"This carefully selected hotel certainly didn't disappoint me!
We checked in around 3:30 PM after returning from Huangguoshu Waterfall.
The front desk staff was super thoughtful and upgraded our room because we were traveling with an elderly person, and the mountain view rooms can be a bit noisy due to the nearby train.
They also gave us a complimentary afternoon tea, which we thoroughly enjoyed before heading out for dinner.
Our butler, Xiao Hu, is truly an incredibly sweet girl – very responsive and super attentive.
Everyone should try Liu Laoshi Pianpian Fish; listening to the locals' recommendations never goes wrong! The fish slices were so tender, perfectly smooth and springy after just 10 seconds in the pot.
Picture 2 is a glimpse of the rice paddies (I think!) I caught while waiting for the elevator.
Upon checkout, they gave us a fridge magnet – excellent aesthetics and quality.

The room cleanliness also gets full marks; the bedding feels soft and comfortable, totally meeting five-star standards. Plus, the front desk service was very thoughtful, proactively informing us about nearby attractions' opening hours and reservation methods. The lake view room offers a wide panorama, and after the rain, the green mountains shrouded in mist look like a fairyland. The room was spotless, the bedding soft, and the soundproofing was good, allowing for a peaceful rest even though it's in a busy area. The front desk staff were very welcoming and efficient with check-in, even recommending local specialty dishes. There was plenty of hot water, stable internet, and all the amenities you need. Plus, there's free parking for those driving. It offers great value for money and is my top choice when visiting Anshun. I'll definitely stay here again."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I was a bit worried because some reviews mentioned outdated decor, but after checking in, I found the room to be spacious enough, and both the decor and cleanliness were excellent. The hotel's hot spring was open until 10 PM, and the staff were incredibly patient with the kids who were playing in the pool until past 10, never rushing them and waiting until they were done. When I found one of the hot spring pools to be a degree or two too cool for my liking, a staff member proactively offered to turn up the heat, even though it was already 9:30 PM. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The two girls at the front desk and the hot spring staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful. This is a very worthwhile hotel, and it will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Anshun."

"When we first arrived at the store, we felt the very good environment and service. We were very puzzled why we were the only room during the New Year? Until the night, the heating broke down and the lights in the whole room could not be turned on. The lady on duty actively contacted the person in charge, but the remote manager actually said: ”It's cold tonight, but you have to stand it!” We? ? ? ? ? ? I'm here for vacation, not to endure it!! There is no way to solve the problem at all! The reason why the occupancy rate is low is obviously a problem of management!
The place worth adding points is that the three local residents on duty immediately took out their own heating from home as soon as the heating broke down, and kept apologizing to us. The manager far away has not given us any greetings so far.

"The hotel's overall environment was decent, and the cleanliness was acceptable, but the breakfast was terrible. Furthermore, the staff was poorly trained! My experience was very bad and significantly affected my stay.
I had pre-booked a room, but at check-in, the front desk didn't seem to notice the prior room type change. They gave me the wrong room, and after realizing their mistake, they didn't proactively inform me. It was only when I entered the room and discovered the error that I went to the front desk, and they admitted they had indeed made a mistake.
Initially, they asked me to stay in that room for one night and switch to the correct room the next day. I explained that it was inconvenient and I didn't want to move back and forth; I wanted to get it sorted out that same day. The front desk agreed to move me (which I understood to mean they had a room where I could stay for the entire duration).
However, upon arriving at the new room, they said my booked room type wasn't available for today and offered to 'upgrade' me for one night, then switch me again tomorrow morning. That still means moving back and forth! My whole point in wanting to switch rooms was to avoid moving again on the second day!
The most irritating part was when a staff member told me, 'We won't charge you the price difference for this room today, as it's more expensive than yours!' I didn't ask for an upgrade! It sounded like they were implying I was getting a good deal, with a tone that suggested I should be grateful. I expressed my dissatisfaction on the spot, but the staff member didn't seem to care.
They repeatedly said, 'We're new, please be understanding of our mistakes.' Do you not find it ridiculous for a service industry business to ask customers to be understanding of *their* mistakes?"

