Haiphong Hotels with Pools

The best hostel of my entire trip! From the cleanliness of the rooms and comfortable beds to the kitchen and the wonderful staff—everything was perfect! I spent 11 nights at this hostel and didn't want to leave at all. At Oversleep Cat Ba, I was an important guest. my bed linen was changed every three days (or sooner at my request). There were always fresh towels at reception. Delicious food and the nicest chefs. At reception, you can resolve any issue. From renting a bike to withdrawing cash (I transferred money to a Vietnamese bank via Q-code and they kindly gave me the entire amount in cash) No stress or complications. I extended my reservation several times and didn't have to change beds; they organised everything for me. Sensitive and responsible. Papa - here are my words of love from the bottom of my heart, for your care. For every morning and evening When I came to the pool bar, I always smiled when I saw you! Thank you for your kindness. For making me feel at home away from home (this is not just a slogan, it is the motto of the entire hotel. The rooms and beds - a separate love Nowhere else have I found such comfortable and ergonomically correct beds Not only a locker, shelf, lamp and socket, but also a large amount of space on the side of the bed where you can conveniently lay out your things (and hide your backpack in a large locker under the bed) No mess and always clean. Clean and functional showers and toilets. Plenty of space, no unpleasant odours. Importantly, there is space to work. The bar has enough space for fun evenings and for work. Uninterrupted Wi-Fi, excellent speed. The hostel observes quiet hours. For breakfast, I always asked for extra bread with my meal, and I was never refused. In the end, I didn't even have to ask; the staff knew me and offered me bread themselves. So nice! Thank you! I sincerely thank the entire CatBa Oversleep hostel team for your work, your love for what you do, and your complete dedication. Your care for each guest, your attentiveness, and your kindness! If fate brings me back to this island, I will return to you without hesitation!

The hotel is located in the city center, offering an excellent location within walking distance of both the train station and museums. Additionally, the rooms are very spacious and modern. The hotel breakfast provides a wide variety of delicious options, including many authentic Vietnamese dishes.

I've booked into the homestay hopeful for some quite time away from the crowded city and influx of tourists over the weekend. Definitely worth it now. The owner makes sure that what ever you need he gets for you. The view is beautiful, the food amazing. I would definitely highly recommend the Green Homestay for a quite time in the mountains. Rent a bike and explore the surrounding mountains and ocean views. Sitting on the porch with sunset overlooking the garden seeing the animals come to life after a long hot day is worth it. Thank you for the great time.

Overall, if there are any issues encountered, the hotel manager will respond quickly and take appropriate action. For example, when I mentioned that the WiFi signal was weak and unstable during check-in, the hotel manager arranged for a room change. Upon inquiry, I discovered that the room allocation and distance would affect WiFi reception. The hotel staff then suggested that for future stays, I could make a note requesting a room with better WiFi reception. This stay from October 3rd to October 9th was also quite good. Unfortunately, my wife and I only learned about the hotel's structural issues on October 7th, and since my wife had too much luggage, we didn't want to change rooms again. We will be staying again soon in the future.

Great stay at Sheraton Hai Phong Hotel. The hotel was very clean, and the location was convenient. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The gym and swimming pool were excellent, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The service staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming. The front desk and bell staff were also very professional and courteous. Overall, it met the standard I would expect from a Marriott hotel, and I was not disappointed. One small area for improvement is the bathroom ventilation. The exhaust fan was not very strong, and sometimes there was a slight smell in the bathroom when the air conditioning was not on.

Overlooking the mountains, Catba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort is located in Cat Ba and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, a bar, a garden, a year-round outdoor pool and a terrace. The homestay features free WiFi and free private parking. There is a private bathroom with a bidet/shower in all units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Guests at Catba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort can enjoy an Asian breakfast. There is a shared lounge at the property and cycling is possible nearby. Xuan Dam Beach is 2 km from the property, while Ben Beo Harbour is 7.8 km away. The nearest airport is Cat Bi International Airport, 45 km from Catba Papillon Garden Bungalows & Resort, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.

Nice HomeStay in the mountains. The facilities were good and the owners hired us scooters and arrange for our transportation from Hanoi to Cat Ba. They had some books, cards and board games available. The tables around the pool were nice to have food or a drink around. The location is out of town, so not as many food options available but the homestay offers okay food - the banana pancakes were nice. The room was spacious, cold aircon and hot water with a little balcony which was nice. It was excellent value for money and very easy to get to the nation park and caves from on a scooter ☺️ If you book any day tours, they will pick you up from the hotel too. The boat tour was enjoyable - we booked through GetYourGuide, but the homestay also offers tours as well.

The hotel was very nice. Great location and view (sunset from the rooftop bar is fantastic). If it wasn't for the construction in front of the hotel, this hotel would be the bees knees. It is close to our tour operator and mini markets. The staff so helpful and informative. Jong, one of the managers, organised a taxi for us to take us from our tour in the harbour to our speedboat to take us to Ha Long City. The speedboat driver organised the taxi driver to take us to our hotel in Ha Long City. It was well organised for us at half the price that we paid to get to Cat Ba Island. We were taken advantage of in the beginning of the Cat Ba Island adventure as unknowledgeable tourists, but we were treated so well on our departure trip from Cat Ba Island thanks to Jong.

I needed a place to stay when the ferries closed due to a typhoon and this was a neat spot to find on short notice. The comment I am making is based on the amount of money being paid for Vietnamese standards so the room has everything you need and the bed is comfortable, however I felt the blanket was quite thin. The menu for food was only in Vietnamese. There are snacks and drinks in the room that are cheap, but I was hesitant on the bottled water when I had seen it was opened already and I wondered if it was just refilled instead of being a new bottle? The reception staff were very kind, helpful and lovely to speak with. The breakfast was small in variety and the English Breakfast I got was what I feel a way to save costs by giving ham instead of bacon? Again only due to the price being paid did I expect something of better quality in some regards. However I am grateful for a place to stay when I was stuck. There are restaurants nearby, a very good western bar with good food and lovely local vietnamese seafood spots. It is in walking distance to the beach.

-Quick check-in, friendly and enthusiastic receptionist. -Clean room, fully equipped and comfortable, near Aeonmall. Every time I return to Hai Phong, I stay here, reasonable price ☺️
