"The hotel is very nice, well located, near the metro. Everything was great, except for the fact that there were only one outlet near the bed, not both, which was inconvenient. We also had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi (it kept disconnecting, making it impossible to use at times). Otherwise, the hotel is excellent! If you don't care about outlets and internet, this is a 10/100!"

"Location: Right outside Berlin Hbf (central station), incredibly convenient! I highly recommend staying at a hotel within a 5-minute walk of the Hbf if you're only in a city for less than 2 days – it significantly boosts your travel happiness.
Breakfast: I absolutely have to rave about the breakfast setting at this hotel. It's a full sunroom and very artistic. Absolutely fantastic.

"I absolutely love this hotel! The breakfast is excellent and the quality is amazing! Location is good and the comfort is top notch. The only improvement that could be made is to have the complimentary bottled water refilled. They only provide it for the first day. "We and my daughter stayed two people. Our room was quite small but compact. The air was very cold, but the room was very warm. Thanks to the heat from the ground. Although the location was very central, there were many sorrows and homeless under the bridge on the road that was near us and we had to use to go to the transport lines. This was particularly worrying on the first day. If I go with my daughter once again, I'm staying here just because of this security concern."

"The hotel's location is perfect. It's right around the corner from the south exit of Berlin Central Station. The first building you see is HUAZHU's European flagship, and the Intercity Hotel is the building right after that. You can even see it from the train, and the hotel has views of the station, which is a huge plus. Berlin Station's transport can be a bit complicated, so it's a great choice if you're new to the city.
The room itself was fine – basic facilities, clean, and a bit business-oriented.
My main issue was with the staff's very average attitude (hard to rate, honestly). They don't offer luggage storage themselves; you have to use a third-party locker service within the hotel, which is extremely expensive. A large locker costs €14 per day, completely messing up my plans for exploring after check-out. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel for day-trippers. Sometimes, the price difference between this hotel and the five-star one next door is only a small amount, so why wouldn't you choose the other? I can't think of a reason to stay here again. This is also the first time I've encountered a hotel in Europe/abroad that doesn't offer luggage storage. If this had been made clear before booking, I wouldn't have reserved a room."

"The hotel location is superb and really worth its value. The staff are also excellent with their services.
Few observations for the management:
The pillows are too soft and not all travellers like soft pillows. This didn't allow me to enjoy my sleep at all. There should be an option to choose between hard and soft pillows just the way options are given between two beds or large for the queen's room.
Secondly, there should be a chair where customers can sit and relax their backs when lodging. I was forced to sit in the bed throughout when I wanted to relax and study. So many hotels like Intercity hotel have chairs in their rooms for customers."

"The tissue box ran out on the first day and wasn't refilled. There was one large bottle of mineral water. There's a huge, intimidating tiger picture on the elevator door; honestly, it startled me every time the doors opened. It's a bit noisy being next to the train station."

"The rule that you need to ask for cleaning before 11am at reception is weird. The QR cosde that was given to ask for cleaning did not work and you have to sta long queue with those who check in and out in the morning. Finally, we hardly managed to ask for towels change. Strange and uncomfortable. Otherwise ok hotel in a good location."

Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

It's also right next to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and very close to Kurfürstendamm, so dining options are plentiful. The room was clean and the facilities were quite new. I was very satisfied with my three-night stay! Berlin is a really fun city.

GGuest UserUnfortunately, the pool was closed and the sauna was required to login and the sauna area was able to use just 1 hour. The opening hours of the sauna from 14:00 to 20:00 on weekends are absolutely unacceptable for such a luxury hotel. We were very angry about it. When booking we have not received any information about the time in the spa is so regulated and it is completely closed in the pool area. At the reception, we received information that the pool was closed due to energy saving measures and also lacked staff. We believe that then the overnight prices must be adjusted accordingly if a significant part of the services cannot be provided. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy our stay as we intended!

From a ”red carpet” rolled out in the hallways in line with their theme, to a handwritten welcome card with Bulow candy (Yum!), pictograms next to the light buttons, and lights that go on automatically when entering the room and give you 30 seconds to find the key card holder.

From the moment I arrived, the overall atmosphere felt welcoming and well organized. GGuest UserWonderful hotel with great rooms, very stylish and good facilities. The breakfast is great, in the evening there is a DJ in the courtyard and the service and attentiveness of the staff is very good.
The Stue is fully recommended and we would be happy to come back next time we are in Berlin.

We tried ordering room service but we didn’t have a way to do it and when we called reception they basically told us to just look in the room for the menu. We only had a breakfast one. I stayed for 2 nights in a mixed dorm with three bunk beds and en-suite. The toilet and shower are separate which makes use easier. Hanson’s and shower gel is included, as is a hairdryer.
The room is spacious with tables and seating areas, this is also of use to those who on the top bunk who cannot sit on their bed as easily. There is a mirror though a lack of hooks being only a hook and couple of hangers. The bed is of a metal frame and thus I was able to apply my travel straps and hooks to create places to hand my coat and bag. There is a locker big enough to take hand luggage sized bag (own lock needed). The bed has a usb port for charging and a slot into which a phone will fit, though no individual light. The room has two lights and it is possible to turn on only one; the other people in my room came in and out at unsociable hours though we’re all respectful being quiet and also putting in the main light.
The mattress and pillow are comfy enough, you need to collect linen and make the bed yourself.

Reception is 24 hours though checking us via one of the 4 automated screens. It is through the machines that you do check in and pay tourist tax and the machine prints paper with your allocated room and bed number. You even activate the room card yourself. There is a sign in the desk with a map of blocks with room numbers in each one. That is all the welcome that you get; there is no explanation related to hostel layout or facilities. I had to ask in which direction to go to get to my block, the receptionist gave my directions and once I got to the room and found no bedding on the bed so went back to reception. The check in computer screen states that bed linen is provided free of charge and towels can be paid for at reception. The receptionist did not give me any bedding nor point to where to where to pick it up some thus I assumed the linen would be laid on the bed as in other hostels. The next day a person arriving in the room asked where he gets bed linen, he also did not get given any bedding even when talking with the receptionist. I do find it odd that you are expected to ask for the bedding: as this is the case I recommend updating the wording on the computer screen as it is ambiguous and gives the impression you only need to ask at reception if needing a towel.
There is a guest kitchen which has basic equipment: fridge, sink, microwave, 2 hot plates, 2 frying pans, 1 saucepan, some plates, bowls and some cutlery. There was one mug in which I made a cup of tea by heating water in the microwave. I recommend a kettle to boil water. The kitchen is sufficient for simple meals, making breakfast and sandwiches. I did not try the hostel breakfast.
There is one common area near reception with a bar and possibility to purchase food. Vending machines there. WiFi reliable. The common room can feel cramped when groups are there. There is good security as all entrance doors and lifts use card access. To access the guest kitchen ask at reception and they update your card.
The location is very good being 5 min walk from Ostkreuz train station. It is a direct line to Messe Nord where the bus station and FlixBus stop is. Easy to get public transportation into the cities. There are many shops, supermarkets and eating places nearby. Vegan kebab shop directly opposite.
Good value for money. I had a comfortable stay with no difficulties and I would stay again.

GGuest UserNice hostel, I stayed in a room to myself. The room didn’t have towels but they were available to lease with a cash-only deposit-along with hair blower. Location was far away from food places and Berlin in general. But if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay, this is it. The staff were great and friendly
