This business trip to Phnom Penh, I chose the newly opened Steigenberger Hotel Phnom Penh, and it truly exceeded my expectations! I absolutely have to write a detailed review to share my experience. The hotel is located in the Morgan Tower on Diamond Island, Phnom Penh, standing at approximately 230 meters tall, making it a local landmark. The location is central and convenient, and the surrounding area is very safe with controlled access, which gave me great peace of mind. The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and clean, with new and comprehensive facilities. The most stunning feature was the view from the window – a 270-degree panoramic view of the Mekong River. During the day, you can see the convergence of the three rivers with an expansive vista, and at night, the city lights sparkle. The room also had a complimentary mini-bar, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was served on the 46th floor restaurant, offering a rich variety of Western, Chinese, and Asian options. I heard that their Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant features a master chef, and the quality is outstanding. When checking in, the front desk staff were very thoughtful. After hearing about my situation, they proactively upgraded my room type. The service throughout my stay was impeccable, and the staff spoke fluent English, so communication was completely seamless. The rooftop infinity pool is said to offer exceptional views, overlooking the Mekong River and the city skyline. There are also high-altitude banquet halls, executive lounges, a fitness center, and a spa, catering to both business and leisure needs. This stay truly far exceeded my expectations and completely changed my perception of hotels in Phnom Penh. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Phnom Penh. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phnom Penh for business or leisure!

Room was a family suite and it was cozy for family of 3-4 but note that there is only 1 bathroom. So for family with older kids may not be the best. Otherwise facilities are amazing. Staffs are super attentive and friendly. Service is promopt. Food is delicious in all restaurants!

I was very satisfied with my stay this time! The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and polite. Check-in and check-out were very quick, and they thoughtfully answered all my questions, making me feel very well taken care of. The room was clean and tidy, the environment was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. The bed was also very comfortable, so I slept soundly. The hotel's location is convenient, and the overall experience was fantastic. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit and will recommend it to my friends. Undoubtedly a perfect score! 💯 This is a fantastic hotel with impeccable service, an excellent location, and absolutely stunning architecture. I believe the hotel was built upon an existing old structure, and the style is simply breathtaking. Especially at night 🌃, it has a super cool vibe – my photos honestly don't do it justice. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and had everything perfectly arranged. When I arrived in the middle of the night and saw two other groups checking in, I knew I had made the right hotel choice. The hotel is situated near the Royal Palace and close to the National Museum, placing it right in the heart of the main tourist area. Most attractions are within walking distance, making it the perfect choice for travelers. I *must* mention the breakfast here; it's incredibly high quality, almost perfect. They truly understand guest needs and provide a high standard of options. A simple example is the yogurt: they don't offer generic supermarket products but instead provide homemade, unsweetened yogurt. To cater to different tastes, you have choices like plain, with passion fruit, or with diced mango. They emphasize fresh, high-quality ingredients, a comfortable and beautiful dining environment, a rich selection of low-sugar options, mild flavors, and attentive service. You definitely need to try it. Special thanks to the front desk and the restaurant. Because we had to catch a very early flight, they specially prepared convenient packed meals for us upon request, which we picked up at the front desk at 5:30 AM. That was fantastic! This is the best hotel choice in Phnom Penh.

I enjoy the stay there. The room is huge, clean and modern. Good for spending sometime just around 20-30mins drive out of town n relax.

This is my 2nd time at the Sokha in Phnom Penh and both times were fantastic. I will stay again for sure. The rooms are incredible - clean - huge - high ceilings, great view. My friends and I referred to it as “the palace” the first time. It is so luxurious and a wonderful treat. The pool is clean and enormous. The workout room is clean, open with a nice view and has fantastic machines. The spa is lovely. They have several restaurants. I cannot resist the rooftop and only chose that one. Prices were reasonable for the value. The staff is so friendly. Senh at the front desk took extra care to make sure I was comfortable. It is on the “other” side of the river but you can cross on the car ferry for 25 cents (R1000)and are right in all the action on the other side. Sorry I forgot to take room photos but here is the pool and view from my room!

Housekeeping was not done thoroughly. Bed sheet was not change as strains were visible seen. Understand the room was mentioned upgraded but as compared to my colleague's room, there is 3 seater sofa. Breakfast start 6am but items are not ready. Simple fried eggs when approach was not available too. 2 weeks stay, not a single day the breakfast in ready in time except i wake up later at Sunday morning.. Food quality is good with varieties. loud bass echo can be heard till morning 6 am breakfast time. Lobby service is good. Staff are polite too. Laundry service is prompt on time as promised.

Residence room is not like phone ,but the manager help to upgrade it , do we got a wonderful stay and get a better view! Morning buffet is good!

Every time I visit Phnom Penh, I stay at this hotel. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful. The pool and gym are clean. The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the parking security guards are amiable. The foot massage parlor on the first floor of the hotel is also really nice! Plus, there are so many mango trees in the garden outside. It's also very close to the Royal Palace, less than 200 units away.
