"The hotel is spacious, and the cleanliness in all areas was decent. Considering its New York location, the value for money is actually pretty good. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway, which makes getting around less convenient."

"Location was great. Access to public transportation and a variety of restaurants and shopping areas. Can’t provide any comments about the service other than that the reception was good. They did have The room itself was very small. It came with a king bed which made it even smaller. There was no closet available other a place to hang hangers. Only one drawer was provided to store personal items and a tiny refrigerator. Although useless the room had a very nice tv but no WiFi so you were relegated to watching four channels."

"I had a great stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The queen room on the 9th floor was perfect for just me - it was small but well designed and had everything I needed. It was also very clean. The bed was softer than mine at home, but it was so comfy. There were also a variety of pillows so I was able to get just the right one to sleep on and a blackout screen on the window to keep out light, so I slept like a baby both nights.
On my first night, I took advantage of the check-in coupon and ate at the restaurant. The bartender was super, happy hour had great pricing, and the dinner was exceptional (whole Snapper). The location is okay because it is only a block to a subway station, but there doesn't seem to be much of interest close by (hip hop museum is closed as they are on tour) and it is a bit far to Manhattan for reasonable prices on Uber. All-in-all though, it was a good experience and I had a fabulous quick trip to NYC."

"Much better than I expected. A bit better than most hotels in Flushing. There's a free shuttle to LaGuardia Airport. Flushing is a 10-minute walk away, offering Chinese restaurants and supermarkets. The subway station is also nearby. The new Westin is right next door, but the room rates are several hundred RMB higher."

"The location are great for Asian customers because it’s located at the Asian location and they have a lot of Asian food and very close to subway station of No. 7 train station (approx. 2 mins walk).
I will definitely recommend of this hotel.

"There cannot be a better place than this to stay in New York. This is my personal suggestion that if you want to stay on budget with decent amenities, good food and the most important , good connectivity to the subway, this is the place to stay.
Overall 10/10 experience for the price we paid. We paid around 1200 USD for 6 night for a queen bedroom. It was very well worth it."

"The hotel staff was very kind and explained.
The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped.
Personally, the high points were the all-you-can-drink coffee and juice for 24 hours + the smoking area in the parking space right next to the building.

If there is one point to be concerned about, the hotel itself is wonderful, but it is in an area where security is a bit of a concern due to its location.
Basically, there seemed to be no problem, but one night there were a lot of junkies, vagrant people, and people making noise on the street."

PPuluowangsideyangguangThe hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the corner of Trinity Church. It's incredibly well-connected, with 5-6 subway lines (including yellow, green, and red) right on its doorstep. There's an on-site restaurant on the ground floor offering breakfast. Additionally, for quick bites, you'll find two bakeries on the hotel's back street and a tiny Chinese eatery nearby. With McDonald's and Starbucks also close by, dining options are plentiful.
However, a minor inconvenience is the lack of hot water and utensils if you wish to prepare instant noodles. I strongly advise bringing your own cutlery. The front desk is quite small, with just two workstations, and service is notably minimal. During my three-day stay, there was no housekeeping to clean the room or empty the trash. I called twice to request service, but the staff's English was very poor. Despite lengthy attempts to communicate, they simply didn't understand – quite surprising for a hotel in the US, haha. Toothbrushes are not provided, so make sure to pack your own. The room quality is comparable to what you'd expect from a mid-tier Chinese chain like Jinjiang Inn or Orange Hotel, which really made me miss the Indigo on the Bund in Shanghai.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a good location. The breakfast room is small, so you have to avoid peak hours. However, the breakfast is fresh and the coffee is delicious. The front desk is friendly and the room is clean. The downtown area of New York City is a little noisy at night, which may be unavoidable when living in the city center. There is a small Thai restaurant nearby that is so delicious!

MMagicMilesThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn! I usually choose this hotel chain for its service quality, but this stay was incredibly disappointing.
I booked a Standard King Size room for two nights. When I checked-in at night, I received my key card and went to my room, only to find that it was a basement room with just a tiny window, not the large window room I had booked. I immediately went back to the Front Desk to request the correct room, but the staff told me that it was already full and only this room was available.
I asked why they didn’t hold the room I had booked since I should be getting what I paid for. Their response? ”Because you arrived at night.” This excuse made no sense at all! Then, another staff member (curly hair) walked over, mumbled complaints, showed an upset attitude, and finally said she would move me to a new room—but only for one night. The next day, I had to move back to the standard room. The way she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. A staff member should never complain or show frustration in front of guests!
The next morning, my husband and I brought our luggage down and returned our key card as instructed. However, a different staff member told me that I could actually stay in the same room. So, I placed my luggage back in the room again and went out for the day. Before leaving, I specifically informed housekeeping to clean the room.
When I returned that night, I couldn’t access my room. After going back to the Front Desk, the staff told me that the room I originally booked was full, meaning I had to stay in the same room again. Worst of all, when I finally got back inside, the room had not been cleaned at all, even though I had requested it in advance!
Overall, this was the worst Holiday Inn experience I’ve ever had. The management was disorganized. This stay completely changed my perception of the Holiday Inn brand. I would never recommend this hotel!

MM532088****The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the bus stop and within walking distance of the train station, with plenty of dining options nearby. Rooms are serviced every two days. Despite facing the street, our room was quiet thanks to good soundproofing, and it came equipped with a kitchen and laundry facilities. A major drawback, however, was the elevators for the upper floors, which were incredibly slow and severely insufficient. Complimentary coffee and lemonade were always available downstairs. While breakfast is free, it's very basic, made with rather cheap and common ingredients, and frankly, not very tasty. I also strongly disliked the extensive use of disposable cutlery, which I found to be very environmentally unfriendly. On the positive side, their check-out time is later than most other hotels in New York, which is a huge convenience! Luggage storage is also available.

YyidamMaybe it's to cut costs, the service is very simple. There was only one towel in the bathroom when I checked in. The front desk was nice and sent someone to deliver it immediately. But no one cleaned the next day, which saved me the $5 tip. Breakfast is mainly scrambled eggs, bacon rolls and small cakes, and the drinks are more diverse. You have to bring your own toiletries and slippers. The location is super good, with Madison Square and Penn Station just outside. The transportation is extremely convenient. It only takes 40 minutes to get to Kennedy Airport by Changchun Railway Station and Changchun Railway Station. It is also very convenient to take the train to Newark Airport in New Jersey. The room is not big, but it is very cost-effective for a single person to stay for a short period of time, and the deposit can be refunded quickly. Also, please note that not all rooms provide free wifi.

GGracewqzThe location of the Holiday Inn is excellent. It's situated between Sixth and Seventh Avenue, making it easy to walk to the subway station and Times Square. The hotel rooms are not large but they are clean and tidy, and they come with a safe and a hairdryer. Breakfast is free and includes fruits and juices, as well as bagels, cupcakes, and nut bars. If you're in a hurry, you can also take it to go.
The most unforgettable person for me was Ms. Nadine. She helped me get back the passports for me and my family. I forgot to take the passports out of the safe when I checked out, and I only remembered when I was about to leave New York after spending the whole day out. I rushed back to the hotel and, in my panic, I told her the wrong room number. Ms. Nadine was very patient and compassionate; she let me go up with her to check. At that moment I found out I had given her the wrong room number. I am truly very grateful to her. I will stay in the Holiday Inn again.
