JJinyumantangThe owner was incredibly attentive and helpful. Our family of three was debating whether to extend our stay for another night due to the unpredictable weather. The owner then shared his thoughtfully planned itinerary, explaining that once we had visited all the attractions we planned, there would be no need for an extra night. He genuinely provided the most reasonable and reliable advice for us visitors. The guesthouse room itself was quite spacious, and I especially loved the private little garden outside. The amenities were well-appointed. Plus, there are breakfast spots and convenience stores right next door, which is very convenient. What makes it truly excellent value for money is its extremely close proximity to both Putuoshan Pier and Luojia Mountain Pier. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. The 700 yuan we ate outside was not as much as the 500 yuan the boss cooked, and it was a bit of a rip-off outside. The boss was very kind and talked to each other. The yard of the B&B and the roof are full of succulents, which are very beautiful. The only regret is that the weather was not good when I came, it was gloomy, foggy and rainy, the sea water was not blue, and there was haze, which was the biggest disappointment. Everything else was very satisfactory.

As soon as I entered the house, I felt like I was back home, very comfortable!
❤️Praise the housekeeper sister and brother of other people's houses for being so nice! When I first arrived on the island, the temperature suddenly dropped. The sister lent me a super windproof coat to wear. The next day, my sweater fell into the sea again. It was not dry when I left after several days of drying. As it turned out, this coat saved me for three days! Grateful heart! ❤️Praise the breakfast every morning. The porridge and side dishes are really comfortable and delicious! The restaurant also has a large window with an unbeatable view. The day's comfort starts with breakfast. It's really great. ❤️I like to listen to music and play board games in the restaurant after a day of walking around. Without the interruption of mobile phones and work groups, I feel full of vitality! ❤️Praise the little partner of the B&B-May! So cute, give it a kiss, a puppy with a super good personality!
ENDING👉🏻Flower and Bird Island is a lovely island. It is super great to meet other people's housekeepers here. It's like visiting an old friend's house. It's free and comfortable, warm and happy! I also met very interesting ”neighbors”. We all live in the same B&B. We meet in various places in a day. In the end, we can greet and say goodbye like old friends. It's really interesting (I was moved to tears)!

KKelkooI stayed there for 3 nights in 2 different rooms - the queen bed garden view (no pictures) and Queen Bed sea view (pictures provided).
This accommodation is located on the east side of the island close to the bridge going to Shengshan Island. I liked it’s location because it allowed me to hike around both islands. However, there’s a bus stop just next to the hostel if you like.
The owners and their 2 dogs are adorable. They also own a small ice cream shop in the center which I recommend.
The view from then restaurant area is just perfect. They serve good food - mix of local seafood dishes and non-seafood. There’s also a small beach area just in front with no entry fee.
Overall I would highly recommend this place for the view, location and price. My only negative point is that the sea view room is located above their kitchen. The room gets the kitchen smells anytime they cook. If that does not bother you, this room has a very nice view. I personally would pick the garden view which is located separately from the main house if I would book again.

There are also many shops nearby for shopping and dining. The room is exactly as shown in the photos, very clean, with toiletries and a mahjong machine. Overall, it's pretty good.

If you live in an inconvenient place, you will really waste a lot of time. Qinghe is conveniently located, the rooms are clean, and the proprietress is also very welcoming. It's very good.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

GGuest UserIt's a long time away from the pier. Suzhai is near the door. It takes 15 minutes to Puji Temple. There are buses from Puji Temple station to any temple and scenic spot. After packing your luggage, you can check it and store it at the pier. It's really convenient.
