Great
GGuest UserI had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was simply fantastic! The cleanliness throughout the hotel was top-notch – everything was spotless and well-maintained. I was especially impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, who were always there with a smile and created a welcoming atmosphere.
The facilities were excellent and provided everything needed for a relaxing stay. From the comfortable room to the modern amenities and a very well-equipped fitness center – it’s a place where you feel completely at ease as well as the pool. Breakfast was also nice to have. Overall I can highly recommend it.
BB-YThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of many attractions, making it very convenient. The staff is warm and friendly, and deserves praise. The daily gift of drink and snack vouchers, good for use in the hotel restaurant from 5 to 7 p.m., was a welcome bonus.
The room was large, with ample space and a jacuzzi, but it was quite noisy. The curtains were quite dusty, and many of the hooks were broken, making them difficult to close. Overall, however, the room was quite nice.
AAnonymous UserThe vertical space was ample, and I had a fulfilling day. However, the other guests in nearby rooms were very loud, and the sound echoed through the walls constantly. So, if there are people who don't respect others' privacy, it might be a bit tough to stay here.
GGuest UserThe Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown enjoys a prime location: Located at 1415 rue St Hubert in Ville-Marie, the hotel is conveniently located within the same building as the metro, making transportation very convenient. It's close to the city center, about a 10-minute taxi ride away, and conveniently located for attractions like Place Emilie-Gamelin, Galerie de l'UQAM, and the Olympic Tower. The hotel offers comprehensive amenities, including a wonderful pool, gym, and sauna, perfect for relaxing during your trip. Rooms are well-appointed and spacious, with large bathrooms and comfortable beds, and some rooms offer stunning city views. The service is excellent. The staff are always friendly, helpful, courteous, attentive, and professional. The hotel is clean and elegant throughout, and guests have rated the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas highly. Overall, the Hyatt Place Montreal Downtown is a good value hotel for travelers visiting Montreal.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel, reasonable prices, the room is squeaky clean, friendly hotel staff and very accommodating. I noticed only 1 minor thing, you have to pay for the parking spot per night. Generally it was a great stay. Will recommend and stay again soon.

Very Good
Bbobodoglocation is ok, price is acceptable, sanitation is ok, facility is ok, service is ok.
generally this is an old school fashion hotel with required quality. two things that are not so satisfied during this journey.
One is although the location is convenient, the surrounding environment is not that good. the hotel is low rise building, and there is a open park nearby. you can here some people grouping and noising at midnight occasionally, i think they rejoice with weeds. also when you walk outside street, the air is full of **** smell.
the second thing is the problem with fire arm in my room on one afternoon, which is loud and harming my ear.
GGuest UserI’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay.
It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference.
TLDR;
Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room
Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.
GGuest UserWe were very fortunate and truly grateful to be checked in early by the kind gentleman working in the reception.
Hotel is localed nearby to the various attractions within walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel is within 10-15 minutes from the main train station and highly recommended to stay for ease of exploring the various attractions and breakfast was included.
GGuest UserIt’s good but not satisfying actually they charge for parking my previous visit in Montreal but n other hotels they didn’t charge for parking anyway it’s good experience
