Amazing
ZZEYUThe room is very large, the location is convenient, the bathroom is also very large, there is a bathtub, and the shampoo and shower gel provided are also very good, the hygiene is very clean, and a small dessert is also sent. I like this style of hotel very much. I think it's worth the price.

GGuest UserI love this hotel nestled in the heart of Old Montréal and Old Port. I had a great room with a wonderful corner view of Old Montréal, it’s rooftops, the Grande Roue and the little cafes and boutiques below. Room is very comfortable. I love the long modern working desk, the comfy lounge chair, plush bedding and above all the spa multi jet shower… Because of pandemic restrictions most of the amenities of the hotel were not accessible. The hotel has such a nice lounge and bar area but I couldn’t go there. The gym was also off limits. There is an outdoor courtyard that was advertised as open even in the winter with fire pits but it wasn’t accessible during my stay. My only complaint would be that my room was drafty but I also stayed on one of the coldest weekends of the year and I could adjust the heat in the room. I asked for a throw blanket to cuddle in while reading in the lounge chair. They brought me the cuddliest faux fur blanket, I was almost thankful for the draft. Can’t wait for my next opportunity to stay here. In my opinion, this hotel is more geared towards adults (solo/business/couples/adult getaways) rather than families with young children. It has a high-end, modern, chic vibe. However, I’m quite sure they would accommodate children too. Photos don’t do the view justice. They were taken during a snow storm with poor visibility. Under normal conditions, was really nice and at night, so beautiful with all the lights and illuminated Grande Roue.

GGuest UserCleanliness and service were just average. However, the location is excellent; the ambiance was elegant, and the food was good. Its proximity to the subway makes transportation incredibly convenient. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, offers a huge selection of fantastic dining options, and is also close to several universities and art schools.

RRICK_ZachThe windows in the room are made up of small pieces, the design is a bit strange, there is no view at all, and there is insufficient daylight. The water pipe switch of the toilet wash basin is very inconvenient, and water will flow from the cracks to the ground after washing hands. The electric induction toilet toilet seat is a bit annoying. Shower room is worthy of praise, the shower is very comfortable and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, such a package is still far away from a 5-star hotel. Maybe my expectations are too high!

AAnonymous UserThe vertical space was ample, and I had a fulfilling day. However, the other guests in nearby rooms were very loud, and the sound echoed through the walls constantly. So, if there are people who don't respect others' privacy, it might be a bit tough to stay here.

GGuest UserThis was our second stay here, pretty sure we even got the same room! This is a great option for those who want to have the option to cook your own food for a couple of meals during your stay. Griffintown is a GREAT location to stay if you want to walk and explore. We only took one uber the whole weekend.

GGezi813Facilities: The facilities are basically complete, with bathroom supplies, hairdryers, water cups, tableware, coffee machines, and toasters in the public areas. The only regret is that slippers are not provided. Cleanliness: The cleanliness inside the room, corridors and public areas is very good. Environment: The housing environment is great, the layout of the room is warm and comfortable, the house is located in a residential area, and the scenery after snow is very beautiful! ! (Look at the picture😄) The room is very close to the subway. You can enter the subway in about two minutes' walk. The transportation is very convenient. One disadvantage is that since the rooms are made of wood, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear clearly any movement next door and upstairs and downstairs. Service: I didn't see the owner during the entire check-in and check-out process. He only took the key from the combination lock. It was not very adaptable at first, and because I didn’t receive the room password, I had to call the host to confirm. If I need to ask any questions, I basically call them by phone (not very friendly to friends who are not good at English). But after getting used to it later, I felt that this was pretty good. There was no need to wait or socialize (I was very happy😄). This is a matter of opinion.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well. This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate. I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.
