Romantic Hotels in Adelaide

"The apartment was clean and functional. It has everything you would need for an extended stay., including washing machine and dryer. We actually live in the northern suburbs of Adelaide but we were going to a show that night and decided we would not drive home. It had parking for $30 per night which we thought was a bargain. The receptionist was lovely when we checked in. The only complaint from both my husband and myself was that the pillows were not to our liking. Using both pillows proved too high, one was too low, and they were much too firm for us. Other than that, I can't complain. ☺️☺️"

"The hotel's location is convenient, within a 10-minute walk to Central Market. The room was clean and soundproof, and the environment was quiet. Special praise: The hotel staff were incredibly thoughtful. I was on a 2-day tour, so I had two separate stays and stored my luggage at the hotel. However, the local tour was delayed, affecting my check-in and luggage retrieval time. They were excellent, confirming everything via email, helping to arrange things, and even delivering my luggage to my room. Truly, truly fantastic! 👍👍👍"

"The location is definitely the biggest plus – right in the middle of the CBD and within walking distance of pretty much everything. That said, the downside is the noise. The hotel is on Hindley Street, so if you’re staying on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to be woken up by people shouting outside. I stayed on the top (4th) floor and could still hear everything, so I can only imagine what the lower floors are like. The building is very old and the windows offer almost no sound insulation. The rooms are also very dated. There’s nothing modern about them, and the furniture and fittings show obvious signs of wear and tear. The shower was another frustration. It takes around 10 minutes to get the water temperature right, and even then it keeps changing between very hot and cold while you’re showering. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth paying around $100 per night. During my stay in Adelaide, I found much better hotels for only $10–20 more per night. If your priority is location and you’re not bothered by noise or older facilities, it might suit you. Otherwise, I’d recommend spending a little extra for a much better experience."

"The hotel is conveniently located directly across the road from the University of Adelaide, and it's a short 3-4 minute walk to Coles and Woolworths supermarkets in Rundle Mall, which is great for groceries (you can take a shortcut to Rundle Mall by turning left out of the apartment, then left again, and through an automatic door). It's also very close to the train station, just 3 minutes away, and the Botanic Gardens are about a 7-8 minute walk. We had a pleasant 5-day stay and want to thank William at the front desk and the other staff for their help!"
