"Overall very satisfied, brand new hotel, the price is far lower than the hotel booked in other cities. The location of the hotel is excellent, there is a subway station exit diagonally opposite, and it is very convenient to take to St. Joseph's Church and the old city. The room is a bit small, but there are also some. The best thing is that breakfast is free, far more choices than Toyoko, the automatic muffin machine is too cute. Recommended. There are two shortcomings: 1 Too new, the smell in the corridor is quite big, the room is fine; 2 There are many homeless people on the nearby Katherine Pedestrian Street, and the atmosphere is a bit scary."

Great
LLittleMoonMoonGreat hotel with super affordable prices. They provide free breakfast, welcoming drinks and apples! What a surprise! The room is big, with comfy bed, desk, sofa…everything you need. With free parking lot as well. Better than the 4-star Hilton hotel nearby lol
AAnita2 hotels share 1 cramp breakfast room.found 1 3-inch screw by my bed and the kitchen wall is kind of under finish. Staffs in breakfast room is quick in weekday but only half the staffs are available in weekend.
Front desk ladys don't like to simile , so will try my rusty French next time.
Try to ask front desk for direction heading to VIA train station and she only know how to take Uber .
Hardware is fine but soft skill sets of the hotel may need to be reviewed.
RRie DezThis is my third trip to Montreal, Canada and also my first time going during the winter. We stayed at the InterContinental, in the downtown area. We got a wonderful room with a great view of the city (absolutely beautiful with the snow). The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We opted to do self parking at the parking garage connected down below. We didn’t we to be exposed to the cold too long. The room was immaculate and stocked with all toiletries, several fluffy pillows and the bed was comfy. They also provided two complimentary bottled waters and free hot chocolate in the lobby (from 10 am 7 pm).
I would rate this experience a 4/5, only because our room was not attended to when we requested it. We came back and the additional towels, blankets, and replacement soap were not put up. They were placed in the bathroom and on the bed around midnight when we returned (seems like the front desk dropped it off since there no one was available).
GGuest UserThis is our second visit to the Bonaventure. Both visits we have had trouble with paying for parking, and I am now calling because I think I was billed twice. I prepaid through Trip.com, and was charged again at the hotel.
That bruised a really nice visit. This was a rare family visit, and we were able to get a adjoining rooms.
Hotel is located on the 10th floor “penthouse “. There is access to the underground so no need to go outside in the cold, unless you want to take a dip in the pool. A unique experience for many guests
We miss placed our parking receipt and was given a voucher to give the parking attendant that never showed up. We waited 45 minutes to leave, had to go back up to the desk to explain and get another receipt. This morning I have to call the hotel because I believe I was charged again for the rooms. Front desk mixup? Probably, but

GGuest UserStaying at this hotel for the third time. It is especially recommended for those who need to take the train, because the central station is connected to the back door of the hotel. The hotel's location is within walking distance to the old town and shopping streets. The hotel bed was very comfortable.

GGuest UserThe location and staff of the hotel were great, but the facilities were very outdated. It was disappointing that when I looked out of the window, I could only see the wall, and as soon as I opened the door, the bed was right there, which was regrettable.
Due to the fact that there are three hotels with the same name in downtown, it is important to double-check the address and make sure you find the correct one.
GGuest UserI’ve been coming to Hotel Zero 1 for a few years, being the only hotel I book in Montreal due to its impeccable walkability. That being said, it’s unfortunate that it’s no longer shiny and new, you can really see the wear and tear over the years. If you want luxury you’re not going to find it here; however, it’s still a great place to stay for the action packed traveller who wants somewhere a bit nicer than a motel to stay. I booked knowing full well it wasn’t going to be the most amazing stay but it was not as bad as some of the Google reviews make it out to be- it’s just dated. The room was clean, check in and check out was easy, and even though the valet service is closed, the parkade they directed us to was safe and straightforward. I’d categorize this hotel as 3 stars as the amenities aren’t that great, but just know what you’re walking into, manage your expectations to that, and you will have a great stay.
It’s just kind of a shame to see a hotel that I have great memories in not keep up with maintaining the property. If they repaired the fabric on the bed, replaced the shower heads and updated with smart TVs, that would make a world of difference.
TLDR;
Pros: clean linens, cable tv, microwave and fridge in the room
Cons: dated technology, broken Roku, only one elevator for the whole building, no on site parking.

MMarley KThis hotel is a little gem in a super area of downtown Montreal. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a good selection of comfortable pillows. A kitchenette made it very easy to pick up salads or snacks to refrigerate or reheat leftovers from a restaurant the night before. Breakfast is included and there’s a good selection of fruit, boiled eggs, smoked salmon, deli meats and yogurt. Cereals as well. While there were scrambled eggs, I tried them twice but not cooked to my taste. Having said that, there were fresh pastries and bagels, so a bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon with some fruit served very well.
This hotel is very walkable to Notre Dame, Place des Arts and several theatres and museums. Lots of great restaurants to suit anyone’s tastes. The subway is literally a 3-minute walk and in 10 minutes, you can be at the Jean Talon Market, which has a plethora of foods and drinks to suit anyone’s taste palate.
I’d highly recommend Hotel and Spa Carre St. Denis and will definitely be back next time I visit Montreal.
GGuest UserThe staff were friendly and helpful. I had a strange experience in which a random girl ran into my elevator, talked to me rapidly in French and ran out. Maybe that’s because the location is downtown. But it was an easy walk to sightseeing spots. I was only staying overnight before the next plane, but I went to Chinatown and the pier, and even rode the Ferris wheel in the short time I had.
