MMomoThe guesthouse was excellent, with rooms offering stunning views of Guilin's mountains and waters – truly exceptional. The hotel also boasts many photogenic spots, and they even provided a complimentary travel photography session. Afternoon tea was provided, the restaurant was very nice, and à la carte dining was also available. The butler service was impeccable; everything needed was brought to the room. Highly recommended!

The service there is super, both the girls that work at the reception are very friendly and helpful.
The only side note is that the surroundings are not as nice as in the picture. The building in front seems a bit crumbling. Given that, it's a bit hard to get access in front of the hotel with a taxi because of works in the street.

RRupesh DongHeart Like courtyard is located at extremely beautiful scenic area. The view from the room is even more spectacular and relaxing. We felt very comfortable. The hotel receptionist were very kind and helpful. They also had delicious breakfast. We had one of the most pleasant experiences here.
Hotel is close to the river and the ancient town. If anyone fond of bamboo rafting it’s at walking distance. There are horse riding activities near to stay.
Xianggong Mountain View point is visible from room. There is a shortest way from the hotel to Xianggong mountain which we didn’t try because of other sight seeing areas on the way by taxi. If future guests likes to explore can try going Lengshui ferry point close to hotel, take the ferry to Lengshui village at the opposite side. From there can go to Xianggong mountain by taxi uphill to Xianggong viewpoint ticket office. You can have beautiful cafes nearby from office area.

MMantuzhiChecked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.

GGuest UserThis hotel is excellent! The greenery is lovely, the service is great, and the rooms are very clean. They even offer a special travel photography service, which includes outfits and photo editing – the pictures turned out really beautiful. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views. The hotel also rents out electric scooters, making it super convenient to get around for meals and sightseeing. The location is also perfect, right next to the 'Romantic Show' and the Ten-Mile Gallery, and there's a pier nearby where you can take a bamboo raft. It was a wonderful hotel experience!

SSiewJooExcellent service with a smile. Front desk receptionists, Xiao Tang and Xiao Chen, were amazingly service-oriented. Before we arrived, they texted us to arrange to pick us up from the train station for free. As it was the end of Chinese New Year, they sent up to our room a traditional dessert (Tang yuan) marking that festival. They upgraded us to a room with river view. The room was big, clean and thoughtfully designed. The hotel is about a 20-min walk along the gorgeous Li River with dramatic karst landscapes to the Old City. In all, we had a great time at Jingranju and highly recommend it.

HHongshaoyu55This was my first time staying in Yangshuo, and overall, it was a really great experience. This place has a lovely rustic courtyard vibe, and the environment is so cozy. It's highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reset. You can sit in the courtyard, sip tea, and enjoy the mountain views. There's also a huge field of rapeseed flowers right in front, and it's quite close to the rafting spots. We borrowed bikes from the guesthouse and got there in just a few minutes.
The braised chicken with dried bamboo shoots was devoured as soon as it arrived. The chicken was very flavorful, and the bamboo shoots were perfectly crispy – it was incredibly good with rice. All the other dishes were excellent too; we pretty much finished everything at every meal.
Service: The hosts' service was spot-on. I personally don't like overly enthusiastic service, and they struck a perfect balance – not neglecting us, but not being overly zealous either. They were quick to respond to any requests I had.

1. The hotel boasts an excellent location, although it's quite a distance from the city center. If your plan includes visiting Yangshuo West Street, it's a considerable journey from here, so you might consider dedicating a separate day to each area. However, for exploring the Li River scenic attractions, this hotel's location is ideal and highly recommended.
2. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the bamboo raft boarding point for the iconic 20-yuan banknote scenery. The hotel also has EV charging stations right outside, which is very convenient for electric car owners.
3. Electric scooters are available for rent just across the street, making it easy to visit nearby ancient towns. Fruits there are incredibly cheap, and the ancient town experience is fantastic.
4. The staff provide very warm and welcoming service. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool on the ground floor. We noticed that staff proactively turned on the lights as soon as it got dark.
5. There's a great photo-op spot on the rooftop.
Cons:
1. We stayed in a family room with one large bed and one small bed, arranged in a rectangular layout. The TV was awkwardly placed between the foot of both beds, making it practically impossible for anyone to watch comfortably.
2. The wardrobe next to the small bed was not secured, posing a safety hazard. When our child opened the empty wardrobe, it nearly toppled over. Thankfully, my husband reacted quickly and managed to stop it, preventing a potential accident.
3. The food at the hotel restaurant didn't quite live up to the positive reviews. The beer fish was mediocre, and the bamboo rice was notably hard. Overall, we weren't very satisfied with the dishes we tried.

GGuest UserI stayed in the panoramic king room at That Year May B&B, and it was truly excellent! Yesterday, the clear sky offered stunning views of the karst mountains and sunset, and today, the light rain transformed the landscape into a misty wonderland – both experiences were incredibly worthwhile. The room was clean, very quiet at night, and the morning air was fresh. Opening the curtains felt like looking at a painting. The service was down-to-earth and made me feel right at home. The courtyard is large and beautiful, and it's only a 7-minute drive to West Street and Ten-Mile Gallery. A genuine experience, highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe hotel was a real bargain during the off-peak season. I was a bit apprehensive before checking in, given the price was less than a hundred per night. However, the location is excellent, tucked away in an alley off West Street, very close to Xu Beihong's former residence and Sun Yat-sen's speech site. It was quiet at night, away from the hustle and bustle. Since there were two of us, the owner was kind enough to upgrade our room type.
The room itself was well-equipped and very clean. The sink area was separate from the shower, and there was 24-hour hot water. The air conditioning was powerful – perfect for a cool, comfortable bed after a hot day. There was also a projector on the wall for watching TV shows and movies in the evening. There wasn't a trace of smoke in the room, and the walls were spotless.
There are also many great restaurants around the hotel; with a little looking, you can find some delicious and affordable places.
