I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic!
The host was so helpful and attentive.
My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!)
Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too.

Left waiting outside property in rain as unable to enter building for 5 minute.
When staff did let us in no apology and told “ well I’m on my own so couldn’t let you in”
Since when is that the customers issue ?
Not given the room I booked which was to be a four poster room.
Told “ oh well at least you have a nice view”

Guest UserThe hotel is located in the old city, within ten minutes walk to various attractions, the room is large and clean, not convenient enough is that there is no kettle in the room, you need to boil water or drink tea and coffee to get the hotel living room (free), and the other room 25 is downstairs in the hotel lounge, walking upstairs, Move the chair sound clear into the ear, more noisy!

EgfchanHotel is in great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was as described and is clean and comfortable. Negatives are that the hotel carpark is actually a public carpark and not part of the hotel but was not a big issue for me. And there was a lot of walking to get to the assigned room from the lift & stairs. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay and I would come again.

Victoria/TheTravelingPoetAbbey Hotel Bath was so conveniently located with very helpful and friendly staff. We booked an extra day and they were so helpful. The room was lovely, the bed comfortable and I would recommend staying there to anyone. It’s closely situated near the Abbey, the Roman Bath site, Sally Lunn’s Buns and lots of beautiful shops and buildings. A quintessential and wonderful place to stay while visiting Bath!

Self check in was a bit strange as we have not experienced that before in Bath however it worked extremely well and as the instructions were emailed it was simple.
The room was stunning and huge! We stayed in Room 1 which was on the lower ground floor.
The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower and the bath in the room was an unusual but nice surprise.
Breakfast is pretty ordered and was absolutely outstanding.
The staff were so pleasant and helpful- we will return!

Guest UserIt’s a little bit far from the city center, and without a car you have to walk uphill. Also, there was some renovation work going on at the hotel in early March, so we were woken up by the noise. But the overall experience is great, very clean, the staff were very helpful.
The library and lounge were cozy and lovely.

Guest UserWe had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent.
We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared with everything I needed. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere — it was the perfect place to relax after a long day.
The location was also very convenient, close to local shops and attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep.
Overall, this guesthouse offers comfort, warmth, and great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

Anonymous UserOur family room was located in the basement, and the bathroom door was right next to the head of the bed. When opened, the toilet faced the bed directly. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, so after showering, the steam lingered for a long time. Since it was so close to the bed, we couldn't leave the door open to air it out; we had to keep it closed and let it get stuffy, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The front desk staff were quite indifferent; they didn't even respond when we said thank you.
