Homestays in Bath

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable I slept really well. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location is great and very convenient for getting around. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay, and I would definitely come back and stay here again on my next visit.

The hostess is very welcoming, the room is clean, warm, with shoes, the breakfast is good, a typical English breakfast, the hostess is very patient to let us choose. The overall environment is good. Parking is possible. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the Baths

Breakfast can choose a traditional English breakfast, very good, if you want to park, the owner has a permit to stop across the road, to add 5 pounds, check out in the morning to find the beauty in the kitchen. Google uses the zip code is not reliable, the postal code is behind the parking lot, 500 meters nearby, cross the road to go down, there is a big sainbury supermarket near the river, through the parking lot is the royal new moon, the location is good.

A typical British family homestay, there are five rooms, we were full when we came, all British, it should be good for local reputation. The old lady of the landlord was very enthusiastic and kept in touch with our email. The housing facilities are a bit old, the size of the bed is a typical single size of foreigners, relatively small, the shower water is small, there is no washing machine or dryer. Breakfast can be booked in advance and delivered to the room. The location of the homestay is on the side of the road, and the taxi is at the door, which is very easy to find. But the location is on the mountain, it is very easy to walk down the mountain to the town, you must take a taxi back, otherwise you will be very tired to climb the mountain. There is a Alexandra Park near the homestay, which is a classic location overlooking the small town of Bath. It takes about ten minutes to walk. In addition, the picture given by Trip.com for the appearance of a door is not a picture of the homestay, which is subject to the picture I sent.

We booked this hotel last minute and we were delighted by the quality, location and service. The breakfast was cooked to order with high quality ingredients. It was wonderful to stay in such a beautiful Geirgian townhouse so close to the Abbey. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious and in excellent condition. The staff were all friendly and made sure our stay was remarkable and we will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed at Wentworth House for one night. The location was handy — only about a 6 or 7-minute taxi ride into the centre of Bath. Parking on site was free, which is always a bonus, though spaces were limited. The shower worked fine with good hot water, and at £120 a night for three people, the price wasn’t unreasonable for Bath. On the downside, the place is very dated and could do with some serious modernisation. Our room had a noticeable damp smell and the single-glazed windows didn’t help keep the room warm or quiet. I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat there, but overall, it’s an okay option if you just need somewhere for a night and aren’t too fussy — though a refresh would really lift the place.
