the whole day here just relaxing without needing to go out. When it's not too sunny, you can snap amazing photos effortlessly. There's a small gate near the pet park; turn right when you exit, and you'll find a path lined with lotus flowers. But don't look around too much right after you step out; walk about twenty or thirty meters first. There's something you shouldn't see, so remember that, remember that, remember that, remember that!"

"My classmate stayed here last month and recommended it. It truly offers great value for money. The hotel itself has a rich array of facilities and entertainment options, including a swimming pool, a large lawn, a small petting zoo, parking, a laundry room, and a bathroom with a dry/wet separation – everything you could ask for. Our booking package also included animal feeding, travel photography, afternoon tea at the scenic restaurant, kite flying, fishing, and more. At the end of the large lawn is the Yulong River, and bamboo rafts occasionally pass by comprehensive docks (a bonus: we personally tested and negotiated with a rafter, and there’s a chance to disembark directly onto the large lawn near the hotel). The panoramic restaurant on the top floor is incredibly photogenic, with beautiful mountains and rivers, plush teddy bears, and swings – very satisfying. It's rare to find a restaurant that stands out with its hardware and layout while also maintaining high culinary standards. We got a basic set meal with beer fish, and every single dish was delicious. What a dream place! As for drawbacks, my family of four was split 2-2 on whether to mention them, but I will. We couldn't quite figure out how to properly use the washing machine; in the sterilization mode, the lettering on my son's windbreaker and Manchester City T-shirt washed off (as an Arsenal fan, I feel for him 🐶). Also, for friends like us with a limited budget who didn't book a room facing the large lawn and swimming pool, opting for the more affordable family room instead, there's a slight gradient between the floor around the bathtub and the main room floor. This made it easy to trip near the bathtub. Our family of four stumbled four times over our three-day, two-night stay, hahaha! But thankfully, the slope is minor, so it was just a stumble, not a fall. Minor flaws aside, it was a perfect trip to Yangshuo, and we'll choose this place again next time. Oh, and a funny anecdote: when feeding the animals, there was a grey sheep that was incredibly smart and a super aggressive eater. It fearlessly snatched food from deer and alpacas that were much taller than it, and effortlessly bullied smaller sheep. It was so quick, it would open its mouth and snatch carrots right out of other animals' mouths. To ensure the other hungry little lambs got some food, I had my two kids work together: one distracted the grey sheep, and the other fed the other lambs. After a few attempts, the grey sheep caught on and even let out a long sigh – this was the biggest winner-take-all eater on the whole farm!"
