永永远吉祥THIS... is the best place I stayed in for my 3 weeks in Central Vietnam. Such a amazing property... well thought out with electronic key locks, layouts in showers, motion sensing lights up the stairs and exquisite decor that likely matches the city it is in - the old capital of Hue!
Service was top notch with the messaging of the provision of travel documents requested through the platform. And subsequent PINs for self entry to the property. Lovely garden when you open the gate. Nice touch with the local snacks Bánh bột lọc lá (tapioca dumpling with filling consists of shrimp and fatty pork belly, often marinated and caramelized, steam in banana leaves) left for us in the room.
Enjoyed the restaurants and cafes in the area too... there's a supermarket just outside as well to pick up any snacks, drinks, etc.
Living in the citadel is quieter... you'll see pretty sunsets as well as a walking distance to the imperial palace.
GgurupathikWhat a brilliant place. From the beginning the front desk was super accommodating and made sure that my stay albeit the one night that I stayed, was comfortable and convenient. They gave me a map and suggested local areas to try for food, sightsee and experience the culture here in Hue. Ms Tho was an absolute gem and also helped me book my onward leg bus ticket to Phong Nha. Only wish I had the time to stay here longer. Post checkout they kept my stuff and even let me freshen up before the sleeper bus came.
Only thing I would suggest is to remove the flag of a genocidic state (Israel) from the “where do you come from board” in the main lobby.
AAnonymous UserThe location is quiet, the environment is known by looking at the picture, the owner of the hotel is I guess a designer, because I saw someone doing a building model in the hotel in the afternoon, driving a Mazda SUV, it should be very rich, praise this environment again, a bit of dry landscape meaning, summer, sitting alone in the mountains, Beauty cried. If you have to say the disadvantage, it is that the bed room is not locked, but the price is, it is my problem not the problem of the room, his family also has a big bed room, I think it is still very possible.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. The hostess was very hospitable. She recommended places to eat and helped with the bus to Hoi An. The hotel and rooms are very clean. I recommend it; when we come to Hue again, we will definitely stay here.
GGuest UserThe hostel was clean and the rooms were very well designed.
The staff was friendly.
The location was in the middle of the touristy area so it can be kinda loud around.
We had a bad experience with doing laundry in the place though, we're backpacking and going around Vietnam on our motorcycle, and we needed to have almost all of our stuff washed as we've been on the road for a while, the rate was 80k for 5kg, we sent in 5.4 kg and got charged 100k, while getting dressed for adventure next morning we found out that all clothes that had a stain on them had the same exact stains and even more stains from detergent (one of the jackets had a sticker on it, and when we got it back it still had the sticker so idk if it was even washed), we sent them back again, got them back later and they were still very unclean and had the same stains on them, I talked to the staff but my issue was not resolved and I had to do laundry again in the next city.
It was kinda wasteful for our time and money tbh, but otherwise the place was nice.
CCheryl_Huynh01Spent 3 days at Leranda, we arrived early and left pretty late due to our flight but the host helped us to look out for our luggage. The whole stay was amazing, we felt like home staying here. Location is right in the Pedestrian street, however it stays apart from all the noise which makes it a hidden gem for solo travelers. Breakfast was so amazing, we did not skip a meal here. The homestay also offers bike renting, it’s a little pricey comparing to other places but considering the convenience and the bike’s condition, it’s acceptable for us. Would definitely choosing Leranda again if we come back to Hue next time!
DDutchindisguiseLocation: in Hué’s city centre in an alley, away from the main road. In the evening is it quiet.
Facilities: The front of the building has a small communal area, where in the morning a simple breakfast is served…The dorms are spread over the ground floor (dorm without windows) and first floor (better, because has windows). Beds are old styled iron frames so if your upstairs neighbor is a wild sleeper during the night, you will have a rocky night. Bathrooms are simple and clean. Staff is friendly. Good proper place to stay in Hué, but not particularly memorable.
GGuest UserExcellent location in the ancient part of the city, away from touristy commercial hell. I stayed alone in a bedroom with a double bed. The walls are very thin and the family that runs the hotel starts their activities at 5AM with pretty loud talking, so you'll need earplugs if noise bothers you like me. The equipment was basic but had everything I needed: aircon, hot water (albeit with a quite small heater that allowed for 10 minutes or so). You can rent motorbikes on location and the staff is helpful even in spite of the language barrier. Good value for your money
