Great
GGuest UserBooked a room for three people. The room had one queen-sized bed and one 3-foot small bed. It was a corner room with a window and a balcony. The location was okay, 100 meters from the main road. There was free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was okay. The noodles were very salty. Overall, it was okay.
NNadine NFavourite Hotel Ever!! As usual, it never disappoints. Truly remarkable that this is my 4th visit and I still get the same exceptional service and staff remember me. It is nice that they treat returning visitors as VIPs and are willing to factor this in when considering certain concessions.
I had accidentally spilled my chocolate frappe on the sheets. The hotel charge me for the replacement cost (which was totally fair) and discounted the cost since I am their “loyal customer). I’m not saying they should always do this but it certainly impressed me that they considered all my visits and friends I’d encouraged to stay over. Besides this though they are still usually reasonable with such things.
Per usual, there is everything around to make your stay completely seamless from shops to pharmacies to restaurants, etc.
The room service is 24 hours and excellent. Quality produce and delivery.
Staff, especially check in are very kind and helpful. I was really impressed by the check-in guy as I land early hours of the morning and he was very efficient. Plus, they had switched on the AC and the room was very comfortable after the long journey.
Having written many reviews for this hotel, there is not much more I can say as they continue to improve and maintain very high standards.
My only complaints are that the pool closes far too early at 8pm. I hope the hotel could consider extending the time. Secondly, the 4th four does not have a designated smoking section so it can become quite thick with the smoke smell. They might consider arranging ashtrays at more places than just the lift.
A UM
Undoubtedly, my hotel of choice whenever I’m in PP. Thank you to everyone for your kindness and making my stay, once again, truly wonderful! 🌹🌹
MMuxi456An absolutely perfect experience. The views are excellent; the west side faces the Mekong River, and the east side faces the Royal Palace, with the east side being much quieter. The service is attentive; someone helped with my luggage as soon as I got out of the car, and the front desk staff were very kind. The room facilities are new, soundproofing is good, and the shower amenities are L'Occitane. Breakfast is of French standard. To be more economical, it's an à la carte menu. Both Western and Chinese options are available, and everything is prepared exquisitely.
GGuest UserMy stay coincided with the king’s coronation holiday and I was certainly in for treat! Three nights of fireworks, how lucky! I even got to witness a ceremony of sorts from my room window (red carpet and the full works).
The hotel’s location is amazing with unmatched views of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum Park and from the rooftop infinity pool on the 12th floor, a breathtaking view of the river!
Just a short walk on the main road, you’ll find a small Daily Mart with necessities, the victory monument just across the road, and Brown Cafe (it’s not the only branch but it’s the coolest-looking one with a little glass house centre and good cold drip coffee).
While the hotel doesn’t have a gym, Phnom Penh is a relatively walkable city and you can definitely get your steps in while exploring.
Don’t miss the sunset - absolutely stunning from the pool. You can order food from the restaurant (the hotel’s only restaurant on the 11th floor) and they’ll serve it to you poolside.
Breakfast and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is average at best and you’re much better off having it at Brown Cafe just 2 min walk from the hotel, or any of the local eateries nearby.
When I checked in, the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe king room but I noticed a strong smell of turpentine or some chemical sealant that stung my eyes. It was likely from some recent repair works. Turning up the AC and opening the windows solved it.
Bonus points for the bedding - super comfortable. Had the best sleep and there were mornings where I had to pull myself out of bed.
But the best part of this comfortable fuss-free hotel is the warm hospitality and service from the hotel staff. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. Special shoutout to Thiya from the front desk for helping me out when I broke a glass in the bathroom, and for his patience with my incessant queries. I’ll certainly be back!
GGuest UserExcellent casino hotel. Please be prepared for a deposit upon check-in.

They offer valet parking, and it's very close to the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, about 1 kilometer away. A tuk-tuk ride costs around 10 RMB.
DDr.IELTSNestled in the pulsating heart of Duan Penh, Ostro Hotel & Gastro Pub offers an urban oasis for travelers seeking both comfort and excitement. Ostro Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's an experience that encapsulates the spirit of Phnom Penh.
RRobsastarOn this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda.
A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold.
Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife.
Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view.
Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that!
Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient.
Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me.
Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK.
Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.
GGuest UserI booked a room here for 5 nights and then even extended my stay for another 2 nights. The hotel is located quite central in the city, so it is easy to get around.
The room was clean and nice. The staff is friendly and speaks English well and - not that it's important - the girls at the front desk looked really cute ;o).
In other reviews I read complaints about the hotel not having hot water (but just a rooftop solar water heater), which is true but was not a problem for me at all. Reality is that it never gets cold anyway and therefore the water also never gets really cold.
I recommend it and would stay here again - no doubt about that.
BBellaN5The hotel is brilliantly located and has amazing views from the top floor. The rooms are large but with little hanging area. The beds are large and hard but comfortable. Room service and housekeeping is haphazard. Some days your room is serviced other days not.
The staff are friendly, breakfasts are okay but limited choice of fresh fruit and veg. The pool area is crammed with around 10 beds squeezed in to one side of the terrace but do have shade.
Great value and would likely return.
Jjordanfrom jakarta indonesiaThis is a hotel whose location is most easily reached by bus number 3 (1500 riel/person) to and from PNOM Penh International Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the night market which is only 100 meters to the hotel and only takes 3 minutes. The hotel location is right opposite the Riverside and walking to the royal palace is only 7-10 minutes. Thank you for the hospitality of the hotel manager
