"The environment at The Sugar House is absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. The hotel activities are also excellent; I tried both the complimentary morning yoga and Tai Chi classes every day, and the instructors were fantastic. The included travel photography session was also great, with a very natural style. I also have to praise the hotel restaurants – both the food and the ambiance are superb. Whether it was Chinese cuisine, Western dishes, or casual meals, everything was well-prepared. We also tried the hotel's paid activity, the Via Ferrata, which was a lot of fun! My only minor complaint is that it was too short and didn't last long enough. The only real downside was actually the room. Given that it's nearly 10 years old, it felt a bit dated, and the decor style was a bit outmoded. BUT! Overall, I'm very satisfied and would definitely choose this hotel again!!"

"A huge thank you to Nora! Her service-mindedness truly shone through; she proactively met our reasonable requests, communicated patiently, and worked very efficiently. This made our stay incredibly enjoyable and left us with a fantastic experience. The hotel environment is lovely, and during our stay, we really felt the local charm and a comfortable atmosphere. The dining was exquisite. What's more, they offer various animal feeding activities, which were full of childlike wonder and a hit with both kids and adults alike. We also tried the bamboo raft drifting from the hotel's private pier this time, which was very Guilin-esque! It was wonderful! We'll definitely be back to relax amidst the mountains and rivers again!"

"An absolutely amazing hotel! Before I went, I saw the opening year and was worried the hotel might be too old, since I usually only stay in luxury hotels that opened within the last four or five years. I even called the hotel to confirm. They said it opened in 2019. I really wanted to visit Guilin but couldn't find any suitable hotels, so I booked this one. The actual stay far exceeded my expectations! Each room is a villa with a large private pool. Getting around is easy with electric buggies that are available on call and arrive super fast! The service is excellent! Breakfast was also incredible! It's à la carte, just like the resort experience we had in the Maldives! And everything tasted great! Fresh ingredients, and the chicken was so tender! The hotel villas are surrounded by lush greenery, with stunning reflections of the mountains and water – absolutely beautiful! Riding in the electric buggy, with picturesque views and a cool breeze, I even felt like my skin improved and I looked prettier, haha! There were also many young, handsome male staff members, and their service attitude was exceptionally good!!! Everything was perfect!!! No exaggeration, my first trip to Guilin over ten years ago with a tour group and a bunch of older ladies left a terrible impression. This trip completely changed my perception of Guilin! This hotel deserves a lot of credit for that!!! It's a hotel my family of three would definitely visit again!"

"Perfect stay at Guilin- all of the team members at LS Hotel has gone above and beyond our expectations. We have never experienced such caring and thoughtful individuals- special shout out to Kaysen, Victoria, and photographer Xiao Mo for their excellent service. I also want to dedicate my thank you to 叶子 for her brilliant service to my husband and I today. We went out for a bike ride and suddenly, a huge storm has hit. We were drenched. We have already checked out at this point but when we arrived back to collect our luggages, she noticed our wet clothes and made sure we were properly taken cared and making sure we are okay before we leave for our train. This deserves a proper recognition. I’d recommend LS Hotel for anyone who want a fantastic hotel experience. The hotel is beautiful, has many photo spots to taken excellent photos and even served afternoon tea in our package. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back to beautiful Yangshou in the future and back to this hotel!"

"Couldn’t have chosen a better stay in Yangshuo! This hotel exceeded my expectations by far, and it’s well worth the price. I would like to start by mentioning the breakfast, with plenty of both Chinese and Western options, among which the Guilin rice noodles were the absolute highlight for me! I loved eating this local dish every morning—light yet filling, and so rich in flavor! Another highlight was, without a doubt, the large pool with stunning views. It was always super clean and never crowded—a must in this weather! Also, the whole outdoor area is perfect for taking lovely pictures. The room didn’t disappoint—big, bright, and luxurious, with a lovely view of the mountains (opening the curtains every morning was a show!) and a cozy bathtub. Finally, I would like to thank the hotel staff for being so helpful and kind throughout the stay, and for helping us book a taxi to our next destination. Honestly, there’s nothing bad I can say about this place, and I would totally recommend it. Can’t wait to be back!"

