5-Star Hotels in Anshun

The scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

Yaojia Waterfall Village Hotel is located right inside the Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

After traveling through Guizhou, I stayed in various hotels in Guiyang and other places for a few days, and they were all decent. However, this hotel in Anshun was surprisingly the most hassle-free. Daisy upgraded my room to a Deluxe View King with a large balcony, offering a fantastic view of the mountains in the distance and the lawn below. Waking up in the morning and stretching out on the balcony really energized me. The balcony also had a bathtub, and soaking in hot water in the evening was very relaxing. A huge bonus was the laundry room, equipped with a dryer and laundry detergent. After a sweaty day exploring the sights, I could just throw my clothes in to wash, and they'd be ready to wear the next day. No need to pile them up and take them home, which is incredibly convenient for travelers. The front desk was also quick to respond to any requests. All in all, this Anshun hotel provided a comfortable end to my trip. In the evening, I even saw beautiful radiating twilight from the hotel's lawn, which was stunning.

The hotel's location is excellent; turn left outside, and you can catch a tourist bus to various scenic routes. The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

This was by far the best B&B I stayed at during my trip to Guizhou. I'd stayed at a Yaojia property in Zhejiang before, so it felt familiar when I booked it. The service was excellent, and for the price, it was absolutely worth it. The scenery outside the hotel is stunning and perfect for photos. We even got permission to fly our drone to capture the Detian Waterfall. There aren't many dining options nearby, but the food at the B&B was fantastic – delicious and incredibly generous portions. I never expected the pickled cabbage fish to have 10 catfish! Two people definitely couldn't finish it all. Next time I visit Anshun, I'd definitely consider staying here again. The Yaojia next door is owned by the same person, so I might try that one out next time too.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, less than a 5-minute walk from the No. 3 sightseeing bus stop, which is the closest stop to the scenic area. The hotel facilities are very new, and the management style resembles that of a large chain hotel. Room service is handled by robots. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable and spacious. The hotel has its own underground parking lot, making it very convenient for those traveling by car. There's a food street right across from the hotel, so dining is super easy. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Huangguoshu. On our first day, we entered the park around 3 PM, avoiding the peak crowds. We visited the Great Waterfall, Doupotang, and even got a bird's-eye view, and there weren't many people around. On the second day, we woke up early and took the sightseeing bus to Tianxingqiao around 6:40 AM. It was very uncrowded, and there was no congestion at all. We had finished our visit and returned to the hotel by 9:30 AM. This off-peak travel strategy was fantastic. Huangguoshu Waterfall is definitely worth a visit; it's truly magnificent. The hotel's excellent location also contributed greatly to our experience.

The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to many attractions and points of interest. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. Upon arrival, they provided useful recommendations for nearby dining options and were always responsive to our requests. That afternoon, after returning from a late lunch, we heard renovation noise coming from a nearby area. When we requested a room change, two male staff members immediately assisted us and arranged for us to move to a room on a different floor. They also upgraded our room at no additional charge. Their prompt response and excellent customer service made our stay even more enjoyable.

The location is very good and convenient, the stay is very comfortable, the room facilities are high-end, and the price is affordable. Especially the front desk staff Xiao Wu, the check-in was very fast, the service was warm and thoughtful, very good!

To this day, the hotel has not offered a solution. They only called me on a landline to ask if I was feeling better. On the day of check-in, the linens were fine. The next day, when we extended our stay, we asked for a sheet change. Around 10 PM, after getting ready for bed, I rested on the bed for about half an hour and developed a small patch of red bumps. I immediately contacted the front desk. Later, a female duty manager proactively contacted me. She didn't come to inspect the linens but directly asked if I had any requests to make. By 8 AM the next morning, both of my legs were covered in an allergic reaction. I contacted the front desk again, and a male manager came. He didn't proactively offer to move us to a different room. Even after we checked out – because my child also had a fever – we left around 3 PM. Apparently, the hotel's linens are laundered by a third party. As a result, they still haven't provided a solution to this day, saying they need to report it to their superiors. The last duty supervisor who called us just asked if the leg allergy had disappeared. The worst part of this trip was staying at a hotel that carries a five-star brand, only to have issues arise and receive continuous calls without any proposed solutions. I hope everyone avoids this place.

Please pass on my sincere compliments to your reception staff, particularly the spectacle gentleman Xiao Wen. I was consistently impressed by their exceptional level of customer service. They combined genuine friendliness with efficient and proactive helpfulness, which significantly contributed to a positive and comfortable stay. At first，I was quite disappointed when I found the shower gel was empty, but the quick response from the team really honours their service.A great improvement after the previous visit.
