Loved the spaciousness and views of the room. Service was helpful. Minibar drinks were free and replenished regularly along with tea/coffee pods. Enjoyed Infit their gym also. A microwave would have been a nice touch. Overall recommended though be prepared to use stairs or walk uphill to get to the main center.

Carolanne McInallyVery good location next to train station. Very quiet location but also orime for shopping and night life. Short walk. Local shops and takeaways. Abundance of chain restaurants short distance. Apartments very clean, and had everything required. Was better than a hotel stay. Could cook and had dishwasher if needed. Free 24 hour tea and coffee from lobby and complimentary quants in the morning. Staff are very friendly and helped for local restaurant selection. They also support the homeless when you purchases slippers.
They also offer discount for a car park 5 min walk away. Would definitely stay here again

Guest UserWhat a perfect location for a flight from Newcastle.. The room was massive , beautiful bedding, fridge , kettle , coffee etc and a delicious complimentary cookie when we checked in. We ate in the Italian restaurant where the waiter and waitresses were so smiley and helpful. Wonderful service . We’ll be back for certain

chaonan huangWe had a really good stay here. The staff were kind, helpful, and professional throughout. When our air conditioning was not working properly, we called for assistance and someone came to check it within five minutes, which was impressive. At check-in, the staff also recommended some places to visit nearby, which was very helpful. Breakfast was made to order, so you could choose what you liked from the menu. I thought this was a brilliant idea, as it helps reduce waste and gives guests more choice.

Frankly, the size of the room is beyond my imagination, very spacious apartment. The kitchen has everything that should be set. You can make breakfast and dinner yourself. We have one night to make our own seafood dinner. You can wash clothes. It feels like home. The facilities are old. Travel is also very convenient, very close to the train station and supermarket, will consider here next time.

Ch3st3rGood location, not too far of a walk to the metro station, convenience with restaurant (chain), groceries shop and petrol station closed by. The hotel was average with only one lift working tho, comfortable bed but pillow isn't, good hand and shower Rituals products but our shower gel not been refilled and just thinning - we had to ask them to refill, average breakfast, big carpark

Guest UserThe location is excellent, directly opposite Newcastle train station. The day before, I stayed at the Hampton next door. The price increased significantly the next day, so I moved to this one, which had a stable price. However, it was really bad, and I advise my fellow countrymen to be cautious about staying here.
The room itself matched the merchant's photos. The bathroom was generally spacious, but there was a significant waste of space. It shouldn't have been designed like this after a renovation. I've never seen such a ridiculously designed sink; the faucet is too close to the basin, so simply washing your hands causes water to spill all over the floor. There's also no floor drain in the bathroom, so we had to cover the entire floor with towels.
Also, a £50 deposit is required upon check-in, authorized via credit card. Other hotels usually release it immediately upon checkout. I specifically asked when checking out, and they said it would take 'a few days.' I don't understand why. I waited a week and it still wasn't refunded. After Ctrip customer service intervened, it was immediately refunded. Truly outrageous.
Personally, I think as long as the Hampton by Hilton next door isn't more than 50% more expensive, I'd still recommend staying at the Hampton. It has better facilities, includes breakfast, and the service is better. Don't come here to be annoyed.

IslandgalI was unable to make the booking as my father sadly had a stroke the day before we travelled. I called the hotel to explain the situation and to request a change of date for the booking within the next few weeks but they told me it was non refundable and that I booked it with Trip.com so there was nothing they could do. So I lost my money and never got to rebook. Very disappointing under the circumstances.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. However, when got back to our room in the evening, there was a loud disco going on above us, from the brochure of the hotel it was indicated this would end at midnight. We still heard it at 2am . We also tried to order room service and got no answer on phone.
Finally, we were woken at 8am Sunday morning by what sounded like cleaners moving all the furniture and scrapping the floor.
We mentioned it on checking out, and although the staff apologised, it did not sound very sincere. Would be reluctant to return .

Great if you have to be in this area, nice bars inside the hotel. It is a bit outdated compared to more modern hotels and personally I don't like carpet flooring too much but it's typical in the older hotels in the UK, at least they were clean and had no bad smell. Supermarket very close by. Metrostation jesmond West around 6 minutes walking distance.
