Amazing
Aa4292The hotel is a bit out of the way, and while the surroundings are very quiet, it felt a little unsafe to go out after dark. It was a pleasant surprise that the front desk staff had their own translation device, and the restaurant even offered hot water, showing the hotel's inclusivity and genuine hospitality towards guests from all over the world. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and parking was convenient.
DDanielleLenOn arrival we were greeted and given our room key by a pleasant gentleman with no issues, we stayed on the 4th floor, room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, We have never booked with roomzz before but we will definitely be booking again.
XXige1993The room was nice, the view was great, and the breakfast was good too. The only downside was the lack of privacy in the bathroom, which was a bit awkward; a curtain would be a good idea. The location is a little inconvenient if you're walking the whole way without taking a taxi, but overall it was good!
GGuest UserNice hotel, great location. Rooms are nicely decorated.
We had a room that looked into the back courtyard so not much to see and it was a bit on the dark side.
A few niggles. The shower is a bath combined and it's a decent climb in so not for someone less mobile. In addition, the shower head is fixed so difficult to stand under it - it tends to hit you in the chest or back.
I would still recommend it for it's style and convenient location to the city centre.
FFengyesuixingI don't recommend this store very much. First of all, if it is not a self-driving car, it is really not recommended to choose. There is nothing around except the grass. I chose it because it is close to Anik Castle. Secondly, I gave a disabled accessible room with the most outside bar. The room was big, but the shelves for hanging clothes were low and scary, and the shower was low, which was not friendly to those of us who were tall. There is also the exhaust of the room. We thought it was not working. We only knew that the exhaust of these international chain hotels in the UK was connected to the air conditioner after staying in the hotel, but the people in charge of the project also said that it was broken. Let us change the room. We have already opened the box on the same day. Personal supplies, I didn't want to move around again, so I was worried all night that the shower would slip wet. Breakfast was pure British buffet, nothing to pick. The experience is that if it is not for special reasons or if you have a car, it is not recommended to book this hotel. When you book, you will clearly inform the floor that you do not have a barrier-free room. Especially the Chinese people ask for it clearly. Try the facilities first when entering the room. If you have any problems, you will ask for a room change in time. Don't believe these so-called international brands, sometimes it may be better to stay in a cheap hotel chain like the local British Premium.
AAnonymous UserFrankly, the size of the room is beyond my imagination, very spacious apartment. The kitchen has everything that should be set. You can make breakfast and dinner yourself. We have one night to make our own seafood dinner. You can wash clothes. It feels like home. The facilities are old. Travel is also very convenient, very close to the train station and supermarket, will consider here next time.
GGuest UserStaff seem friendly and welcoming enough. For the price of the stay for a city location it’s cheap.
Only complaint I have is about the shower gels/ shampoo. My advice would be to take your own as you only can get a ‘trickle’ of liquid out at best. This is an issue that needs addressing for sure.
GGuest UserFriendly staffs, fairly clean room and bathroom, decent breakfast. Location rather quiet but if you enjoy the relaxing vibe, it would be a great place to stay. Starbucks is located just at the lobby. Definitely wheelchair or baby stroller accessible. The lift is rather small, perhaps could upgrade to a larger lift? Overall, good stay.
GGuest UserI booked the Vermont Aparthotel for a business trip to Newcastle, and my mum joined me, hence handy to book an apartment for more space. Great location, friendly stuff with good restaurant recommendations! We truly enjoyed it and would book the Vermont Aparthotel again next time.
PPieter BrolsmaGreat if you have to be in this area, nice bars inside the hotel. It is a bit outdated compared to more modern hotels and personally I don't like carpet flooring too much but it's typical in the older hotels in the UK, at least they were clean and had no bad smell. Supermarket very close by. Metrostation jesmond West around 6 minutes walking distance.