"Our first stop on our Guizhou trip was Anshun, and we stayed at this veteran five-star hotel. As the old saying goes, even an old Ferrari is still a Ferrari.
They said it was just renovated in 2023, but honestly, I didn't notice much of a renovation, though everything still feels quite new and definitely acceptable. One minor flaw was a slight crack on the edge of the bathtub, but other than that, I had no complaints. The linens in the room were very well-maintained, and it came with a smart toilet. The shower had excellent water pressure, making for a very comfortable stay.
Attention to detail was superb. They provided disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. Every day, the room was stocked with two cans of milk and some small snacks. These aren't expensive items, but it shows incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. As a five-star hotel, their cleaning and hygiene standards are top-notch. Even the basic room type was very spacious and comfortable.
Since Anshun is all about the food, I initially didn't plan on booking breakfast with the hotel. However, I later booked a river tracing activity at Luoyang River, which required us to leave at 8:30 AM. So, I switched to a package that included a single breakfast, only paying an extra 15 RMB. The value for money was incredible! While the quality might not compare to a top-tier five-star hotel's buffet breakfast, nothing was overlooked – it had everything you could need. Seriously, for the price, the value was off the charts.
The hotel is a standalone building with an impressive and grand lobby. Food delivery can come directly to the room. Each floor requires a key card to access the elevators. Delivery drivers need to register at the front desk to get a temporary elevator card to reach the guest floors, so security is exceptionally tight.
During the peak summer travel season, I booked a basic room with a single breakfast for one night at 410 RMB through Ctrip. I genuinely feel this hotel offers incredible value for money, and my stay was extremely satisfying. The location is also excellent; a taxi ride to Gufu Street for snacks is practically the minimum fare."

AnxinyuliuyueThe scenery here is absolutely breathtaking – no complaints there! However, because the bungalows are located on the mountain, we did encounter a few small bugs. When it rained at night, the raindrops hitting the roof above our heads were a bit noisy. The shallow end of the pool isn't really for swimming, as it only comes up to an adult's knees, so it's more suitable for kids. The deep end, on the other hand, is too deep to touch the bottom, which makes it feel unsafe for non-swimmers – a real dilemma! The evening campfire and iced tea experience was truly wonderful. The roasted sweet potatoes, roasted tofu, and roasted chestnuts were all delicious. There was also a live singer until 9 PM, which was very pleasant. The food at the restaurant was also very good, especially the homemade cucumber water and carrot juice, which tasted incredibly pure. This guesthouse is also fantastic for photos – every shot turns out beautifully! Plus, it's right next to Baling Bridge, and Dripingtan Waterfall is just below.

Facilities: The washer-dryer combo is incredibly practical. A large shower! Disposable towels! Good quality slippers! And a large projector screen with a membership for movies!
Hygiene: Very clean!
Environment: Lots of food options nearby, so no need to rush to the Second Tourist Center for meals.
Service: The owner dropped us off at the First Tourist Center, which made getting to attractions and back to Anshun West very convenient. The hotel also stored our luggage for free. After a long day of sightseeing, I was exhausted and didn't want to go back to the hotel, so I contacted the owner, who enthusiastically helped us deliver our stored luggage to the First Tourist Center (it was the off-season, and I was charming!). In summary, it exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied!

