Guest UserVery happy with my stay at this hotel. Would highly recommend and will come back to stay.
Excellent location- conveniently located central downtown and walking distance to a lot of places. Within 10min walk to Crew Cafe, Complexe Desjardins, Underground City, Eatons, Notre Dame Basilica and many great restaurants such as Monarque.
Amenities- great! The gym had decent equipment, there is an outdoor heated pool and a sauna. Lobby has a cafe and there is a restaurant and bar in building as well.
Valet parking (in and out privilege) $48/night or self parking $35/night in same building. And a grocery store “Avril” just outside the hotel.
Room- very clean and spacious! Modern design, includes slippers, very comfortable mattress with foam pillows. There is a mini bar fridge, electric kettle and a coffee machine. There is also a water dispenser in the hallway to refill your water bottles.

We loved this Moxy! The only slight downside was the location - it was just outside of both the Old Town and the main part of the city, a little bit stuck in the middle of no where. This wouldn't be a deal breaker for us, but was a little bit inconvenient a couple of times when we just wanted to pop out to a shop and the nearest was 20 minutes away. However, the rooms were great, clean, spacious, with everything you could need provided in the stash room. We ate and drank at the bar one night, which was fantastic service and good value. However, the pool/gym facilities were incredible! I loved finishing my day with a swim and a dip in the hot tub or sauna, and my husband regularly used the gym. All in all, great hotel!

QiaokelibabamamaThe hotel was clean, with tidy bathrooms and bedding. The surrounding area was quiet, and there was a large, free parking lot, so parking was never an issue for self-drivers. It was about a 20-minute drive from Old Montreal.
The room had a mini-fridge, which was very practical for storing food and drinks. Essential amenities like air conditioning and hot water were all available. The front desk provided hot water, coffee, and tea all day, and the staff were friendly, efficient with check-ins, and patiently answered questions about local routes. It offers good value for money and is recommended for those traveling by car.

My sister and I just finished visiting my son in Toronto and we decided to visit Montreal. We booked 2 rooms.
We had a terrible experience at Royal York Fairmont . We got kicked out from the lobby lounge by Karen over there for voicing our concern for the service being slow.
For we had absolutely low expectations for QE. When we checked in there were 3 staff at the counter. 2 of them were engaged in their friendly conversation and one of them stepped up to help us. I thought that was totally unprofessional for the staff chatting among themselves in front of guests.
Rooms are basic and clean. The location is central. The staff has showed no warmth and attention. In Asia a hotel of this level will greet u warmly and the better one will remember your name.
Services at restaurants in Montreal are top notch. We visited some with long history and the staff took pride to explain to us the history. It is a shame Fairmont has some of best historic buildings in Canada and the staff showed no interest to highlight the history of the buildings.
I travelled a lot for me to earn a diamond member here. I will avoid staying at Fairmont and any of their member hotels from now on.

Guest UserWe really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Bonaventure. The hotel is on the 10th floor of Place Bonaventure with underground parking which is super convenient. The heated outdoor pool was amazing to relax in. It was a very popular spot! We ate in the dining room a couple of times and enjoyed the food both times! Rooms are large, king bed was comfortable and our view of the duck pond was great! Felt like we were in a rural setting, not downtown Montreal! I highly recommend this hotel!!

SerenuoHuge thanks to the front desk staff for letting me check in early! The hotel has great views and the room was super comfortable. It's also incredibly close to all the attractions around Notre Dame Cathedral, easily walkable.

Guest UserI've stayed here before. It's a typical airport hotel. No restaurant, but the rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. It would be great if the shuttle ran more frequently than every 30 minutes.
The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is right next to Chinatown, and the subway station is conveniently located across the street to the left of the hotel's main entrance. If you turn right from the main entrance, you'll find a Southeast Asian food street. It's a fantastic location, just a 7-8 minute walk to attractions like the Old Port, Notre-Dame Basilica, the underground city's fountains, and the Berlin Wall photo spot. What was most surprising was the hotel's Chinese-style decor, and even the food ads in the elevator were in Chinese, which felt very welcoming. We booked a twin room, and it was quite spacious with two comfortable queen-sized beds (1.5m). Some front desk staff speak Chinese, though not always available. Overall, the service was good. The only minor downsides were that the room didn't provide slippers or a kettle, and there was no complimentary bottled water.
