Amazing
JJohann DieterWe stayed at this 4‑star hotel for a 3‑night Christmas staycation as a couple, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and welcoming. Check‑in was quick and efficient, and every staff member we met was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive. Their service really elevated our stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom featuring a relaxing rain‑shower. The big TV offered Asian news channels, a few sports channels, and even a movie channel, which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a generous buffet offering both Western and Asian cuisine. On Christmas Eve, we enjoyed the festive buffet dinner, which was a standout. The traditional Western dishes—especially the roast leg of lamb and stuffed turkey—were flavorful and beautifully prepared. The price was also noticeably more affordable than Christmas Eve dinners at other hotels, which made it even better value. The hotel’s facilities were another highlight. The 24‑hour gym was well‑equipped with the latest machines, making workouts convenient at any time. The infinity pool was stunning, especially at sunset, offering breathtaking views over the city. The restaurant staff were consistently attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The location is excellent—close to shops and easy to get around. We also loved the Sky Bar, which offers fantastic views over Phnom Penh. Their happy hour from 4pm to 7pm (buy one drink, get one free) was a great way to relax and enjoy the skyline. If we had to mention one downside, it would be the slow Wi‑Fi. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to everything else the hotel offered. Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas staycation and would definitely book here again. Highly recommended.

NNicoletteMy stay coincided with the king’s coronation holiday and I was certainly in for treat! Three nights of fireworks, how lucky! I even got to witness a ceremony of sorts from my room window (red carpet and the full works). The hotel’s location is amazing with unmatched views of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum Park and from the rooftop infinity pool on the 12th floor, a breathtaking view of the river! Just a short walk on the main road, you’ll find a small Daily Mart with necessities, the victory monument just across the road, and Brown Cafe (it’s not the only branch but it’s the coolest-looking one with a little glass house centre and good cold drip coffee). While the hotel doesn’t have a gym, Phnom Penh is a relatively walkable city and you can definitely get your steps in while exploring. Don’t miss the sunset - absolutely stunning from the pool. You can order food from the restaurant (the hotel’s only restaurant on the 11th floor) and they’ll serve it to you poolside. Breakfast and the food at the hotel’s restaurant is average at best and you’re much better off having it at Brown Cafe just 2 min walk from the hotel, or any of the local eateries nearby. When I checked in, the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe king room but I noticed a strong smell of turpentine or some chemical sealant that stung my eyes. It was likely from some recent repair works. Turning up the AC and opening the windows solved it. Bonus points for the bedding - super comfortable. Had the best sleep and there were mornings where I had to pull myself out of bed. But the best part of this comfortable fuss-free hotel is the warm hospitality and service from the hotel staff. They truly made my stay feel like a home away from home. Special shoutout to Thiya from the front desk for helping me out when I broke a glass in the bathroom, and for his patience with my incessant queries. I’ll certainly be back!

NNaoyuki TomitaI would like to stay at this hotel again if I go to Phnom Penh. Although it is a small hotel, the rooms are spacious and the interior design is well thought out, giving you a Cambodian feel. The staff were also kind and polite, so I give it a high rating.

GGuest UserThe hotel has a great ambient, nice minimalistic modern design and all the hotel staffs are pleasant and nice. We had a great time staying and will come back again whenever back to Phnom Penh again. Location is great, a short walk to the King’s Palace and by the riverside promenade. The roof top restaurant has a great view. The food quality serves are good.

RRobsastarOn this trip I upgraded to one of their apartments and that made my week even more comfortable.. Very spacious, bath, 2 showers 2 toilets, 2 good aircon units and a small balcony overlooking Wat Botum pagoda. A good family sized fridge freezer meant my drinks, milk meats and cheeses were cold. Basic utensils but top tip, bring a normal cutlery knife. Located on 4th floor, I woas treated to a spooky but spectacular lightning show without the rumble of thunder. Stood on balcony and had a fantastic view. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfasts still very good, simple but plenty. However going 'self-catering' allowed me to get my cornflakes and ice cold milk in the morning. Cannot beat that! Next visit will see me booking an apartment only. So so convenient. Again, Le Botum was a superb location for me. Go to street 172. Plenty of expats....some characters too...and a 24hr supermarket called 'Smile' and you will. So much British stuff, it could have been anywhere in the UK. Book Le Botum. You won't be disappointed.

DDr.IELTSA Stay at The Ostro: An Ode to Modern Refinement and Culinary Artistry There emerges from the landscape of luxury hospitality a destination that transcends mere accommodation, establishing itself as a most significant retreat for the discerning traveler. The Ostro Hotel, and its beating heart, The Ostro Gastro Pub, do not simply offer a service—they orchestrate an experience of profound elegance and visceral satisfaction. To enter The Ostro is to be translated into a world where contemporary design meets timeless comfort. The lobby is a symphony of curated silence, textured stone, and soft, intelligent lighting—a prelude to the sanctuary of the rooms. Here, every element is a testament to considered artistry: the linens of impossible weightlessness, the curated library of local literature, the balcony that frames the city not as a sprawl, but as a private panorama. It is an environment that does not shout its luxury, but whispers it, allowing the guest a rare and precious commodity: profound peace. Yet, it is within the famed Gastro Pub that The Ostro’s philosophy finds its most vibrant expression. This is no mere hotel restaurant; it is a culinary crucible where passion is plated. The atmosphere hums with a convivial energy, stylish yet unpretentious, where the glow of the bar and the open kitchen provide a theatre of creation. The menu is a document of bravery and respect—for local provenance, for classic technique, for bold innovation. Each dish arrives not as a meal, but as a statement. The hand-cut chipped steak, a masterpiece of carnivorous delight, speaks of aged perfection and fiery grills. The market-fresh seafood, presented with minimalist flair, tastes of the coast and of sheer, unadulterated quality. The wine and cocktail list is a globe-trotting yet expertly focused companion, curated by minds that understand alchemy is not confined to the kitchen. What truly elevates The Ostro from the exceptional to the indelible, however, is the service. The staff—from the insightful concierge who anticipates a need before it is spoken, to the pub’s servers who narrate the menu with the enthusiasm of true devotees—operate with a seamless, warm professionalism. They are the silent architects of your ease. In conclusion, The Ostro Hotel does not merely provide a place to sleep and dine. It offers a landmark experience. It stands as a testament to what happens when visionary design, culinary excellence, and impeccable service converge. One does not visit The Ostro. One remembers it. One returns to it. For those in pursuit of the flawless urban escape, it is not a choice, but the only destination.

GGuest UserExcellent location with warm service. However, it isn’t an ideal hotel location for tourist location where situating near a bin or smth like landfill that with unlike smell. Additionally, the room was filled with ants everywhere. The hygiene condition definitely has room for improvement. In terms of faculties, the bathroom can’t provide hot water with stable temperatures, i can’t take a shower with hot water around 7ish. anyway, i still think the hotel quality is matched with the price though, not a bad choice for a short stay

AAirborn63The hotel is just few years old, modern decor with good bed, balcony, fridge, kettle and it is clean. Next door is a restaurant where breakfast is served as well as lunch or evening meal. It is in a quiet location giving good night sleep. If you prefer to eat elsewhere there are plenty of places nearby. Based short tuctuc ride from the airport. Definitely value for money, I will be returning.

Jjordanfrom jakarta indonesiaThis is a hotel whose location is most easily reached by bus number 3 (1500 riel/person) to and from PNOM Penh International Airport. The bus stop is right in front of the night market which is only 100 meters to the hotel and only takes 3 minutes. The hotel location is right opposite the Riverside and walking to the royal palace is only 7-10 minutes. Thank you for the hospitality of the hotel manager
