SStellakwansyStaying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for.
The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences.
I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!

GGuest UserWe arrived about 1300 and the hotel was able to provide a flexible early check-in -very good as it allowed us to do some afternoon sightseeing. Room was very good with nice features, space and amenities. Breakfast was excellent. Staff helpful and provided good local advice. Only poor note was that the pool was out of service, which was disappointing due to the inclement weather that occurred during our stay.

GGuest UserThough check-in was officially from 3 PM, they graciously allowed me to check in a little after 2:30 PM. My only minor concern is that the check-in area is quite small, which I imagine could be a challenge if it gets busy. I was incredibly impressed by the clear view of the Matterhorn directly from my room, without even needing to step outside – I'm so glad I chose this hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious.

AAomduanI had a wonderful stay at this charming small hotel, beautifully decorated and conveniently located near Zermatt train station.
During my stay, a snowstorm caused a power outage and all train services were suspended, making it impossible to leave the town. Despite these unexpected circumstances, the hotel took excellent care of us. They provided helpful information, allowed us to extend our stay without any additional charges, and showed incredible kindness throughout.
The hotel owner was especially warm and accommodating, making a difficult situation much easier for us. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zermatt.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a short distance from Zermatt Railway Station. It takes more than ten minutes to walk. It takes a slope and climb the stairs. A total of 5 floors, we lived in a mountain view room, the room was clean and spacious, the facilities were perfect, and the decoration was very Swiss mountain style. The balcony is quite big, and there is no partition from the adjacent room. If the weather is good, you can directly see the top of Matterhorn, and you can also see the train up the mountain passing by the side of the hillside. It is a great experience. There are bread, cakes, yogurt, sausages, fruits, coffee and other Western breakfasts, and the restaurant is very cute. The front desk and restaurant waiters of the hotel are very warm and the wifi is very smooth. It is not far from the Matterhorn shooting check-in point and the black-faced sheep restaurant. It is recommended.

MM58907****The Matterhorn is clearly visible from the hotel's lawn, and the scenery is unparalleled. There is a free spa area, the room is very clean and the facilities are new. The only drawback is that we booked three rooms and only one had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. In fact, many rooms in the hotel face the Matterhorn. In short, overall it's pretty good.

AAudthewayLocation was right in the middle of the city, super convenient! Nearby the Zermatt main station, as well as Gornergrat station!
Supermarkets were walking distance away, and even food options were many like macdonalds, western food, etc.
the receptionist was warm and friendly and even extended us for an early check in when rooms are available.
The hotel was overall very cozy and clean, suitable for a short stay. The necessities are provided like soap, towels, hair dryer, tissue! Just note that there is no fridge in the room if that was your concern. Other than that, perfect stay!

Service at front counter is excellent! Courteous, friendly and informative. Also we got upgraded! Room is clean and spacious and has a balcony. On going renovation next door during our stay in Oct 2024.
Resort has 2 restaurant at the hotel but one apparently requires reservation and has seating time. We were famished when arrived at the restaurant at 8pm, but were told to come back at 830pm for second seating. Such a disappointment when the front counter service was excellent. Had dinner at the pub instead, food wasn’t too bad.
Spa facilities was great. Would stay at the same Ola e again. Value for money

Hotel is directly opposite cemetery but don’t think too much and u be fine! Room is small but cozy (my photo is wide angle so seem bigger)
Hotel is very helpful to help pack a breakfast bento for me as I be leaving before breakfast hours (just inform the day before). I also managed to keep luggage after checkout at the common area (no lock and key) and retrieve it later.

ZZhenweiningmeng1. This hotel apartment has no front desk. After 4 pm, it is impossible to manually check-in. The machine can be on the machine. The machine is very slow. We also encountered the problem of credit card payment errors. After the call service staff waited for 15 minutes for people to come over to solve it. The service attitude is very good, but this is really inconvenient, especially after we slipped for a day of snow, and pulled the big box and small box very hard to get here.
If it arrives at 4 pm, it is recommended to go to the next Alpen Resort hotel (the message is in the first picture) first check-in and then come over, otherwise you have to be frozen if you can't get in. 😅
2. The hotel is very good, the room is large, you can cook, we ate a few days of white rice can not stand, go to the COOP supermarket next to buy ingredients, make the simplest and most classic tomato scrambled eggs, chili fried meat, green vegetables, very satisfied 🤭
3. The room has a balcony, you can sit on the balcony to watch the snow-capped mountains and the town scenery and drink beer, it must be very pleasant. However, we were too tired to ski for a day and it was very cold, so we didn't enjoy 👻
