RRobin Greenthumb (DocGreenthumb)I had an amazing stay at this clean and spacious 2 - bedroom apartment. It was the perfect choice for our trip with two couples. Everything we needed was right there in the apartment, making our stay incredibly convenient.
The location is truly outstanding. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby. We could easily grab a delicious meal or pick up essentials without having to travel far.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone traveling in a group of two couples. It offers a comfortable and hassle - free experience.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel. The rooms are luxurious and the beds are very comfy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They gave great tips for our planned day trips and organised a scooter for us that was delivered to the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice. 15 minutes walk to Cat Co 3 beach and many restaurants arround. Would absolutely stay here again.

GGuest UserWe stayed for 2 nights here in the top floor family room. We had a nice large terrace facing the mountain. The room was spotlessly clean, the mattress was good and there was enough lighting all around. Plenty of free bottled water was provided. The bathroom was huge with both a shower and bathtub. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with pancake and pho and fresh fruits. The service was very good, whenever we had a query, we were promptly addressed via WhatsApp with the owner. The location is just right for us, who want to be a few mins walking distance to the main street and restaurant and is quiet enough away from loud music from the tourist bars and restaurants. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Catba. Thank you to the owner!

GGuest UserI've booked into the homestay hopeful for some quite time away from the crowded city and influx of tourists over the weekend. Definitely worth it now. The owner makes sure that what ever you need he gets for you. The view is beautiful, the food amazing. I would definitely highly recommend the Green Homestay for a quite time in the mountains. Rent a bike and explore the surrounding mountains and ocean views. Sitting on the porch with sunset overlooking the garden seeing the animals come to life after a long hot day is worth it. Thank you for the great time.

PPeter PietroCheck-in fast. The apartment is large. An entire room with division of the sleeping area with glass door and curtain. Quiet apartment. There are 2 double beds. With a slightly too firm mattress. The living area is excellent for eating a meal for 2 or 3 people. The kitchen area is equipped to eat for 2 people. With microwave and large refrigerator. There are also pans and a pot, but they are useless because there are no stoves for cooking. A few hundred meters away there is a shopping center. And many shops within walking distance. Excellent apartment with very affordable price.

DDaniela888Nicely decorated room and very comfortable and funcional. The location is not great, it is bit far from the center and even more from the beaches.
Staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast has some options but the quality is not the best. There is a rooftop bar and restaurant but it is not clear what are the open hours. We tried to get there in the afternoon and nobody was there.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, Aui Nguyen Trai felt like a calm exhale in the middle of the city’s lively rhythm. The location is spot-on—close enough to Hai Phong’s cafés, markets, and landmarks for easy wandering, yet tucked just enough off the main flow to stay quiet at night. The rooms are bright, thoughtfully laid out, and impeccably clean; little details—good water pressure, comfortably firm mattresses, and reliable Wi-Fi—made it effortless to settle in after a day out.
Service is where the hotel truly shines. Staff were warm without being overbearing, quick with local tips, and genuinely proactive—everything from a smooth check-in to helping with rides and recommendations felt easy and human. Public spaces are tidy and modern, and the overall vibe is understated—more “well-curated haven” than flashy boutique, which I loved. Value for money is excellent; you get the kind of comfort and consistency that usually costs more.
If you’re visiting Hai Phong for work or a quick city break before heading to the islands, this is a place that makes travel feel simple—in the best possible way. I’d gladly stay here again.

SShardaleI needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.
