GGuest UserI was thoroughly impressed by August Climbing Inn. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by its unique climbing atmosphere, which is instantly invigorating.
The facilities are impressive; even the hairdryers are Dyson, a testament to August's commitment to high quality.
The service, in particular, was exceptional. The staff at August are incredibly attentive and not only warm and welcoming but also frequently share climbing tips and experiences with guests, creating a truly homely atmosphere.
A special highlight is that it's also pet-friendly, so travelers with pets can confidently choose this spot.
Furthermore, the rooms are immaculately clean and tidy. Every detail reflects a strict adherence to hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable stay.
The location was a smart choice this time around. While not directly on West Street, its setting provides a welcome escape from the crowds and noise, offering a more peaceful and pleasant experience. The area has a rich local vibe, and getting around without traffic is surprisingly convenient. Plus, being close to the old town not only makes it easy for locals to visit but also allows tourists to more easily explore the local culture and lifestyle.
Overall, August Climbing Inn is an outstanding choice, seamlessly blending climbing culture, excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. Whether you're a climbing enthusiast or a regular tourist, you're sure to find comfort and satisfaction here.

VValeria_kmrvIf I could, I would leave 10 comments to explain how exceptional this hotel is.
Fist, the host is the friendliest person I ever met. She speaks good English and helped us to prepare the program to visit Yuangshuo. She suggested us places we would never find ourselves and it made our stay incredible. The hotel also rent brand new scooters for 40 yuan only. She also helped us to get back the sweater we forgot in our previous hotel and organised the delivery.
Secondly, the hotel very cozy. You can enjoy the view on mountains directly from your balcony. The reception has many cute cats and the dog. I don’t suggest people travelling with big luggage’s to choose the smallest type of room, but with my boyfriend we were backpacking so it didn’t cause any inconvenience.
Finally, I want to highlight all the small intentions you will find. You can ask for all toiletries you can imagine (even sunscreen that can be very useful). There are fruits, snacks and good coffee in the morning. One day the host gifted us face masks and beauty kit.
Thanks a lot one more time, you made our stay an incredible!

22morrowsworldRelatively cheap accommodation with window/balcony facing karst mountain, and just 100m from the Li River. Some nice Thai themed embellishments decorate the rooms. Bed is only a small 'double' and has one useable powerpoint near bed right side + light controls. Aircon works well (only small room so to be expected). Overall, OK for 100 RMB per night, but does have a few issues.
Booked the 'special promotion' room. Trip.com indicates a room size of 12m square metres, which is incorrect. I measured it at 9.5 square, including the bathroom. If including the small balcony (2.5 sq m), the total room area is 12m best case. Only large enough for single occupancy, with small amount of luggage. Two people would need to climb over eachother to move around. No where near enough space for two - luggage would need to be kept outside on the balcony!
Hot water works but is not properly calibrated. Either boiling hot or freezing cold. Extremely difficult to find the right temperature to shower with any comfort. I put full hot, and waited. Water got super hot after 40 seconds. Adjusted to reduce by setting at middle between hot/cold, but water temperature remained super hot. Then pushed to full cold. Water temperature transitioned to cold 29 seconds later. Then put back to middle position but water remained dead cold. Tested this both ways for at least 4 minutes each and remained either scolding hot or freezing cold!!
Hotel provides signs to indicate desire to 'please clean room' and I hang this on outer door handle for two days, but to no avail So can only assume the owners don't provide this service. This establishment is only rated as a 2 star hotel, and given the low price point, you really can't complain - on the condition that the tariff is low. Acceptable for 100 -120 RMB per night. Unacceptable for much more than this though.

GGuest UserI spent three wonderful nights here. The room was bright, the bed very comfortable, and the location near to West Street. The price is incredibly affordable.
A huge thank you to the owner, who was so thoughtful and attentive. He not only helped me with my luggage but also noticed I enjoy tea and generously gave me some tea as a gift and invited me for tea. His help with planning my Yangshuo trip was invaluable.
I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

GGuest UserI really liked the hotel, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and cozy, very clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and the automatic toilet and hairdryer were definitely a plus. They also had a free washing machine and dryer, and even laundry detergent!
The hotel was very conveniently located, and the location was great, as if you were living on West Street, everything was close but still on a quiet street.
I stayed for 2 nights and I was very comfortable there, the only thing is that as you can see in the second photo, there is a building being built right in front of it, I slept until 10 am on the first day and everything was quiet, but the next day they woke me up at 8 in the morning on Sunday!! which was definitely unpleasant!

GGuest UserAs traveler who came here alone to see the mountains and rivers of Yangshuo, I think the location of the accommodation is excellent and safe because the nearby building is a national party building and the police station is right next to it, and conveniently located just one block away from the sightseeing center(Sijie). Additionally, being located right next to the Li River makes it great for a morning walk along the river.
Although the building is somewhat an old one, it is suitable and proper for single use, the clean bedding and hot shower are satisfactory. The room guide and internal amenities show a meticulous attention to detail that is rarely seen in economical accommodations and the counter service is genuinely warm and friendly. I will definitely use this accommodation again if I visit Yangshuo in the future.

GGal2020As a former tourism practitioner, I have stereotypes about Yangshuo that have accumulated over the years: tourist-oriented, commercialized, and a rip-off university. It wasn't until I wanted to try rock climbing that I decided to check it out. It turns out that the off-season for ordinary tourists is the peak season for rock climbers. Look for the Rock Climbing Inn on Xiaohongshu. This is the only one located in the Yulong River Scenic Area. I'm glad I chose it instead of the noisy and monotonous West Street. There is a delicious country bakery, a car rental company and Meiyajia at the door. The rooms are clean and spacious, the public areas are spacious, the small courtyard is lovely, there is a free bouldering wall, a beautiful boss who will give you professional guidance and her even more beautiful mother - we even had a sumptuous dinner she cooked 🍲.
It is recommended to stay in a high-rise room with a balcony, which is suitable for rock climbing enthusiasts, parents and children, people with pets, friends, families and other types of travel.

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at the Eden Inn, and the 2nd time having a great experience. Service: Their service is from the heart. They really care about you;
Surroundings: the grounds are nice, like a rustic Tuscan Villa; there is an expanse of mountains out both front and back of the hotel; there’s great sightseeing just a few minutes by foot; a river with bamboo rafts available; lots of restaurants nearby; cheap rentals of scooters; just a 10-15 minute ride to West Street;
Hotel: Spacious rooms with high ceilings; good air conditioning; on site washing machine; comfortable bed
Conclusion: this is not a 5-Star hotel, but you don’t visit Yangshuo for that kind of vibe. You go there to relax and sightsee, and this spot is PERFECT for that.

AAnonymous UserThis is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite).
Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius.
Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service.
Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.

AAsia Traveler from GERI recently stayed at a hotel in Yangshuo and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the area, making it easy to explore the lively streets, enjoy the river views, and reach all the main attractions within minutes. Despite being so central, the hotel felt peaceful and relaxing, offering the best of both worlds.
