"Great location, great staff. But nothing amazing, felt a little outdated in rooms. Also amenities, mini bar, room service were very basic. Rooms with bathtubs should have bath salts. I know they are planning on opening a sauna/steam/cold plunge, which will definetly make stays more pleasant. Good, but just felt little outdated today with all amazing hotels around. I spend a lot of time in hotels, traveling both for work and pleasure, and I appreciate when hotel rooms have good quality tea, better snacks than just crisps and chocolate, nice bath items etc. For me, it was outdated."

"Great view, decent service and location however I was put in the room next to the lifts and was kept awake/woken up for a large portion of the night until late, and early in the mornings on both nights of my stay. Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators!"

"This time, my family and I stayed at the InterContinental Adelaide, opting for a City View Classic Twin Room, and the overall experience was truly excellent, completely exceeding our expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the River Torrens. We could walk to the riverside promenade, downtown restaurants, and shopping areas. It was perfect for strolls during the day and enjoying the night view in the evening. The room offered a nice view, with city and river views from the window; the lights reflecting on the water at night were beautiful. The room was also quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The cleanliness details were meticulously handled; the room was spotless, and the bedding and bathroom facilities were reassuring. The twin room offered enough space for a family trip, allowing us to spread out our luggage without feeling cramped. The facilities were well-maintained; the lobby had an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere, and the elevators and corridors were clean and quiet. The service left a deep impression; check-in at the front desk was smooth, and the staff were friendly, professional, and answered all our questions. We had a small request during our stay, and it was addressed very promptly, truly reflecting the InterContinental's service standards. The breakfast and public areas also offered a good experience, with a very relaxed pace overall. Adelaide itself is quite laid-back, and staying here allowed us to enjoy the convenience of the city while still feeling like we were on a vacation. We were very satisfied with this family trip/family stay, and if we visit Adelaide again, the InterContinental will definitely be our top choice."

"Stayed 3 nights , had 2 nights booked and decided to book a day early , unfortunately they could not give us the same twin room , so we settled on the king Riverview room. The staff were great accommodated the situation with no fuss taking our bags for.the short window between transfer of rooms. They really looked after us as we went out however as.mentioned they quickly got the room ready. The rooms are spacious clean have a great outlook and bathrooms are well designed and the decor is wonderful Hard to fault really , the spa, sauna steam room and a good gym. Maybe the pool which is more than sufficient, but hard to do laps if that is your thing Location next to the station , great , stadium a short walk Excellent"
