Great
AAnonymous UserAn amazing stay at Hampton by Hilton Newcastle! The location is unbeatable—just 2-minute walk from Newcastle Central Station, and only 10 minutes to Quayside and St. James’ Park, super convenient for travel and sightseeing.
The free hot breakfast was fantastic, with fresh waffles, classic English breakfast and even porridge, perfect for all tastes. The room was clean, quiet and cozy, with a comfy bed, ergonomic work desk and free high-speed WiFi, ideal for both leisure and business trips.
24-hour front desk offered great service with luggage storage, and the 24-hour gym with Peloton bikes was a nice bonus.
GGuest UserPoor quality Wi-Fi, couldn’t work as kept bugging out. Gluten/dairy free options for breakfast limited. Picked hotel for pool for the family but everytime we went there it was fully occupied. Should be able to book or limit people’s time in there to allow others to use facilities, family were very disappointed
Ttraveller83Great location very close to Central Station.
Would recommend it as it's situated in a relatively quiet part of the city not sure what it would be like if a footie game is on as stadium is quite close by
We booked two double standard rooms and both were clean, had ironing boards, tea and coffee, shampoo, shower gel and handwash but that was it. TV and hairdryer also.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming - the guy who was checked us in was very friendly and professional and I can't recall his name but he wore glasses..
Buffet breakfast was sufficient -it's as good as it comes for Holiday Inn. I would come stay here again.
AAfolabj AjalaLove the fact that it is close to the best bars in Newcastle. Also few minutes walk from the train station. The room is nice and clean. Overall enjoyed my stay. Definitely coming back soon
AAnonymous UserVery disappointing. Indeed hoping that sheraton will bring something special but it is not better than a basic 2 stars hotel. I would NOT recommend except fot the location. Its small room! Very tiny bathroom where you cant even walk! Shocking! There is no water hose for shower! It was honestly disappointing so if you have choice avoid this one
GGuest UserStaff seem friendly and welcoming enough. For the price of the stay for a city location it’s cheap.
Only complaint I have is about the shower gels/ shampoo. My advice would be to take your own as you only can get a ‘trickle’ of liquid out at best. This is an issue that needs addressing for sure.
11863528****The room was very spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It was clean and tidy, and the shower had good water pressure. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. It's only a 5-minute walk to the train station. However, the front desk didn't hand over my passport when I checked in, which caused some delays during check-out the next morning.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located next to Newcastle Central station minutes from the Cathedral, the Castle, the centre of the city near Monument. The hotel entrance has a faded grandeur that isn't intimidating, more comfortably worn. The room was cosy with bathtub and shower. The WiFi was a little temperamental but works fine. A plus for me was the pool and spa facilities at the hotel. Nothing better than a swim to start the day. Excellent location and good value hotel.
GGuest UserI booked the Vermont Aparthotel for a business trip to Newcastle, and my mum joined me, hence handy to book an apartment for more space. Great location, friendly stuff with good restaurant recommendations! We truly enjoyed it and would book the Vermont Aparthotel again next time.
GGuest UserRoom ok, staff friendly, downstairs is the Blance bar where you have 25% discount on food and drink, the only negative note is the breakfast is not like in the photos and they don't have a coffee machine but a machine that dispenses everything with blends
