MMomoThe guesthouse was excellent, with rooms offering stunning views of Guilin's mountains and waters – truly exceptional. The hotel also boasts many photogenic spots, and they even provided a complimentary travel photography session. Afternoon tea was provided, the restaurant was very nice, and à la carte dining was also available. The butler service was impeccable; everything needed was brought to the room. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis is a charming accommodation located near the Yangshuo River. It's divided into a main building and an annex, and I stayed in the newly built annex. While it doesn't offer a view of the Yangshuo mountains, it's cozy and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we communicated well via WeChat.

MM2gs4grhf****This hotel offers a really comfortable environment. Our room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which was lovely. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming; they even thoughtfully prepared brown sugar ginger tea for us to warm up after coming back from sightseeing in the cold weather. They were also very helpful in recommending sightseeing routes and transportation options. Plus, the hotel provides electric scooter rentals, which is super convenient.
It's worth mentioning that there were also some foreign guests staying here. I originally thought it would be a good chance to practice my English, but once mealtime rolled around, eating still took priority! [smirk]

MMantuzhiChecked in on the seventh day of the Chinese New Year. The price was around 400, which was great value for money. As soon as we entered the courtyard, there was an adorable alpaca, and my child was thrilled. The room and environment were both very nice, and the location was excellent. It's right off the main street with plenty of food options. You can rent an electric scooter at the entrance, and if you ride towards the back gate, you'll reach the Yulong River with beautiful scenery. A pleasant stay overall.

GGuest UserThis hotel is an amazing place to stay! It’s super close to the train station, approx 15-20 mins, and walking distance to one of the many bamboo raft rides you can take. The room is huge, even for 2 people and really well kept. The bathroom and toilet were my favourite parts! So well designed and maintained. Everything was also very clean.
The staff were VERY VERY kind to me. Helping accommodate my dietary restrictions. And making sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. Thanks to Xiaotang and her team for making my stay unforgettable.

XXiaohanbaogongzhuThis is a pet-friendly hotel, and I can definitely vouch for its cleanliness and environment. The mountains and water are beautiful, and our room was spotless. There were a lot of mosquitoes on the balcony at night, which is to be expected in a mountainous area, so I can't really fault the hotel for that.
However, I strongly advise against booking any excursions through this hotel. Since I had my dog with me, I asked if dogs were allowed on the boat tours. The young front desk attendant first said she 'didn't know' and then called over an older colleague, who immediately said 'no.' But then I saw videos on Xiaohongshu (a social media app) of people with small dogs on bamboo rafts, so I asked if those rafts were different from the ones offered here. She then said, 'Oh, you mean that type? I can help you call and ask if you need to.' She quoted me 110 RMB per person for a private boat, while I had seen prices of 200-280 RMB for a private boat. She then rambled on about how that price wouldn't work for two people and a dog, and said, 'You can go book it yourself if you find that price.'
Well, as they say, only when you spend your own money do you dare to speak the truth. There are many locals at the dock; just ask them directly and bargain. In the end, we got a private boat with parking included for 260 RMB.

HHongshaoyu55This was my first time staying in Yangshuo, and overall, it was a really great experience. This place has a lovely rustic courtyard vibe, and the environment is so cozy. It's highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and reset. You can sit in the courtyard, sip tea, and enjoy the mountain views. There's also a huge field of rapeseed flowers right in front, and it's quite close to the rafting spots. We borrowed bikes from the guesthouse and got there in just a few minutes.
The braised chicken with dried bamboo shoots was devoured as soon as it arrived. The chicken was very flavorful, and the bamboo shoots were perfectly crispy – it was incredibly good with rice. All the other dishes were excellent too; we pretty much finished everything at every meal.
Service: The hosts' service was spot-on. I personally don't like overly enthusiastic service, and they struck a perfect balance – not neglecting us, but not being overly zealous either. They were quick to respond to any requests I had.

11394432****The inn is ideally located, right by the Li River and very close to West Street. Even if you can't ride an electric scooter, you can walk everywhere. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, including a projector. Downstairs is a sweet and noodle shop, while upstairs is more modest and less crowded. The hostess was warm and welcoming, helping with car and ticket bookings. She even gave me the main entrance key, worried I'd be closed if I arrived late. Yangshuo is packed with delicious food and bustling at night, making it a worthwhile trip.

1. The hotel boasts an excellent location, although it's quite a distance from the city center. If your plan includes visiting Yangshuo West Street, it's a considerable journey from here, so you might consider dedicating a separate day to each area. However, for exploring the Li River scenic attractions, this hotel's location is ideal and highly recommended.
2. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the bamboo raft boarding point for the iconic 20-yuan banknote scenery. The hotel also has EV charging stations right outside, which is very convenient for electric car owners.
3. Electric scooters are available for rent just across the street, making it easy to visit nearby ancient towns. Fruits there are incredibly cheap, and the ancient town experience is fantastic.
4. The staff provide very warm and welcoming service. Guests can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool on the ground floor. We noticed that staff proactively turned on the lights as soon as it got dark.
5. There's a great photo-op spot on the rooftop.
Cons:
1. We stayed in a family room with one large bed and one small bed, arranged in a rectangular layout. The TV was awkwardly placed between the foot of both beds, making it practically impossible for anyone to watch comfortably.
2. The wardrobe next to the small bed was not secured, posing a safety hazard. When our child opened the empty wardrobe, it nearly toppled over. Thankfully, my husband reacted quickly and managed to stop it, preventing a potential accident.
3. The food at the hotel restaurant didn't quite live up to the positive reviews. The beer fish was mediocre, and the bamboo rice was notably hard. Overall, we weren't very satisfied with the dishes we tried.

LlinhozIt was a nice stay and the location of the hotel is very practical. There are a few strong points and a lot of improvements that can be done. We were a group of 5 friends staying in one room together that wasn’t in the main building (Building B)
Improvements:
- the toilet is basically a wet room, there is no separation between the shower and the rest of the toilet. It would’ve been okay, but the drain for the shower wasn’t working so unless you were showering first, I you would enter a flooded bathroom making the toilet experience very uncomfortable
- We also arrived at 15:46 and the check-in starts at 14:00, however when we arrived, the room wasn’t ready. It kinda sucks, because we were really tired and wanted to rest, but we didn’t have the room. The hotel did send in an extra cleaning lady, but considering how empty the place was since it wasn’t a travelling season, it would’ve been nice if the place was ready for 14:00
- The hotel is empty. Since we weren’t staying at the main building, there was no one at our front desk. It didn’t really bother us, but I can see why this can be a safety concern for others. However the area is quite safe
Good points:
- The staff is very helpful and they answer quick if you reach out to them on WeChat. They even have discounts to the dance show. They also offer a shuttle service back to Guilin for 45rmb/person
- the location is insanely good, less than 5min walk away from the Main Street. There is a lot of good restaurants around too
- there’s a terrace with a very nice view that was very practical
- the breakfast is in building B and offers a few option as well as noodles which were really delicious. Breakfast hours also last until 10:30 which is later than usual and that was really nice
Overall the experience was pleasing even tho it started on a bad foot. It felt like a mix of a hostel and hotel experience in a good way
