XXiaolankuangziChoosing the DoubleTree by Hilton is always a good decision. The hotel is perfectly situated right on Kurfürstendamm, with a large Asian supermarket nearby, plenty of restaurants, and within walking distance to both metro and train stations. There's complimentary water refill available on every floor, and the bedding in the rooms is excellent. My only minor suggestion would be for a wider variety at breakfast.

XXC租车很不优The room has excellent natural light, and the location is fantastic. The service attitude is also top-notch. I'll definitely choose to stay at SANA again when I come back to Berlin! It's about a five-minute walk to the subway station, and it's very quiet at night. The in-room coffee machine is also super good.

GGuest UserThe hotel was beautifully decorated and in a great location. We stayed there for 3 nights over New Year's Eve. It must be even more beautiful in the summer. The staff are always available and address any issues promptly. It's also really cool that each elevator plays different music. I would recommend it to everyone.

RRPSMWe recently stayed at The Circus Hotel in Berlin, taking two rooms for a short family trip. The experience was, in many respects, excellent. The location is ideal—central, with easy access to public transport and within walking distance of a huge variety of restaurants and shops.
Service throughout was truly commendable. Staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful at every turn. The hotel bar is a genuine highlight—stylish, welcoming, and well-stocked. We especially appreciated the honesty bar and terrace upstairs, which made for a beautiful, relaxed afternoon during our stay.
Breakfast was another strong point, offering a good variety of quality options in a comfortable setting. The rooms themselves are well-sized, clean, and nicely appointed.
However, there’s a major issue that any traveller should be aware of: there is no real air conditioning. What’s provided is what I would describe as a comfort cooling system—more symbolic than functional. During our stay, temperatures hovered around 25 °C during the day and 18 °C at night, yet the rooms remained unpleasantly warm. Both rooms had fans, and the windows had to be opened to let in any real cool air. It’s quite clear that the hotel expects guests to rely on the fans, which is not acceptable given the climate realities of Berlin summers.
This significantly affected our comfort and sleep. For travel between late May and early October, I would strongly caution against booking unless you’re completely indifferent to room temperature.
It’s unfortunate, because in almost every other respect, The Circus Hotel is a real gem. I genuinely wanted to love it, and in cooler months, I very likely would. But the absence of proper climate control is a deal-breaker in warmer weather, and it’s clear the hotel is aware of the issue—hence the fans in every room.

• No air conditioning—only a weak cooling system and fans
• Rooms become uncomfortably warm even in moderate summer temperatures
Conclusion:
A brilliant hotel during cooler seasons. But for summer stays, particularly with children or light sleepers, the lack of proper climate control unfortunately outweighs the many positives.

GGuest UserHad a very reasonable experience. Reception friendly. Got assigned a quiet room that I asked for. Slept good. Foldable bed is not really my thing, but kitchenette was good. Asked for an extra pillow to make myself comfortable. Room in general not very super comfortable. Chair hard, matrass hard and sofa not relaxing.
Location not great, quite a walk to the S bahn. Left a day earlier than I originally booked for because of poor weather.
Would stay somewhere more convenient next time in Berlin.
If your business is in Kurfurstendam, then hotel is excellent.

AAnonymous UserPerfectly located — within easy walking distance to most major sights in Mitte like the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Philharmonic, and Checkpoint Charlie. For places a bit further out, there’s a train station right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around effortless. There’s even a dm grocery store just a minute’s walk away, which was super convenient.
The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with a full set of amenities provided from the start — something surprisingly rare in Europe. Overall, a very comfortable and well-thought-out stay. Highly recommend!

XXiaolankuangziThis hotel is quite suitable for young people, probably an 'influencer hotel.' You need to self-check-in, though you can request assistance if you encounter any issues. The hotel is very popular; it was packed during breakfast. They also offer bike rentals, and it's right next to a forest park. Crossing the park takes you straight to the city center. Overall, it's pretty good.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. Other than that, everything else was awesome.

GGuest UserOverall, I enjoyed my stay. The service was fantastic. My only criticism is that while the hotel is a bit older, it could definitely use some modernization. I found it odd that there were no lamps in the room; that's not really appropriate for a 4-star hotel. I ended up using a lampshade as a light source. As I said, the side tables and vanity are old but don't look bad. However, they could be improved. The breakfast was very good.
