5-Star Hotels in Zhoushan

After visiting Mount Putuo, I stayed at this hotel in Zhujiajian, and it was quite unique! It's right opposite the Guanyin Bodhisattva World, so the next day I could just scan my ID to enter, which was a good experience! The room was nice, and they offer a shuttle service. The minibar items were complimentary, and the auntie even brought milk and fruit.

The hotel's location is excellent; I could see the Nanhai Guanyin statue from my room. It's right on the beach, and walking to Nanhai Guanyin, Zhulin Temple, and Puji Temple is very convenient. The hotel service is great, with pier transfers and thoughtful, personalized service – definitely a highlight. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style, and the unique 'order-as-you-go' system every other day is a nice touch. The seafood set dinner was high quality, delicious, and good value for money. I also want to give a shout-out to the photographer at Chanpai; their photography skills were great, photo selection was quick, and I was very happy with the pictures. My only minor regrets are that the clear sound of the waves at night affected my sleep, and the room didn't have a wardrobe for hanging clothes.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; it offers great value for money. 🛣️Location: The location is quite good, close to Qianbu Beach, and about a ten-minute walk to Fayu Temple. On the way to Fayu Temple, you'll find Starbucks, noodle shops, coffee shops, and creative stores, and you'll also pass by Dacheng Zen Temple and Shuangquan Zen Temple. The hotel is located up a slope off the main road, so you can't hear the shuttle bus during the day. 🏩Facilities: The facilities are relatively new, and the hotel has a good design aesthetic. However, the rooms are a bit small, and there isn't much counter space to put things, which meant we had no place for the complimentary fruit platter after setting up a laptop. There's a self-service laundry room with a dryer. 🔍Service: The in-house service was generally good. Since we booked a package, we received fruit, a mini-bar, and evening craft activities (though we were too tired from exploring during the day to participate). The shuttle service, however, was quite disappointing. We waited at the pier for over half an hour, and the front desk staff kept explaining that they only had one car, which upset many people in our group. Upon arrival, the hotel offered complimentary iced Americanos and a two-tiered afternoon tea as a form of compensation. I hope they can improve the shuttle service in the future. 🍳Dining: Breakfast is a buffet with a focus on Chinese cuisine. Coffee, tea, and fruit are generally available. However, during peak hours, seating can be limited, so I suggest opening the north activity area as an additional space in the mornings. You can order lunch and dinner. Given that food delivery on the island starts at 30 yuan, choosing a hotel with dining options is very important.

On the day of my trip, there was heavy fog and rain, causing multiple changes to the ferry schedule. I really appreciate the executive, Li Fenjun, for her thoughtful reminders and assistance with coordination throughout: she gave me early warnings about cancellations, promptly informed me when services resumed, proactively arranged a shuttle when there was traffic control on-site, and even helped me clarify false information, ensuring I got on the vehicle smoothly. The hotel's location is excellent, close to a bus stop, making travel very convenient. A little tip: when returning from Mount Luojia, you can take the hotel's vehicle directly back without having to detour to Puji Temple. The entire trip went very smoothly, and I'm very grateful!

They upgraded me to a room, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning. The meals included in the package were also very generous. They even gave me a fresh fruit platter and soft drinks. It was a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is a renovation of an old building, so the rooms aren't very spacious, but they are well-equipped. It's a bit inconvenient that you have to switch elevators on the way from the lobby to the room. The front desk staff and room service were quite warm and welcoming. I really appreciated that the breakfast items were clearly marked as vegetarian or non-vegetarian. However, I was quite dissatisfied with the check-out process; they repeatedly tried to avoid issuing an invoice, and it took a long conversation before I finally got one.

Our Zhoushan vacation at the Crowne Plaza Zhoushan Sea View far exceeded our expectations. It's definitely the go-to sea-view hotel if you're visiting Zhujiajian! The hotel is located right by Zhangzhou Bay, within walking distance of Wushitang. Our room boasted a panoramic balcony, offering breathtaking views of the entire bay – fishing boats, green mountains, and the azure sea stretching out before us. Watching the sunset with a sea breeze in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The room itself was spacious and clean, with soft, comfortable bedding and a full set of toiletries. The mini-bar drinks were a thoughtful touch, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, with fresh, authentic seafood. The heated swimming pool, gym, and large kids' club are all well-equipped, making it easy for families with children to relax and enjoy their stay. I especially want to commend Martin at the front desk and Nini from housekeeping! Martin was incredibly friendly and thorough during check-in, proactively introducing the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions. He even thoughtfully upgraded our room, handling everything efficiently and patiently. Whenever we contacted housekeeping during our stay, Nini was quick to respond, providing meticulous and attentive service, with warm touches in every detail. Both staff members were professional and genuinely caring, making our stay incredibly comfortable. With its excellent facilities, beautiful environment, and warm, attentive staff, this hotel is perfect for both leisure and family trips. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Zhoushan, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip!

The corridors were quiet and peaceful, so I wasn't disturbed by any noise. The room space exceeded my expectations; it was spacious and not cramped. The large windows provided excellent natural light and ventilation, making the room bright and airy. The bed was perfectly soft, incredibly relaxing after a long day of traveling, and I slept soundly at night. The room was well-equipped with amenities like a kettle, hairdryer, TV, and WiFi, all in good working order. I couldn't find any fault with the cleanliness; it was meticulously done, not just on the surface but also in every corner and crevice. The toiletries were of good quality, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay. Special thanks to Lester, whose service was exceptional. Check-in and check-out were swift and efficient, with no delays. He was gentle and polite, always smiling, and patiently answered any questions I had, helping promptly. His sincerity was evident in the details, not just superficial politeness. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. The hot food was kept warm, and the taste was to my liking. I left feeling full and energized every day before heading out to explore. For the price, the facilities, cleanliness, and attentive service are truly excellent value for money. My entire stay was flawless and far exceeded my expectations. It's a quiet and livable place, making for a worry-free stay. This hotel has already been added to my top accommodation choices, and I will definitely book here again next time. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The location is excellent, right across from Fayu Temple and the bus stop. If you're heading to Shancai Cave, I highly recommend this hotel. The room facilities are a bit dated, mostly wooden, but the hotel offers shuttle service. I slept pretty well, and the surrounding environment is nice. My room was on a quieter side with fewer guests, so there was less noise. I wouldn't recommend coming on the weekend due to the crowds; Friday is a better option. Definitely try the foot bath!

If you’ve stayed in Shanghai-La in capital cities you might feel a little let down by this hotel which is more of a Shangri-La Lite version. That said, good location, quiet, predominantly clean rooms. Breakfast a little basic. All in all. A comfortable stay, thank you team.