"Our stay here was truly one of the highlights of our Yangshuo trip. The hotel is exceptionally family-friendly, with plenty of activities that kept both the kids and adults entertained throughout our stay. It strikes a wonderful balance between relaxation and fun, making it a perfect destination for families. A special mention goes to the photography service, which exceeded all our expectations. The photographers were professional, patient, and wonderful with children, capturing so many beautiful and natural moments that we will treasure for years to come. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and became one of the most memorable parts of our stay. The warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and thoughtful experiences made our vacation even more special. We would happily recommend this hotel to any family visiting Yangshuo and would love to return again in the future."

"Staying at the Miaozai Shanye Resort Hotel in Yangshuo was an amazing experience! The overall aesthetic is simple, clean, and Instagram-worthy, with a very soothing and comfortable environment. The rooftop water mirror offers fantastic photo opportunities, and the large pool, surrounded by green mountains, is perfect for a relaxing evening. The hotel even has its own free photography base for guests, plus a huge kids' playground, making it very family-friendly. Our panoramic mountain view room had expansive views directly facing the lush green peaks. The service was attentive, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Tui Blue. It’s out of the hustle and bustle of West street, but only a 12yen didi there. The views are stunning, including of the romance park across the street. Front desk staff were so kind. Breakfast every morning had both Chinese and western options, including fresh noodles being made to order. This hotel takes great pride in their cleanliness and design. Room was amazing. Great views. Great air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great water pressure from the shower. Free mini fridge for the first round of drinks, and tea and coffee in the room. Our few things where we would recommend improvements to the hotel: - There was no working AC in the gym. - Gym should have some lighter weights too. - Gym needs a mirror. - Pool towels should be available by the pool. (Unsure if they normally are.. we went out in the rain so possibly during sun they have these readily available). - some small things need to be maintained. (Gym wall leak with mold present, painting around windows peeling off, outdoor plant maintenance, pool tidy of chairs and ensure pool inflatables are actually blown up.These small things aren’t really noticed by everybody, however as a travel agent myself it is what sets luxury hotels apart from others). Overall a really great stay. Would definitely stay again."

"I found this to be an exceptional hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, helping me book local experiences at discounted rates exclusive to hotel guests and providing a range of complimentary activities, including afternoon tea, an evening sweet treat, a singing bowl session, and a craft-making workshop. Breakfast was included, and I also enjoyed dinner at the hotel, which was excellent. As a vegan, it is not always easy to find good dining options in China, but the hotel was able to provide delicious vegan meals, which I greatly appreciated. Communication was handled through WeChat, with regular updates and helpful reminders from the staff. Because everything was managed through the app, the language barrier was never an issue, even though most of the staff did not speak English. I also enjoyed spending time in the outdoor swimming pool, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. It was a wonderfully relaxing break, and I would not hesitate to stay here again."

"I stayed at Julong Town for two nights and I really want to recommend this hidden gem of a hotel in the heart of Yangshuo's landscapes to everyone. The room had massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and as soon as you opened the door, you were greeted by an entire wall of karst peaks. Lying in bed in the morning, watching the clouds slowly weave around the mountains, it truly felt like living inside an ink wash painting. The hotel's location is absolutely incredible. The back exit leads directly to the Yulong River, and the lotus pond was in full bloom. You absolutely *must* visit the 'Sky Mirror' on the top floor; the mountains reflected in the mirror create stunning photo opportunities. If you're traveling with kids, the children's playground, DIY lacquer fan and bead crafts, and feeding the bunnies can keep them entertained for half a day. Service was simply perfect. Our butler proactively set up a group chat and sent thoughtful reminders about breakfast times, afternoon tea, and when the complimentary late-night noodles would be delivered. The freshly cooked Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were even more authentic than outside, and there were exquisite desserts every afternoon. When we returned in the evenings, warm late-night snacks were delivered directly to our room. The facilities are also incredibly comprehensive, with a pool, gym, and tea room. The room even came with a washer-dryer combo, which was such a lifesaver when traveling with a child. For that window view and this level of service, I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Yangshuo."
