The hotel owner and their family are incredibly attentive and welcoming. The service and guest care are top-notch. The location is on a quiet street, not far from the bustling central areas. It's a slight uphill walk to the hotel. It's a perfect option for a couple of days. It's clean and has everything you need.

I had a fantastic stay here with my friends! The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location couldn’t have been better so convenient for exploring the area. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and helpful staff. The amenities were great too everything we needed was available, and we really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend it for a group trip!

We stayed only one day for personal reasons, although we had booked for a little longer. The owner had the most comprehensive understanding of it and had separated our booking and returned us the money for the remaining days. I find this very lovely and really customer-friendly. We have paid a small amount due to the administrative fees that the renter had to pay in advance because of our change. However, compared to the amount for the additional days, it is not worth mentioning. We are very grateful for this.

1. The hotel is located 20 minutes' walk from the central embankment, to get to the center you first need to go up the hill, and then down. If there is a continuous construction site on the central embankment, then near the hotel it is quiet and calm. The hotel also has a great view of the bay. 2. The hotel offers excursions, tickets for buses and limousines, you can eat and admire the scenery on the top floor. You can give your clothes to be washed. Motorbike rental is offered. 3. The price of the rooms is very attractive, in the center for such a room with a view of the construction site they will charge you twice as much. The price of the room includes a simple breakfast. As a result: in 2025 this is one of the best options in Cat Ba in its price category.

My friend and I had a wonderful time staying at this hotel in Cat Ba! The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A huge shoutout to the manager, who went above and beyond for us. She was always attentive to our needs and incredibly helpful, even taking care of booking our bus tickets to our next destination. Another major plus is that they have an ATM right on-site and accept card payments for absolutely everything, which is super convenient and made our trip so much smoother. If you are visiting Cat Ba, this is definitely the place to stay!

My wife and I went on a free and easy trip to Cat Ba Island in Vietnam. After looking online, we found this place to be really great. The hotel is clean and hygienic, just like back home in China. Most importantly, it's brand new, having opened in 2026. It's a villa-style hotel, very close to Cat Ba town, just over 1 kilometer away. At night, you can go out to buy seafood and have it cooked. If you want to tour the island, you can rent a motorbike from the owner for 150,000 VND per day. The owner also prepared breakfast for us and was incredibly friendly. For Chinese travelers, this is definitely the top choice – you won't regret it. Chinese people don't trick Chinese people!

Small room with a low ceiling. Given the 500% humidity, the lack of ventilation is a real issue. Unfortunately, this is a problem with ALL budget hotels. There's an air conditioner and a fan in the room, and everything works perfectly. The plumbing is also in good condition. There are two excellent eateries right near the hotel. Oh, and yes! The hotel has an elevator. I just realized how convenient that is, especially after lugging my suitcase up three flights of narrow stairs in Hue!!! Good for a couple of nights.

The guy at the front desk was very nice. Motorbike rental was 100k. There were many places to eat nearby, but breakfast was no longer available recently.

Очень колоритный отель, выглядит как произведение искусства! Мы оставались всего на пару ночей, но даже пожалели об этом. Чисто, аккуратно, убирались каждый день. Завтрак с не очень большим выбором, но вкусный и можно найти что-то, чтобы не голодать. Бар наверху с небольшим выбором, но даже если коктейля нет в карте, то можно заказать микс на свой вкус 👌 Еду в кафе попробовали совсем немного, но то что приготовили - было супер 🔥 Бассейн был очень уж холодным, но чистый и не перехлорированный.

The hotel itself is fantastic. Great rooms. Excellent view and amenities. However, be warned. We booked a room which was advertised as having two king beds and a balcony given we had three people. Upon arrival reception tried to charge us for the 3rd person, after showing them that the booking states you could 4 people in the room, they backed off. Once getting to the room we realised there was only one king bed and no balcony. Back we went to reception, asking them what was going on as we hadn't received the room we had paid for. After some discussion it became clear to us that the communication between the hotel and trip.com was lacking and that the advertised room didn't exist in the hotel . The room also seemed to be owned by a third party owner who we were never in contact with. When we called reception for more towels, toilet paper or room service, our calls were answered with ”you need to speak to the owner of the room”. When asked who they were, they couldn't point us in the right direction. It made things quite frustrating especially when some of our party was sick and needed extra assistance.
