Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a good location in Glenelg close to the strip of restaurants on Jetty Road, the waterfront and the Ferris Wheel. We had a room on the 1st floor but it had a good view of the trees and the road in front. Our experience in Glenelg was marred by the numerous flies in the area that kept bothering us as we walked around the parks and waterways in the area. We also had a slight misunderstanding whereby although the hotel had agreed to a late checkout at the time of checking in, this was not documented and the cleaning crew came knocking on our door and asking us to go to the Reception to sort out the issue.
GGuest UserThe room is not big and has simple kitchen utensils, but it has everything you need. The price is reasonable and the location is good. It is close to everything by car and convenient. It is also close to the botanical garden. There are not many sockets. You need to bring your own multi-hole plugs and extension cords
CCarey LoyBreakFree Adelaide is a pragmatic choice for the high-frequency business traveler who views a hotel as a utility rather than an experience. Positioned on the western edge of the CBD, it offers a ”three-star plus” experience—clean, functional, and devoid of the price bloat found in nearby luxury hubs.
The strategic advantage here is the onsite undercover parking ($22/night with a 2.1m clearance), which is a rare, friction-reducing asset in the city center. For those working in the West End or visiting the University of Adelaide’s Health Faculty, the logistics are seamless.
The area's character is gritty but authentic. While the immediate hotel dining is unremarkable, the culinary upside is concentrated nearby. Specifically, Seoul Express on Hindley Street provides high-quality Korean fare that serves as a necessary antidote to standard hotel catering. Stay here for the operational efficiency; look elsewhere if you require aesthetic inspiration.
TTracy McCourtI have stay at the Links hotel quite often without any issues, but this time was different. I booked through a booking website for 2 adults and 3 children, for 2 nights. First night was ok, came back 2nd day after going out for a while, aircon had been turned off, cleaners came in when we asked them not to, made 2 beds and left the double bed, didn’t clean anything at all and only left 2 towels.
When I questioned the receptionist she said I only booked for 2 people for the 2nd night. And she was quite rude , yet I had confirmation on my phone otherwise. The booking company sent thru only 2 people for 2nd night. They got it wrong and I had no apology from her or any explanation of why the room was “cleaned “ like that . I’m not happy about it and doubt I’ll stay there again! 😡
GGuest UserRoom was nice and clean, but a little in the smallish side , due to room having a queen and single bed in it
Very quiet location despite being walking distance to numerous cafes / takeaway / restaurant’s / supermarket but we didn’t hear any traffic noise at all
Enjoyed the supplied light breakfast pack it was nice of OJ / milk / cereal / musesli bar
Plenty of room to park our car.
Very convenient location we will stay again when we need to visit the city ( Adelaide )
AAnjilamonaThe environment of the room number is quite satisfactory in all aspects, but it is quite speechless, that is, I went there and told me that the Internet is not available, and the signal in the room is very poor. My own network can not be used, and the signal is too bad
And the front desk is not there, you have to walk to find another place to see it
There is a deposit of 1 yuan at the front desk. There are two room cards in total. One is to provide electricity and the other is to take with you when you go out.
The most speechless thing is that the internet is unavailable and the signal in the room is very poor

GGuest UserLocated in the north of Adelaide is a 3 minute drive from the botanical gardens and approximately 25 minute walk. It's got good parking and is easy to get to. Old building with lots of history.
GGuest UserLocation was fine for what we wanted, to be close to Gillman speedway. Pool was lovely. Spa was very slow on pumping bubbles & area around pool could be cleaner but maybe there had been heavy rain. Didn’t use the food service.
GGuest UserAs the cheapest non-dorm room available in central Adelaide, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has history and character. The staff were very friendly and helpful; the food was good and the range of beer was great. The room was a bit basic, but hey, it’s a place to get your head down for the night. The washrooms are shared, but no hotel from that period will have en-suites. The water ran hot in the showers, just if you’re tall like me, be prepared to contort if you want to get under the stream of water to wash your hair!!

LLao muGood location in CBD but nearby bars noisy at night. Room was clean when I arrived but was not cleaned during my 4 night stay. Staff were friendly and helpful but not on site at night. Price good for the location.
