Amazing
GGuest UserEverything was perfect, even though there had been one of the heaviest rainstorms and floods beforehand. The staff were always friendly and incredibly attentive. We especially loved the hotel's Art Deco style. It's a shame we only had 2.5 days.
JJenPI was treated like royalty from the moment I arrived for my 4 night stay. Requested a much earlier check in with no problem & no extra cost. Was offered a free upgrade to an incredible much larger apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. Very comfortable bed & pillows.
The housekeeping staff cleaned every day & left fresh water & fruit. The breakfast selection is huge with an 'egg station' to have your eggs cooked just how you like. I ordered dinner to my room in the evening & the food & service was impeccable. The free Yoga & Tai Chi Classes are an extra bonus & I got the chance to kayak on the Lagoon for 2 hours which is also free. If I needed help with anything I just had to message & was replied to immediately. I also requested a later check out & that was done with no problem. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, if only all hotel staff were like this!
The only flaw at the Resort is the Bird Room. I didn't know birds would be in cages & unable to fly properly. This was upsetting & I can imagine may put some people off from booking. It doesn't make sense to cage birds when you are surrounded by them at the Resort. Apart from that aspect I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay & thank everyone who made it such a memorable experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel is super. I recommend booking a room with spa access. The breakfasts are very diverse, and the pizza at the restaurant is delicious. The only downside is that there's no proper fridge in the room – it's more like a wine cooler that doesn't really get cold. The pool is very large.
CChococaI stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was within walking distance of the Imperial City and the night market area, but it was so hot that I ended up using Grab for most of my transportation.
The street in front of the hotel wasn't as lively as the backpacker district, but on weekends, it became a pedestrian-only street with lovely lights. Because of this, there was karaoke every night, which I could hear from my room.
The hotel itself is a bit older, but it was very clean. The room and bed were spacious, making for a comfortable stay.
The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of fruits and vegetables, making it very healthy. The mangoes, in particular, were delicious and gave a great taste of Vietnam. The live kitchen had an egg station and a noodle bar. There was also a good variety of breads, catering to different international tastes, which was a nice touch.
The staff were all very kind, greeting me with a smiling 'Xin chào!' every time I passed them. Thanks to them, my impression of Hue was very positive.
GGuest UserHaving stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special.
The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!
IIri_AsiaThis is so far the best ever resort I've had the pleasure to stay at. From exclusive and delicious food, to a delightful Spa, this resort has everything you need or want. The restaurants: Moomba, Rice Bowl, Rice Bar and Saffron, offer a wonderful selection of dishes suitable for lovers of meat and fish, and also suitable for vegans as well. The pool is incredible and has a nice little bar. The staff members are beyond friendly and caring. They remember your names, they always ask about your stay and they pay close attention to all of your needs. Especially, I'd love to mention Hien, who was very kind and caring, Linh, a wonderful lady, making sure we had no issues during the stay, and Trinh, who was a joy to talk to when we visited the golf facility. Overall, it was our second time there and we'd definitely go back!

Recommend for anyone who want comfortable, easy access to sightseeing and quiet.
VViktoriaChNice old-fashioned hotel in the center of city. You can get to tha river and Palace by feet. Rooms wew clear and there was good choice of food for breakfast.
Unfortunately we didn't have an opportunity to try swimming pool and spa as they were on renovation
RRobby PartoGreat Location and Excellent Service – Perfect for a Short Stay
We recently stayed at the Century Riverside Hotel in Hue for one night. Overall, we had a positive experience and would certainly recommend it for travelers looking for a convenient base in the city.
Room Experience
We booked a family room with a connecting door. Upon arrival, we found that the setup was actually two small rooms with an open section between them, rather than two fully separate rooms with a connecting door. While this wasn't the exact layout we expected, it didn't bother us at all since we were only staying for one night. It is just worth keeping in mind if you are traveling as a family and prefer complete privacy.
The Highlights
Despite the room layout, the hotel excels in several key areas:
• Perfect Location: The hotel is centrally located, making it very easy to explore Hue and access everything you need nearby.
• Delicious Breakfast: The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It was very extensive, and everything we tasted was delicious—definitely a great way to start the morning.
• Friendly Staff: The service was a major highlight. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our time there, which really made our stay more pleasant.
Verdict: If you are looking for a well-located hotel with great service for a short stay in Hue, the Century Riverside Hotel is a solid choice.
JJay koolHad huge expectations from the hotel after reading reviews. The hospitality was fabulous ! The breakfast was excellent as well. Its very convenient as there are many shops and walking street nearby. However , the nightmare begins at night as there is a CLUB very close to the hotel. The music is so loud until 3am and barely could sleep. The noise from the traffic is loud. Choose a room without river view.
