AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located about 500 meters from the Wugongzhi Wharf for traveling to Putuoshan. On my first day, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite, greeting me proactively and even upgrading me to a deluxe ocean-view king room free of charge. The facilities were complete, and the cleanliness was excellent. This is also a very loving hotel. I encountered a stray cat they treated very well; it was very docile. The front desk mentioned that they feed the cats, and guests didn't object or show any disgust. Everything was harmonious and kind. The cat was also very well-behaved; even on a rainy day, it quietly lay on the luggage cart, without making a fuss, allowing guests to pet it. It was clean and healthy. Thumbs up for this hotel's kindness and compassion towards stray cats! 👍 I'll definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was clean and delicious. In short: Excellent!

GGuest UserFacilities: The room is of moderate size, and overall it can meet the quasi-five-star standard, because the facilities are relatively new, even better than many old five-star brands, and the parking lot has many parking spaces and is very convenient;
Environment: Overall it’s pretty good. It’s very quiet at night. I drove around the island at night. I think this is the most comfortable hotel on the island. The sound insulation is also pretty good;
Service: You can feel that if the hair dryer is broken or there is a problem with the water in the sink, someone will come to the door as soon as possible;
Make some suggestions:
The room can be equipped with latex pillows as standard and buckwheat pillows (full buckwheat pillows) as an option. The sleeping configuration needs to be improved.

GGuest UserI booked this homestay on Ctrip, and the overall feeling is really good. The room is clean and comfortable, and the toiletries are no less than those of a five-star hotel. The environment looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it is quite warm inside. The boss gives people a very kind feeling and helps introduce places to visit around. The meals cooked by the boss's mother are fresh and delicious, and worth recommending.

GGuest UserWe upgraded to a family room with sea view. You can see the fishing port from the window, which is very convenient for eating seafood. It takes only a few minutes to walk to Putuo Mountain by boat. The children have children's slippers and children's toothbrushes, which are very cute and the children like them. There are tea, mineral water, coffee, cola and biscuits in the room, which are all very satisfactory.

Someone from the hotel will take you to the pier, and the staff will also help upgrade the room type! There is also a small restaurant downstairs, and the hairtail fish is fresh and delicious!

Xiaole at the front desk is efficient and capable, and can quickly solve various problems. • Thoughtful and considerate: Provide all-round and considerate services, pay attention to every need of the guests. • Warm and friendly: The staff always smiles and actively communicates with the guests, making the guests feel warm. The location is also very good, with a sea view outside the window. There is also Zhang Hong, a staff member we met on the way, who patiently introduced us to the surrounding attractions, food and how to avoid pitfalls in Zhujiajian.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious.