The hotel's main entrance is about 150 meters to the right of the sightseeing bus's 'Grand Waterfall Station'. From the 'Grand Waterfall Station', you can catch sightseeing buses to all attractions and the main scenic area entrance, making getting around extremely convenient. For photography enthusiasts, if you wake up early and turn left out of the main entrance, walking along the pedestrian path will lead you to a viewing platform opposite the Grand Waterfall, often called 'God's perspective,' where you can wait for the sunrise. The hotel offers 24-hour 'butler service,' so you can voice any concerns in the butler group chat. The rooms are elegantly designed and fully equipped with amenities. Afternoon tea is delivered to your room, and the self-service breakfast offers a rich variety. We had a distinctive and memorable 'sour soup fish' for dinner. If you're driving, you can ask the butler to register your license plate with the scenic area, allowing your car to enter the scenic area and park in the hotel's parking lot. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel itself is quite good, with a well-equipped gym and laundry room, and the breakfast is also decent. Five-star praise goes to the hotel's operations manager! We met him when our child was playing in the pool, and he gave us many great tips on how to explore the Big Waterfall and other fun and tasty spots nearby. We followed his advice: in the morning, we went to Tianxingqiao, then did the 'Little Yellow Duck' rafting. Around 4 PM, we visited the Big Waterfall and walked through the Water Curtain Cave. At the exit, we tried Gongding tea. Because rafting took up some time, we had to skip Doupotang, saving it for a night tour next time. Finally, at Visitor Center No. 2, we used our package ticket for the 'Fly Over Huangguoshu' experience. It was a perfect day, and we're very grateful for the suggestions!

Guest UserClose to the high-speed train station, the rooms are quite spacious, and the hygiene facilities are excellent. One of the rooms had a smoke smell, and after reporting it to the front desk, they promptly sent a Xiaomi air purifier, which perfectly solved the problem. The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade.
Anshun West High-Speed Train Station pickup: The pickup service was quick, and the car was clean and odor-free.

Guest UserTo this day, the hotel has not offered a solution. They only called me on a landline to ask if I was feeling better. On the day of check-in, the linens were fine. The next day, when we extended our stay, we asked for a sheet change. Around 10 PM, after getting ready for bed, I rested on the bed for about half an hour and developed a small patch of red bumps. I immediately contacted the front desk. Later, a female duty manager proactively contacted me. She didn't come to inspect the linens but directly asked if I had any requests to make. By 8 AM the next morning, both of my legs were covered in an allergic reaction. I contacted the front desk again, and a male manager came. He didn't proactively offer to move us to a different room. Even after we checked out – because my child also had a fever – we left around 3 PM. Apparently, the hotel's linens are laundered by a third party. As a result, they still haven't provided a solution to this day, saying they need to report it to their superiors. The last duty supervisor who called us just asked if the leg allergy had disappeared. The worst part of this trip was staying at a hotel that carries a five-star brand, only to have issues arise and receive continuous calls without any proposed solutions. I hope everyone avoids this place.

WuxianlvjudeguodaThe front desk staff were warm and polite, and the room was incredibly comfortable with very clean floors. It was a really pleasant stay. They even offer a free shuttle to Huaguoshan and the Great Waterfall, and there's a cute delivery robot that brought our meals, which was a huge hit with the kids! It created some wonderful memories. Highly recommend.

Right in the heart of the ancient city, just step out and you're on Gufu Street Snack Street. It's a short walk to the Confucius Temple and Martial Temple, and incredibly convenient for exploring the ancient city and enjoying the lantern-lit night views. Perfect for couples strolling hand-in-hand, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
🛏️ Romantic & Comfortable Rooms
We stayed in a spacious and bright king-size room. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. The bathroom was spotless, with a separate wet and dry area, and even a smart toilet – very thoughtful details.
🍳 Delicious Breakfast
The restaurant has a fresh and elegant ambiance, offering a wide array of Chinese and Western options, plus plenty of local snacks. Enjoying a leisurely breakfast with my loved one was pure bliss.
💁 Super Warm Service
The front desk staff were welcoming and attentive. They proactively upgraded our room and recommended some off-the-beaten-path attractions. Any requests were handled promptly, making us feel completely at home throughout our stay.

The environment is also very good, and it is very convenient to go shopping next to the snack street.
