GGuest UserWonderful hotel! Perfect location as easily accessible to the subway (literally 2 minute walk). Very comfortable and stylish rooms. Great shampoo/conditioner/ body wash! Very glad we chose to stay at the Ace Hotel! Thank you.
MMs. ShaniquaOmgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice.
PLEASE NOTE:
There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking.
Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)!
We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional!
p.s. they also offer a seated bar area.

HHuanghaiyuerImportant: Bring your own padlock and slippers.
Facilities: The building seems a bit old, but it has everything you need. There's an elevator (the buttons are quite retro 🔘).
The common areas and kitchen are very spacious, with all sorts of cooking utensils. There's a hot water kettle for hot drinks, instant soup, or instant noodles.
Each bed has its own curtain, a small night light, and a shelf, offering a good degree of personal space. That's a plus.
Cleanliness: Relatively good.
Environment: I arrived at night so I didn't see the outside courtyard, but the interior is very spacious and well-zoned. It seems like there are many activities during the day, and the rooms aren't cold at all.
Service: The front desk staff were friendly.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, about a ten-minute walk from Times Square. The area feels relatively safe during the day, and the surrounding streets are lined with various restaurants, making dining very convenient. However, the room facilities are quite basic, perhaps a notch below what you'd expect from a similar-class hotel in China. The breakfast, consisting mainly of bread and pastries, isn't particularly elaborate. This hotel is probably best suited for business travelers or tourists.

GGuest UserThis is a great hotel. While the facilities aren't top-notch, they absolutely meet the standards of a four-star establishment. If you're looking for an affordable star-rated hotel with well-maintained facilities, this is definitely your best bet. I only paid a little over 900 RMB per night when I booked.

XXiuxian0858The room itself is actually great value for money, but the facilities are basic. There's no paid drinking water in the room, and you have to go to the second floor to buy it, which is really inconvenient. Downstairs, there's a place to store luggage, but not overnight. The location is convenient; it's a 5-6 minute walk to the Charging Bull, and you can easily walk to the New York Stock Exchange and other financial areas. There's a subway entrance directly across from the hotel, with at least four platforms nearby, which is very handy. It's also close to the South Ferry. If you buy a New York City unlimited weekly subway pass, getting around is super easy from here.

GGuest UserI am writing to complain about an unexpected charge on my credit card during my stay at your hotel.
On April 24, during check-in, I was informed about the USD 300 deposit, and I understood that this was a standard security deposit.
However, on April 25, I noticed an additional charge of USD 103.26 on my credit card. I was not informed about this charge, and I do not know what this amount is for.
I would like to request a clear explanation regarding this charge and kindly ask you to review it as soon as possible.
Please let me know whether this is an authorized hotel fee or if there has been a mistake.
I look forward to your prompt response.
Thank you.

OOla’s travel diaryThe location is absolutely unbeatable—being just steps from Central Park, Lincoln Center, and the subway made exploring the city so easy.
We also loved the atmosphere. The rooftop bar is a gem with a great vibe and beautiful view, good drinks, offering a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing .
Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. If you are tall, it’s better to book a room with a king bed. The hotel’s design is great! There are many restaurants nearby and a Starbucks right downstairs
As a fun bonus for TV fans—the hotel is famous for being featured in Gossip Girl (as Chuck Bass's hotel) and the new Dexter: Resurrection series . It was exciting to stay in such an iconic spot!
GGuest UserThe biggest advantage of this Sheraton is its location; you can walk to most attractions in Midtown Manhattan. The rooms are just so-so, and parking is extremely expensive. They even charge for luggage storage. The meal vouchers were a pleasant surprise though.
AAnonymous UserThe room and lobby are clean and hygienic, the decoration is simple and elegant, and the charging socket on the desk has USB/TYPE-C, which is very convenient;
Friendly and professional staff;
The location is excellent, within walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square, next to the New York Public Library and Bryant Park, and close to various bus stops at the subway entrance.
The surrounding security situation is safe, and there are no passers-by lying on the ground;
There are several Sichuan restaurants on the left and opposite of the store door, which are suitable for Chinese stomachs; there are also several bakeries nearby.
In short, because it is a newly renovated hotel in 22 years, even if it is not so famous, it is worth recommending.
