Outstanding
GGuest UserWe loved staying at Lumiere. Very modern and they were wonderful when we realised we had left our passports in the house after we had checked out. Very helpful. One downside was the pin numbers to get into each bedroom. We had to leave the doors ajar so that we could get into our children's room at night.
Also the house didn't have very hot water so the big beautiful bath wasn't as lovely and warm as I could have been.
The master bedroom was so luxurious.
Overall we loved our time here. Will be back if we visit Hue again!
GGuest UserThis has been our favourite accomodation to date. Staff have been amazing. We arrived earlier than expected from an overnight bus (ie 4.30am!!) and we were able to drop off our bags before wandering around the city of Hue as it woke up. We were then able to check in early (around 9am) without any extra charge (lucky our room was available!) so we could have a nap before lunch!
Clean room with all we needed. We did have opening windows but no view but we got what we paid for and was in a relatively (we are in Vietnam!) quiet little side street close to walking street (but away from loud music etc). Would definitely stay again. Breakfast was made to order and delicious (can have as much as you like… recommend the mango smoothies 😊)
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. The hostess was very hospitable. She recommended places to eat and helped with the bus to Hoi An. The hotel and rooms are very clean. I recommend it; when we come to Hue again, we will definitely stay here.
GGuest UserGreat hotel in a street close to nice coffees and restaurants, and the imperial palace is at a walkable distance. Great room size, smiling staff. The hotel is calm and enjoyable with lots of plants (downside was the presence of small ants if you have food so be careful). Would recommend !
GGuest UserThe hostel was clean and the rooms were very well designed.
The staff was friendly.
The location was in the middle of the touristy area so it can be kinda loud around.
We had a bad experience with doing laundry in the place though, we're backpacking and going around Vietnam on our motorcycle, and we needed to have almost all of our stuff washed as we've been on the road for a while, the rate was 80k for 5kg, we sent in 5.4 kg and got charged 100k, while getting dressed for adventure next morning we found out that all clothes that had a stain on them had the same exact stains and even more stains from detergent (one of the jackets had a sticker on it, and when we got it back it still had the sticker so idk if it was even washed), we sent them back again, got them back later and they were still very unclean and had the same stains on them, I talked to the staff but my issue was not resolved and I had to do laundry again in the next city.
It was kinda wasteful for our time and money tbh, but otherwise the place was nice.
CCheryl_Huynh01Spent 3 days at Leranda, we arrived early and left pretty late due to our flight but the host helped us to look out for our luggage. The whole stay was amazing, we felt like home staying here. Location is right in the Pedestrian street, however it stays apart from all the noise which makes it a hidden gem for solo travelers. Breakfast was so amazing, we did not skip a meal here. The homestay also offers bike renting, it’s a little pricey comparing to other places but considering the convenience and the bike’s condition, it’s acceptable for us. Would definitely choosing Leranda again if we come back to Hue next time!
DDutchindisguiseLocation: in Hué’s city centre in an alley, away from the main road. In the evening is it quiet.
Facilities: The front of the building has a small communal area, where in the morning a simple breakfast is served…The dorms are spread over the ground floor (dorm without windows) and first floor (better, because has windows). Beds are old styled iron frames so if your upstairs neighbor is a wild sleeper during the night, you will have a rocky night. Bathrooms are simple and clean. Staff is friendly. Good proper place to stay in Hué, but not particularly memorable.
GGuest UserExcellent location in the ancient part of the city, away from touristy commercial hell. I stayed alone in a bedroom with a double bed. The walls are very thin and the family that runs the hotel starts their activities at 5AM with pretty loud talking, so you'll need earplugs if noise bothers you like me. The equipment was basic but had everything I needed: aircon, hot water (albeit with a quite small heater that allowed for 10 minutes or so). You can rent motorbikes on location and the staff is helpful even in spite of the language barrier. Good value for your money
