This ocean view room completely changed my expectations of what a vacation home should be like! From the moment I opened the door, I was captivated by the visual feast offered by the large balcony—the azure sea merged with the sky, and the shimmering waters seemed within reach.
Waking up in the morning to the gentle sound of waves, I could watch the sun leap over the horizon from my bed. In the evening, sitting on the balcony, watching the sunset paint the sea a golden red, accompanied by a glass of red wine—this is how life should be.

RRares MAn excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns.
All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

GGuest UserThe environment of the B&B is great, the service is very thoughtful, and they will help us answer any problems we encounter. The hotel has its own swimming pool, and the children had a lot of fun. The whole island is also very beautiful, with clean streets. The blue and white B&B and the coastal highway make people feel the slow pace of life. The seafood restaurant and small noodle restaurant recommended by the boss are also great. It was a very pleasant trip.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hilton Zhoushan. The room was huge and very comfortable, and I truly appreciated being upgraded to an ocean view room—it made the stay even more enjoyable.
There were always concierge staff available to assist, and their service was professional and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel is conveniently located, close to the town and situated in a very accessible area, which made getting around easy.
If I had to pick one downside, it would be that when ordering delivery or food, guests need to collect it themselves from the hotel entrance, unlike some other hotels where items are delivered directly to the room. That said, this was a minor inconvenience.
Overall, it’s a hotel with good service, and I would highly recommend Hilton Zhoushan to anyone visiting the area.

There was a lake park right in front, and there was a shopping mall and restaurant street right next to it.
There were so many delicious restaurants.
Maybe because it's a weekday, I was a little disappointed that the amusement park didn't open.
The room was kept clean, the breakfast was good, and everyone responded kindly.
Is it because it's been a while since it opened? The amenities recently produced in the room have not been applied.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great location, about a 10-minute walk from Puji Temple. It's also not far from Baibu Beach and the ferry terminal. Right outside the hotel is a bustling street, making dining and shopping very convenient. As for the facilities, the hotel is a bit old and looks a bit dated. However, the cleanliness isn't neglected despite the older facilities, and the housekeeper was very thoughtful. Sometimes I wonder, with many modern hotels offering smart appliances and various stylish decorations, what's the appeal of an older hotel like this? I guess it's simply the feeling of 'reassurance'.

2205159****I've stayed here before because it's convenient for morning prayers at Puji Temple, so I came back again this time. But it's strange, staying in the same room, my experience this time was terrible. I went to bed at 8:30 PM for morning prayers, but from 9 PM onwards, there was the noise of the restaurant downstairs dragging tables, the constantly loud phone ringing at the front desk, and then in the middle of the night, rude guests shouting and doors slamming. The soundproofing is just awful. I later saw that several new hotels and guesthouses have opened near Puji Temple this year. Anyway, I won't be staying here again. The good rating is for the staff; even though they didn't solve the problems, their attitude was decent.

GGuest UserMe and my family traveled in Putaoshan and stayed at this hotel. The staff really helpful, suggested where to go around the island and where to have nice breakfast.
Also, the hotel vibe is very nice, clean and comfortable. I really recommend this hotel and if I have a chace to go back to Putaoshan again I will definitely consider to stay in this hotel again.

AannalookingThis is our second year visiting Putuoshan, and after a great experience last year, we chose Xilai Xiaozhuang again. It's very close to Puji Temple, offering a peaceful retreat despite being near the hustle and bustle, and the pier shuttle service is very convenient. Our room was upgraded and was very spacious. The only downside was the breakfast, which was a bit expensive at 240 for three people. We went at 8 AM, and some of the hot dishes were already cold, there were no boiled eggs, and the glutinous rice in the red bean paste zongzi was hard, as if it hadn't been heated through. Last year, the lobby and front desk staff were very welcoming, but this year their attitude was just average; check-in was slow, and we had to queue. However, the housekeeping service was excellent and very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again next year.

GGuest UserBeautiful retreat nestled in PutuoShan. Though hotel has not been renovated for some time the facilities remain in good condition. Beds were comfortable. Though we had some issues with the air conditioning in the winter the rooms were warm and we did not have to switch on the heater. The hotel organises tea classes and sutra writing which was therapeutic. Only issue is hotel is intended for domestic audience so very little english is used. One has to be able to speak chinese. All in all recommended for any spiritual retreat.. without compromising the luxuries of a premier hotel.
