GGuest UserA haven for my soul !!!
I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine.
If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

GGuest UserThe hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

MMaria_AmelinaGorgeous hotel! We were placed in, it seems, a completely new room. Very clean, beautiful. We really felt like we were in the French Riviera. The hotel area is small, compact, but very beautiful. Two swimming pools, in the classic Vietnamese part and in the French with a jacuzzi.
The staff is very friendly, smiling. Each employee always smiles and says hello.
We had dinner at a local French restaurant. Despite the high prices, I think they are completely justified. The presentation, quality and taste of the dishes are amazing. Foie gras is tender, melting - amazing. The onion soup is classic French. My husband's duck is delicious.
I recommend this paradise to everyone!

GGuest UserThe hotel itself built along the lake, and walked from one end to the other end, was about 3 km, a good enough healthy walk especially after the meal. The hotel also provided bicycles and we can order buggy instead of walking.
We booked the water villa, quite an experience to live above the water. Room is big, 130 sq meter, facilities are good, although some minor improvements could make the stay even better. For example, the bath room could have more lighting, and install towel hanging places with no plants underneath.
Staff are very friendly and with warm smiles. The two swimming pools all have wonderful view. Spa is excellent.
This hotel is good for relaxation and rest. Travelling to scenery locations are a bit far away. Driving to the Danang airport takes about 80 minutes.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful vacation in Banyan Tree. The service here is really on another level compared to other 5 star hotels as you are assigned a Villa host who takes care of you during your stay. Our host, Man, was very friendly and very helpful, going as far as to go to some shops to get our daughter some writing supplies so she could do her homework.
The villa is nice and it was great to lounge in our private pool. The beach is also private and quiet. The hotel facilities are shared with the sister hotel Angsana which you can travel between with the buggy. The hotels kids club is a little far, closer to the golf so you cannot walk there however the kids club staff are very good with kids. Overall we had a great stay.

KKah FaiThe service was good overall — staff were friendly, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable. The breakfast spread was also great with plenty of choices. However, there were many lizards on the ceiling at night, which made our stay uncomfortable. At checkout, we forgot to bring back the room keys, so the staff tried to locate them. Unfortunately, one of the keys could not be found and we were told we might have to pay a fine of more than 1 million dong. Thankfully, after we left, the staff managed to find the missing key. We felt the situation could have been handled better at the time, perhaps by calling more staff to help with the search, and it would also be much more convenient if the hotel switched from physical keys to card keys. With these improvements, the overall experience would be much better.

GGuest UserIn general the stay was ok. The location is good, the hotel is clean and modern. However I cannot give a great rating because of the most bizarre thing that happened at check-out. Having already explained that we were in a rush as we had a flight to catch, the receptionist offered to check our room in case we had forgotten anything. I explained it wasn't necessary as we had checked thoroughly, and repeated that we were in a rush. Our pre-booked car was already waiting, and having loaded our luggage and go in, she instructed our driver not to leave until she had checked the room! I am a very regular traveler throughout Asia and beyond and this is not normal practice, and to attempt to delay our departure ahead of a 2-hour drive to the airport is both bizarre and completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel for this episode alone.

MM361520****The service was incredibly attentive, and the room was very clean and hygienic. The garden view was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. It's a bit of a distance from the city center, but a taxi ride is all it takes, and this also makes the hotel a quiet oasis. I highly recommend booking a room with a hot spring bath! I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I'm in Hue. 😊

GGuest UserWe traveled from Da Nang to Hue for this stay. Since the hotel is newly opened, all the facilities, equipment, and decor felt brand new and pristine.
Because we were on a tight two-day schedule, we utilised their luggage storage service. When we returned late around 9 PM, we were pleased to find they had already safely moved our bags into our room. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, especially the kind older gentleman.
I really enjoyed the minimalist and earthy aesthetic of the room. However, there was a design flaw: one of the windows could not be fully closed. Unfortunately, this allowed mosquitoes and small bugs to enter the room at night.
While the hotel does not provide breakfast, the location is excellent, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants for meals.

VVeehThis is luxury at its best! I cannot find words to compliment the service at this place! I absolutely adore it and have come back here 3 times already! The decor is beautiful, the beach is clean! The scenery is just out of this world! A perfect retreat for relaxation!
