Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. Xiangting Holiday Leisure Hotel was our favorite place we stayed in all of China! The Hosts, Linda and Ken, were very friendly, kind and extremely gracious and helpful.  We felt like they were welcoming us into their home. The hotel is quite beautiful and very well located for exploring this special area of China. Our room was luxurious, huge  and extremely comfortable, with a fantastic shower and super comfortable bed. The view out our balcony window was spectacular! This hotel provided a beautiful and healthy large breakfast every morning in a lovely veranda, and Linda does the cooking. She is a fabulous chef, the noodles in savory broth full of lovely ingredients was the tastiest we had on our entire trip, I am still dreaming of it! We loved this hotel so much that we changed our itinerary so we could stay extra days. We highly recommend staying at Xianting Holiday Hotel when you visit the Yangshuo/Xingpinhg area, you will be very happy and have a wonderful experience!! I just had to write a review for this wonderful hotel. My stay here was absolutely perfect, largely thanks to one person. First off, the location is ideal. It's located very near West Street, which made it incredibly convenient to grab food, check out the party scene, and easily hail a DiDi. You're right in the heart of the action without being in a noisy building. The room itself was so cozy and comfortable. After a long day of exploring, the hot shower was a lifesaver, and I appreciated that they provided complete toiletries—one less thing to worry about packing! Now, for the highlight of my stay: the guy at the reception. He was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He truly went above and beyond to help me. One evening, he even sat down with me over a cup of tea and helped me plan my itineraries, offering fantastic local tips. He arranged carpooling services for me, which made getting to the various sights so much easier and more affordable. My entire stay in Yangshuo was smoother and more enjoyable because of him. That guy is 1000% great! Kudos to him and to the hotel for having such a fantastic employee. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

I really liked the hotel, the people at the reception were very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and cozy, very clean, the air conditioning worked very well, and the automatic toilet and hairdryer were definitely a plus. They also had a free washing machine and dryer, and even laundry detergent! The hotel was very conveniently located, and the location was great, as if you were living on West Street, everything was close but still on a quiet street. I stayed for 2 nights and I was very comfortable there, the only thing is that as you can see in the second photo, there is a building being built right in front of it, I slept until 10 am on the first day and everything was quiet, but the next day they woke me up at 8 in the morning on Sunday!! which was definitely unpleasant!

This was my favourite hotel I’ve stayed in in China. The location is super convenient being only a 4 minute walk to west street, but also in an area where it’s quite at night. The room itself is very clean and comfortable, and the best is sooo comfortable. The room offers nice views of the mountains. You can also rent scooters downstairs for 20yuan a day which is very good. Everyone is very helpful. I would definitely recommend it

As a former tourism practitioner, I have stereotypes about Yangshuo that have accumulated over the years: tourist-oriented, commercialized, and a rip-off university. It wasn't until I wanted to try rock climbing that I decided to check it out. It turns out that the off-season for ordinary tourists is the peak season for rock climbers. Look for the Rock Climbing Inn on Xiaohongshu. This is the only one located in the Yulong River Scenic Area. I'm glad I chose it instead of the noisy and monotonous West Street. There is a delicious country bakery, a car rental company and Meiyajia at the door. The rooms are clean and spacious, the public areas are spacious, the small courtyard is lovely, there is a free bouldering wall, a beautiful boss who will give you professional guidance and her even more beautiful mother - we even had a sumptuous dinner she cooked 🍲. It is recommended to stay in a high-rise room with a balcony, which is suitable for rock climbing enthusiasts, parents and children, people with pets, friends, families and other types of travel.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hygiene was impeccable, and the hot water was consistently available 24/7. The staff were friendly and gentle. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. It was great value for money, and I had a very restful night. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling. Highly recommended!

So lucky to have booked such a great hotel! It really made me feel at home in an unfamiliar place. The hotel environment is lovely and comfortable, and the hygiene is excellent. It's also very conveniently located, just a short walk around the corner to the Yulong River Pathway. We stayed for four days, and the owners, a lovely couple, helped us plan our itinerary, saving us a lot of trouble on our mother-and-son trip. They even told us about the local market and lent us their kitchen to cook some rare mountain produce. We are truly so grateful! We'll definitely be back if we have the chance; this will be our go-to spot whenever we visit Yangshuo.

This is kind of disappointed experience. First of all, one of the toilet couldn't flush and needed two nights to repair, which I only stay there for three nights. It took so long to repair was because the staff made the mistake on the room (there are two rooms in this suite). Second, one of the air-conditioner was not cool at all and only half of it functioned. It didn't repair during our stay. You can imagine how uncomfortable and hot at the room when everyday is above 30 degree Celsius. Lastly, the room cleaning service really confused me. The staff will only clean your room only when you tell the reception you need the cleaning service every morning. This is not a big problem but the problem is NONE of the staff, including the staff during my check in or the staff on duty in the morning, told me that I have to do so to get the room cleaning service. Except the unsatisfying service, tbh, the view of the room is great and balcony is really spacious. It was a little bit sad that we could't enjoy it too much due to hot weather. It does deserve to have a stay if you want to enjoy the view.
