We decided to upgrade to a ground floor suite and it was the best decision. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.

Parking is convenient, but it happens to be raining, so you need to walk for about two minutes.
