My stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Montreal from April 3–5, 2026 was an overall very positive experience.
The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore Old Montreal and nearby attractions without any hassle. The suite-style rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a full day out. I especially appreciated the separate living area, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy.
The complimentary breakfast was a standout feature, offering a solid variety of hot options like eggs, meats, and potatoes, not just a basic continental spread. It definitely set a good tone for the day. The evening reception was another highlight the happy hour drinks were excellent, with a great selection and a relaxed atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day.
Service was friendly and professional throughout my stay. Staff were helpful, responsive, and made check-in and check-out smooth and efficient.
If I had to mention one small drawback, it would be that the hotel can get a bit busy during peak hours, especially around breakfast time, but that’s expected given its popularity.
Also the parking was a bit pricey .
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for couples, business travelers, or anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Montreal. I would gladly stay here again.

xinxixiWe were very pleased with the room, especially having a small kitchen which was super convenient. However, I don't understand why our room wasn't cleaned on the second day when we stayed for two nights. The location here is very convenient; we walked to all the attractions. Chinatown is right next door, which satisfied our Chinese food cravings.

ShanqingquanlengThe location is excellent! Turn right out of the hotel and you're in Chinatown, making it super convenient for food and shopping. It's just a few hundred meters' walk to the Old Town and Old Port, and Notre-Dame de la Garde is about 300 meters straight ahead. The train station and metro station are also within walking distance. The hotel's overall environment and hygiene are good. The decor feels a bit dated, and the bathroom's ventilation system is quite noisy, as is the air conditioning when it's on. Also, for a family of three, there were no breakfast options for three people – only for two, four, or no breakfast at all. So, we didn't get to try it and can't comment on it.

The hotel is at a very convenient location. It’s not that new but very cozy and clean.
They have 24hrs coffee, tea, water, which is really great.
And the welcome gift (snacks) is really helpful if you arrives late but don’t want to eat outside or heavy.

LivyC75The hotel room was very spacious and well-designed with a large comfortable bed. There’s also a sauna with a beautiful view of the city skyline. The location is just north of Berri-UQAM station which makes travel convenient, although the area itself isn’t particularly safe and during the summer months, it’s clear there are a lot of individuals suffering from homelessness, addiction, and mental health struggles who use the surrounding neighbourhood parks to hang out. The hotel staff were generally helpful although there were a few times we made requests to the front desk that needed following up. The amenities in the room itself felt very well-maintained. One downside was that there was no free bottled water provided and we had to buy water from the shop in the hotel lobby, which was heavily overpriced and we thought it was a bit ridiculous considering the price we were paying for the room. Overall, would recommend as it is a cheaper hotel than others but this comes with a price in terms of area safety and amenities provided by the hotel.

This hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.

Lorca_510The location is excellent. It’s like walking distance to everywhere in downtown. In my three days trip, we barely take any transport when we’re roaming around in downtown area. And the staffs are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back again next time!!

The room was clean and I had a comfortable stay without any issues. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, which made getting around easy. It was only about a 15-minute walk to Montreal Station, so even with a suitcase, it was easy to get there.

Front desk, breakfast crew and housekeeping were great. Unfortunately my husband was eaten alive by BED BUGS!! Housekeeping came to inspect the bed and found it on the bed and the pillow. I was fairly calm at the time because I was just in shock and just wanted to leave to wipe all our belongings down, but when Hotel manager didn't call us the next day as promised by the front desk manager I felt really disregarded as a paying customer. We had to call them back and after going back and forth they refuse to give us a refund! Our vacation was cut short because we had to go straight home to wash our belongings worried that an infestation might occur from our drive back to Pickering from Montreal. The drive home was very uncomfortable for my husband, my daughter is traumatized and I was just overall disgusted!! When we got home we had to strip down in our backyard and left all our belongings outdoors for 2 days just to make sure we didn't bring anything in. We then had to wash everything in hot water which lead to some of our clothes shrinking. It is now 4 days since the incident occurred and still no satisfactory resolution! We will NEVER stay at another Ramada again.

There is no breakfast, the service is average, and a deposit is required when checking in, and the deposit is returned when checking out, which is obviously troublesome and inconvenient for guests. Room inspection is required every time you check out.
