GGuest UserWe had a fantastic stay at Niki Homestay in Hue. The house is brand new and our room was spotless—one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The facilities were excellent and everything felt modern and well maintained.
The host was truly exceptional, always on hand to help with anything we needed. Water and towels were replaced daily, which was a really thoughtful touch. They also offer laundry service—our clothes were washed, neatly folded, and ready for us the very same evening we dropped them off!
The location is perfect as well: quiet and peaceful, yet still very easy to reach Hue’s main attractions.
Highly recommended if you’re visiting Hue!

GGuest UserThe hotel is relatively new and well maintained. The only thing that I didn't like was the shower is not instant heat water heater. So you need to wait for the hot water and there's limited supply of hot water. Others are all very good. Breakfast is beyond my expectations for a small hotel, with diversified food choice. The staff are very helpful. They have drivers and cars that you can book. The driver is very friendly and speaks some English. We used the da nang to hue transfer and a day tour in Hue with airport drop off. Was very pleasent experience with the driver. The view on the terrace is also very good.

I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine.
If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

LLong Beloved WifeThe location is quite good because it is close to many restaurants and night markets. The minus point is that there is no elevator, the staff has luggage but it is also a bit inconvenient to go up and down. The single bed is integrated but because the iron bed or something is integrated, the decoration inside the room is a bit half-great (there is a high shelf but to cover the hair dryer below, in general it doesn't look beautiful but it doesn't have much use). There are seats outside the yard to take pictures, the trees are quite beautiful.

SSéverine SCHAEFFERExcellent accommodation in a new and tastefully decorated homestay. The host family is lovely and very helpful; they told us about restaurants open nearby during the Tet holiday. The cleanliness is impeccable, and all toiletries are provided. If you need anything (we asked for a knife and a plate for our morning fruit), the owners, who live on-site, will provide it. It's also possible to order drinks and instant noodles, even though breakfast isn't served here. Many dining options are available nearby. You can reach the citadel by walking along the river on the developed promenade or by an affordable taxi. I highly recommend this place!

TTravel with LibertyA really lovely and beautiful hotel! The interior decoration is so beautiful! It is in a great location close to every thing and the hotel staff were very friendly! There is room to park your moped at the front and the breakfast was very nice! The room was clean and the internet worked well! It was quiet at night and I slept very well!

GGuest UserNice small cozy family run Inn. The room is furnished to a high standard, our room was quiet. Breakfast order were taken each night and freshly prepared the next day by host. We chose this place due its close proximity to the citadel and walkable to nearby attractions. Host were helpful and flexible to let’s checkin early.

AArcherName774The location is a bit remote from the main streets, but it is within a 10 minute motorcycle ride. It is truly a homestay, there is an auntie who lives there full time, who is relatively friendly. It is shown in the pictures, but I didn't notice that the bed doesn't have a proper frame, it basically lies on the floor on a wooden pallet, but the mattress is decent. The room has lots of electronic devices, such as a dehydrator and an insect killer. The TV is huge. The bathroom experience is also good. The huge issue I had, that made my experience poor is a curtain, that doesn't properly close the window, so it's possible to clearly see the room from the yard. The management provided a makeshift half-solution, and assured me they will fix it in future, but I share my experience. There are some other small issues that should be fixed, but after they complete I think guests should have a good stay.

OOne n OnlyThe manager is very nice, change room for me to nicer room when complain about toilet smell.
I did not realise the air cond not working properly after I came back in evening and basically the controller can not turn on off or control the air conditioner at all, in top the air cond only blows air at 1 speed abdc1 temperature not cool enough, end up sleeping not much at all while night because of very hot in the room with air cond not working properly.
Not trying to tell people how to manage hotel business, but as manager they should check the conditions of rooms, which are good or bad, cabinets doors, corridor carpet need to be replaced etc, if they want to attract more customers, and regularly inspect the rooms, don't wait till customers complain then try to fix problems. apart from all these hotel manager is an absolute nice person. Feel not easy to leave this hotel because she is so nice, but I need to have cool room to sleep well.
Motorbike rental is very nice from this hotel, she offer half day rate because I arrived at 2 pm.
You can do better, try harder, proactively doing things. Room has 2 nice windows and a nice balcony garden. Location of hotel is right in the centre of night eating place and walking streets.
